Jesus did not use those kind of words. But rather teaches us to walk by His faith working in us revealing His will

We walk by the Spirit that works in us . Words like "walk" (to understand) should be defined to new believers . Or words like prophecy or apostle. Many false doctrine arise because of the meaning of one word has been changed . not walking by the faith of Christ that indwells the believer.

Changing the meaning of the words would make the gospel without effect. Helps us understand if we are walking by faith understanding God not seen.

Walking is used that way throughout. The parable of the lame walking represent the unbelievers having no understanding as faithless prior to. Rise, hearing the gospel giving the power to understand. Ears to hear his understanding as two walking togethter in agreement ..

It would appear the metaphor (walk) was first used in the garden .This is when the most beautiful of all the messengers was made lame. On you belly crawl. Taking away the ability to make lame those who have not faith of Christ working in them .

Walk by faith the unseen eternal understanding. Then we will not have to crawl in the dust that was shook off the feet of the apostles.
The English word “walk” in our New Testament is a translation of the Greek word περιπατέω, which expresses the concept of walking—either literally or figuratively. It NEVER expresses the concept of “understanding”! When used figuratively, it expresses the concept of behaving oneself, either properly or improperly) as one goes about the business of living.

Rom. 13:13. Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarreling and jealousy. ESV

The Creation Story (Genesis 1-11) was written in a genre of literature in which metaphors were not used. Therefore, no metaphors are found in the Creation Story. Every word in the Creation Story is used literally rather than metaphorically. Moreover, the word “walk” is never used in the Creation Story!
