Friends,
Daniel 9:26-27 KJV:
"And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off,
but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall
come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end
thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war
desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the
covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the
week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease,
and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it
desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined
shall be poured out upon the desolate."

The New Covenant was to be confirmed for seven years. This
began in A.D. 27 and ended in A.D. 34; three and a half years
of Christ's earthly ministry, then Calvary ."... in the midst of
the week ...." , then three and a half years of Christ's ministry
from his Throne by the Holy Spirit, thus ending the seventy
week's 490 years ...."
Hebrews 2:9-13 KJV:
"But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the
angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and
honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for
every man. For it became him, for whom are all things, and
by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to
make the captain of their salvation perfect through
sufferings. For both he that sanctifieth and they who are
sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to
call them brethren, Saying, I will declare thy name unto my
brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto
thee. And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold
I and the children which God hath given me."

Jn. 10:24; Luke 13:32.
Note: Hebrews 2:12: Church, Ps. 22:22, fulfilled the
prophecy of it. Cf. Acts 7:28, "the church in the wilderness."
The Septuagint Greek Old Testament speaks of Old
Testament Israel as the Church about eighty times. The
Hebrew Old Testament word for Church is Qahal (Strong's
#6941 Heb)., which appears about 133 times. Deut. 23 deals
with persons excluded from the Old Testament Church.
Qahal, used in the Septuagint, Ekklesia (Strong's #1577
Grk.)."
