Ive been here a short time. But too long to carry on like this.
Never meaning to argue, but only to dialogue doesnt work the same
with everyone. Before you know it someone is offended and say your soul is damned.
Im laughing, but its not really funny.

In the future with what ive learned, I hope to stay friendly and avoid
these traps. And find good threads to benefit from. Or make threads
i like and hope the right people join in if interested. If you think im a nut
I dont mind you telling me that. But the giant names arnt necessary.

Ive had friends that ive discussed certain doctrines over for years,
without any personal feeling against each other. I dont mind emotion
but when it comes to having bitterness, then its selfdestruction to
continue. Apologies to those who need one.

yeah it took me a little longer to come to that conclusion as well. just avoid commenting on the people who will most likely take your words to mean things you don't or take offense and start calling names you know in your heart are not true. I view it as keeping your weak brethren from stumbling in their anger and immaturity. lol that sounded prideful but not meant that way for I avoid the threads and the people who would make me angry and stumble as well and do not talk about issues that the Bible does not clearly define as important and vital for salvation. at least not on forums, the chat rooms are a little easier to have conversation on sensitive topics.

Hey if i have a thread you can be disruptive with me. I like it, just dont with the special people.
Most of my experience has been very good. Ive enjoyed alot of the posts.

This morning as I was waking up I was thinking about something a teenager told me years ago.

What happened was this other kid had a stereo and it got stolen by a Mexican and the Mexican sold this stereo to a different teen for 80 dollars. somewhere along the line the kid who got the stereo stolen found out that the other teen got his stereo, so what his friends were going to do that weekend was get into a big group fight with the other friends of the other teen and get bloody and bruised. He figured there would be 14 teens involved.

In the mean time the Mexican is long gone in mexico sipping on his tequila and enjoying his 80 dollars. I imagine if he learned of the big fight with those stupid teenagers he would enjoy his 80 dollars even more. he'd be laughing his head off.

I applaud you Abiding and do appologize if I have offended you as well (which I probably have although it was not inteded). I don't think any of us came here with the intent to argue or debate however, it's hard not to get involved when someone is trashing on your beliefs basically calling you a servant of the devil when you have never even spoken to the person before in your life. *lol*

If I get offended, it doesnt mean anyone intended to offend me. If we choose to debate, until we get skilled
at it, which im not. We could goof and step on toes. If we disagree, I think we can sit back and rethink. Its not the disagreeing at all that that bugs me, or my witto feewings. Its the side taking. Then I remember Pauls words. Divisions are bad, because we all have or had at one time, incorrect doctrine. I think by grace, we will grow and learn, but ive seen divisions turn into gangs, then a part we need in the body isnt there and we all lose. Especially when you think about the verse that says the more feeble have the more abundant

I probably have had every bad doctrine and every wrong religious motive under the sun. But I didnt mean
to, even tho I hung onto it for my life. Because our lives do depend on these things. But God know us and He knows when He will correct us. So untill then...we fellowship right?

What throws me also is the wolf, heretic, void of spirit, etc. talk. Its not that they dont exist. Its that there are no deacons here who can walk them out. And I think in one day in one thread, everyone was called a wolf by another. It remind me of chicken little. Wheat and tares will grow togather till the harvest. I want everyone to be a wheat. And I know what someone believes, changes as they transform. But if we dont
make rules against certain behavior, we will either cause a brother to stumble, or help the devil. If we lose
our witness, we have no purpose, and our effectiveness in the kingdom is gone.

But no I have no memory of anything bad with you, like i said, I dont mind a debate, otherwise this would just be a reading room. But thankyou. :)

Amen mikee, well said. We all have been on both ends of the spectrum, throwing stones or being pelted by them. Wow Jesus just pelted with them, may we all not be the ones pelting Him because really, I feel, that's is what we are really doing when things go sour.
