If you could design your own personal, no-holds-barred Bible, (versions, notes, materials, layout, etc.), what would it be?
Mine would be...
Materials: Large, Medieval-style hardcover, 1800s vintage style, with heavy vellum-like paper.
Version: New King James, with Coverdale's Apocrypha & Psalter
Layout: Single-column, with verse numbers separated on the sides of the page
Notes: Glossa Ordinaria (English translation) and Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary
Extra Material: William Tyndale's introduction, coupled with individual book prologues and prefaces from Jerome and Wycliffe/Purvey, and an index with words keyed to Strong's Concordance + maps. Also a subsection with the books The Apostolic Fathers and the Diatessaron of Tatian
----------------
I know, never going to happen (it'd be massive!), but it's nice to dream! How about you?
