Yes, I understand what your and other posts are getting at, and it appears valid. I see that the advice given seems to have three dimensions to it. The first being the ability to distinguish the difference between what is right and wrong, the second is to work yourself into an environment where right would most likely dominate, the third is to flee/turn your back on wrong should it come your way irrespective. That does seem a valid strategy to me. Have I read that right?
One simple example, when go shopping in a grocery store, having a list of specific items of specific brand at hand and going straightforward to these items versus aimlessly wandering around and throwing any item that catches my eye into the cart. These temptations will always be there, but when I have that shopping list and know exactly what I am looking for, they won’t bother me anymore, ‘cause I won’t waste any time to check out every new and fancy item.
