We know Genesis was written by Moses under the instruction of God because Moses never lived through the timeline of Genesis. Under the blessing of the twelve tribes, it was recorded that kingship shall come from Judah Tribe.
Genesis 49:9 Judah is a young lion— my son, you return from the prey. Like a lion he crouches and lies down; like a lioness, who dares to rouse him? 10 The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the staff from between his feet, until Shiloh comes and the allegiance of the nations is his.
Genesis 49:27 Benjamin is a ravenous wolf; in the morning he devours the prey, in the evening he divides the plunder.”
But, God later chose Saul from the Benjamin tribe. Isn't it then, Saul was chosen to fail?
Any thoughts?
