Jesus came to died for our sins because He loves us and wants us to get another chance.
We ought to choose to follow Him allways and to give up our selves and follow Him and to trust his ways

God predestined to allow cain of his own free will to reject him, and not force cain to obey God in all areas.
so God is forcing you now?....so all those who obey God is forcing them and those who disobey God is forcing them....?where does the scripture teach God forces anyone....if it is force it is not faith....

Yes, a "nakash" problem is most have not fully grasped what nakash is... (nachash)

But this is misunderstood and misused by many IMO.
The word used for serpent in verse 3 is nāhāsh, a word that appears 41 times in the Hebrew Bible and is translated “serpent,” “snake,” or “viper.”
The second word is tannin and it is used three times in Exodus 7:9-12, in the passage quoted above. The word tannin has a variety of meanings in the Hebrew Bible. According to H. Niehr, in an article in The Theological Dictionary of the Old Testament, the wordtannin can be translated as “dragon,” “serpent,” “crocodile,” or “sea monster.” In addition, Niehr said that the tannin lives in the sea, lakes and rivers, and the netherworld.
Moses and His Crocodile | Dr. Claude Mariottini – Professor of Old Testament

In Akan symbolism there is a design of crossed crocodiles, two joined crocodiles that share the same stomach. You can find the description at the Akan Cultural Symbols Project by scrolling down the page of Akan Political Beliefs. I have always been particularly fond of this as a symbol for the competing interests of constituents in a democracy. FUNTUMFUNAFU DENKYEM FUNAFU – JOINED CROCODILES Symbol of UNITY IN DIVERSITY, DEMOCRACY, and UNITY OF PURPOSE The symbol is also referred to as odenkyem mmemu – Siamese twin crocodiles joined at the stomach. From the proverb: Funtumfunafu, denkyemmfunafu, won afuru bomu nso wodidi a na worefom efiri se aduane ne de ye di no mene twitwi mu. Literal translation: Two headed crocodiles fight over food that goes to a common stomach because each relishes the food in its throat. This symbol, in essence, depicts the Akan notions about the inherent difficulties of reconciling individual and group interests in a democratic system. https://crossedcrocodiles.wordpress.com/about/

The Akan (
pronunciation (help·info); /əˈkæn/) are a nation and indigenous ethnic group residing on the Gulf of Guinea in the southern regions of the Gold Coast region in what are today the republics of Ghana and the Ivory Coast in West Africa.

Akans are the largest ethnic group in both countries and have a population of roughly 20 million people. Akans are not a raciallyhomogeneous ethnicity and they encompass a range of phenotypes. The Akan language (also known as Twi–Fante) is a group of dialects within the Kwa branch of the Niger-Congo language family.[SUP][2][/SUP] Also included under the term "Akan" are the Bia languages (in which case it is common to speak of "Akan languages", as a group of languages). Namely; Anu, Fanti, Khememu, Tebu, Hensu, Maati, Per-Menu, Tutu and Ati.

Since these names are for the dead to introduce themselves in the after-life, with so many Akan names, more than half in fact, isn't the book of the dead telling us that the ancient Egyptians are the Akan people of West Africa?

Whenever a covenant is made, animals are cut into pieces and blood is all over the ground where the pieces were laid. The the two parties walk through the blood in a figure eight and said what they agreed upon, and they also said if whom doesn't keep their word, whatever happened to the animals, will happen to the one that renege. A vow is a vow.
Ok sorry to any who thought I might be searching for God. I am a Christian :) God is good all the time.
Since I arreived here I have had what I get in real life a roller coaster ride of love hate. Thats ok I eat that up every day. Doesnt bother me wither you love or hate me. As I am learning to love people no matter what they think or do to me. And that only happens after asking God for His heart. Alleyluya to the lamb.

The questions are extremly deep searching questions some might have recognised.

All the answers were great thank you all. I just love sharing what I have been learning in the last two years. I have been a Christian since 23 years. First two were great and slowly religeon took away from me all God taught me. I then died and wondered why I even went to church. I looked around and said Lord something is wrong. This is not what I sighned up for. This church is dead. although the people said they loved me they never. It was all fleshy conditional love. I was involved in everything that was done in church at every level except eldership. Then after 21 years I left the church because I heard a message that really changed my mind and life. This stuff is so exciting to me now. I love you Jesus. And I dont hide it.

So to the questions. The answers were all great. Nonthing wrong in them at all.

" Why did Jesus die?"

Jesus did die to save us from the effects of sin, from our sin.
He did die to retore us, redeem us, salvage us, heal us. These all all correct.

One or two hit it on the nail with some scripture. The one vital word is to restore the kingdom of God.
Jesus died to restore man to original condition IE Adam and Eve relationship.

Adam bowed the knee to satan (No capitol for him as he is beneath us :) )
satan took Adams authority that God had given Adam.
Jesus completed the law and restored the kingdom to man again.
Gave us the baton to carry on as He did restoring the kingdom.

"What are you to do as a Christian?"

Most answers again were similer. Some were bang on.

Quoting in short, you might reconise the words you used.
Be like Christ. Growing into Christ, likeness of God. Love works of Gos etc.
These are all good.

So this begs the next question. What were the works of Christ/God?

And do you do them?

Again some might think as I seen it all before. Whos this guy think he is. What ever. Bless those who give this a chance and see if I am wrong. Follow this and it will knock you socks off.

OK guy we answered the first two questions what about the next question? And no derialing please This is not about snkaes sarcifises or anything else. Its about what we are here for.

So this begs the next question. What were the works of Christ/God?

And do you do them?

Why did Christ die?

What are you to do as a Christian?

Just a short stright answers is all I am looking for.

1) Jesus came to die to reconcile us to God, by giving us a way to be truly forgiven of our sins.

2) As a Christian we are to follow our Lord Jesus, by keeping and obeying His commands.

What are you to do as a Christian? Work our way to perfection.

Just a short stright answers is all I am looking for.

Luke 14:27 And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.

Luke 23:26 As the soldiers led him away, they seized Simon from Cyrene, who was on his way in from the country, and put the cross on him and made him carry it behind Jesus.

1 Corinthians 16:10 When Timothy comes, see to it that he has nothing to fear while he is with you, for he is carrying on the work of the Lord, just as I am.

John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

First question:
Jesus saves, but how does He save?
Because we have sinned against an infinite God, either a finite person (us) must pay for our sins for an infinite amount of time, or an infinite Person (Jesus) must pay for our sins one time. There is no other option. Jesus saves us by dying in our place. In the person of Jesus Christ, God sacrificed Himself on our behalf, paying the infinite and eternal penalty only He could pay (2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 John 2:2). Jesus took the punishment that we deserve in order to save us from a horrible eternal destiny, the just consequence of our sin. Because of His great love for us, Jesus laid down His life (John 15:13), paying the penalty that we had earned, but could not pay. Jesus was then resurrected, demonstrating that His death was indeed sufficient to pay the penalty for our sins (1 Corinthians 15).

Second question:

Being a "good Christian" is not about performing certain actions. It is about growing in love for Christ and allowing His Holy Spirit to transform our hearts and lives. Jesus is the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), the recipe-writer and taste-tester for our lives. As we seek to know God and glorify Him, we also get to enjoy Him (Psalm 73:25—26). The good Christian knows God, enjoys God, and grows in grace.

Helllllllo Free To Be! :D

The best way to reflect God (or to have Him shine through us) is to strive to have a mind like Christ and to live as He did. Everything from there will fall into place when it comes to being a Christian. Because what we are on the inside plays a big part in our actions on the outside. Our life will never be perfect it wont always be fair, fun or easy either. We will mess up and make mistakes so not EVERYTHING we do or say will relflect God.

1. Receiving His grace (Christ Jesus dying on the cross to take the place of our sins) because that grace we are given on the inside reflects God through our actions on the outside.

Things like being baptized, reading the bible and studying with other believers is a good way to start out your Christian life style and those are some ways to reflect God. Telling others that you are saved and leading people to Jesus is a great way to reflect God. Praying.

2. Fruits of the spirit is one thing Jesus said we could know if someone was truly saved or not. These reflect God. Walking in the spirit.
Galatians 5:22-23 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

3. Sometimes there are things that we are to do in secret so we don't come off as trying to show off as a Christian. Like fasting which is a good way to grow in the faith, or even just taking some time to privately pray with God (tho we can pray with others as well). These reflect God even when its just between you and Him.

4. The least of these in Matthew 25:31-46 are people in needy situations. Such as being hungry, thristy, sick, and poor (etc). Jesus has instructed us to care for them. Jesus said : Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me." So when we help those in need its like our service isn't just going to them its going to Christ.

There is so much more to reflect God, basically guard your heart (above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it) and live as God would want you to in a genuine honest way. If you are right with God on the inside things you start to do in your actions will reflect Him.

"For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the
unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;"
2 Corinthians 3:6 He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Jesus is the word of God, and so the old laws was the word of God and that is Jesus. And so Jesus had to die in the flesh so that we can perceive Him (The Word) in spirit which it is the true perception. The 24 Elders that are mentioned in Revelation represent the 24 book of the old testament (Torah). And we know whom are the 12 judges,; they are the ones that begotten the word in spirit. We are suppose to renew ourselves or rebirth, in order to understand the spiritual meaning, because perceiving from the natural aspect didn't had done much for us.

OK the main part I want to reach here is this.

Love God with all your heart soul and mind.
Love your neighbour as yourself.

If you were sick and you know your neighbour could lay hands on you and get you healed. What would you want your neighbour to do? Well you would want him to lay hands on you and get you well.

So you have to do unto other what you would have then do unto you.

If you are a Christian you are called to lay hands on the sick and get them healed.

So why dont you do this?
Have you tried it and failed?

He died for Love for sinners and for Loyalty to His Father in Heaven.

We should do the same, love everyone, forgive, repent, be loyal to our father in heaven, and spread His word.
