The sealing of the Spirit in Ephesians 1 is not the same as the spiritual baptism that places us in Christ spoken of in 1 Corinthians 12.
Notice the former is associated with the Holy Spirit of promise which relates it to Pentecost when Peter quoting Joel and received the promise of the Father that Jesus told the disciples to wait for in Jerusalem. It is an experiential event and easily noticeable to all in attendance. This makes sense because a seal is put on the outside of a letter to seal it.
The work of the Spirit placing the believer into Christ in 1 Corinthians 12 is nonexperiential and is a positional change that is represented in Romans 6 in our immersion into jesus' death, burial, and resurrection.
Good answer Cameron143, but what do you think causes that positional change to occur?

God the Holy Spirit chooses sovereignly to do this. I believe it happens simultaneously with regeneration.

Our first "intense moment of fellowship?"

The sealing of the Spirit in Ephesians 1 is not the same as the spiritual baptism that places us in Christ spoken of in 1 Corinthians 12. The sealing of the Spirit is associated with the Holy Spirit of promise, marking believers as God's divine possessions, who entirely and eternally belong to Him

. It is a guarantee of our inheritance and signifies security, authenticity, ownership, and authority

. On the other hand, the work of the Spirit placing the believer into Christ in 1 Corinthians 12 is nonexperiential and represents a positional change

. This distinction aligns with the biblical references in Ephesians 1:13 and 1 Corinthians 12, highlighting the unique aspects of the sealing of the Spirit and the spiritual baptism that places believers in Christ

The sealing of the Spirit is a significant event that occurs when a person believes in Christ. It is a mark of ownership and security, representing God's claim on believers as His own and guaranteeing their inheritance

. This sealing is not an experiential event but rather a spiritual reality that occurs at the moment of belief, signifying the believer's position in Christ and their eternal security

. On the other hand, the spiritual baptism mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12 signifies the believer's incorporation into the body of Christ, representing a positional change that unites them with Christ and other believers

In summary, the sealing of the Spirit in Ephesians 1 and the spiritual baptism in 1 Corinthians 12 are distinct aspects of the believer's relationship with God. The sealing of the Spirit represents ownership, security, and guarantee of inheritance, while the spiritual baptism signifies incorporation into Christ and His body. Both are essential components of the believer's identity and position in Christ, each serving a unique purpose in the life of a follower of Jesus.

They beytter be able to. Because if they di not. they will remain dead.

How do you call out when you are in trouble? Do you just sit their and wait?

Thats wrong

if they can not believe, they have no way to be saved.. Because they can not fulfill John 1, John 3, John 4, John 5, John 6 and so many other places where jesus said we must ask, recieve, or see and believe.
Do you believe everyone can choose to believe sound doctrine of Jesus Christ without denying any sound doctrine of Jesus Christ?

Don't understand your point.

It is God's requirement that those He saves spiritually hear the gospel and believe in Christ but their believing isn't what saves
it comes as a result of salvation. Being saved is first.

Look let's make this easy rather than having to respond to each of your points. I think what you are saying is that
to become saved someone has to first believe, and that it is up to the person to self-produce.
I, on the other hand, and given as we are saved by grace, believe there are no prerequisites to salvation
besides that God chose that person for it. All other attributes and characteristics accompanying salvation
flow from, and a byproduct of, salvation, and that they do not lead to salvation. Otherwise, it wouldn't be by grace.
You don’t understand the question did I need to be saved at any point ? Did you need to be saved ? Or were you always saved and didn’t need to be saved like Jesus said ?

My point is if we’re already saved beforehand we wouldnt need to be saved in the first place and hearing and believing the gospel could save no one ect ect

you realize believers heard and believed a promise from God they shall be saved , and then they are waiting for that to be fulfilled when he returns right ?

Salvation will be fulfilled this day

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:

and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭4:16-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

That’s when the promise we have now will be fulfilled this promise found in the gospel

“In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. ( we shall ever be with the lord )

And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. ( there is no other )

If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

…. Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:2-4, 6-7, 15-17, 20-21, 23-24‬ ‭

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭KJV‬

were gonna be saved from this which is the lake of fire John saw

“and to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; when he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe in that day.”

Your comments are very kind but what I generally find out is how little I actually know.
One small addition:
It is not necessarily the case that the two occur in unison. We see both occurring together with Cornelius and his household. But later in Acts Paul comes across a group and baptizes them again and the promise is given. My belief is that they were already saved. And the same was my experience having been saved for 5 years before experiencing the promise of the Father. And because teaching on the subject is poor and nonexistent, most people don't even know to ask or seek for it. There is a great book by Martyn Lloyd Jones on the subject called Joy Unspeakable for any interested.

Do you believe everyone can choose to believe sound doctrine of Jesus Christ without denying any sound doctrine of Jesus Christ?
The belief that everyone can choose to believe sound doctrine of Jesus Christ without denying any sound doctrine of Jesus Christ is a complex theological question that has been debated within Christian theology.

Are you aware of this?

The concept of sound doctrine is emphasized in the New Testament and is considered essential for the faith and practice of believers. Sound doctrine, or healthy teaching, is closely linked to the message of the gospel and the teachings of Jesus Christ. It serves as a safeguard against false teachings and provides a solid foundation for the Christian faith.

The importance of sound doctrine is highlighted in various biblical passages. For instance, in Titus 2:1, Paul instructs Titus to "teach what accords with sound doctrine" (ESV).

This indicates that sound doctrine is the standard for Christian teaching and should be upheld within the faith community. Additionally, 1 Timothy 4:16 urges believers to "watch [their] life and doctrine closely" and emphasizes the role of sound doctrine in saving both the believers and their hearers.

Furthermore, sound doctrine is essential because it reflects God's intent for His Word, judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart (Hebrews 4:12), and equips believers for every good work (2 Timothy 3:17). It also serves as a means of preserving the integrity of the gospel message and guarding against false teachings that can lead to spiritual harm.

While the New Testament underscores the significance of sound doctrine, the question of whether everyone can choose to believe sound doctrine without denying any part of it is a matter of individual interpretation and theological perspective. It involves considerations of human free will, the work of the Holy Spirit, and the nature of faith.

In conclusion, the concept of sound doctrine is deeply rooted in the New Testament and holds great importance in Christian theology. It serves as a standard for teaching, a safeguard against false doctrines, and a reflection of God's truth. The question of whether everyone can choose to believe sound doctrine without denying any part of it is a complex theological issue that requires careful consideration of biblical teachings, hermeneutics, and doctrinal frameworks. Different Christian traditions and theologians may offer varying perspectives on this matter.

There is a "works involved" before the fruits of the Spirit are evident in anyone's life. If a person does not crucify the flesh "daily," no one will see the fruits of love, peace, joy, kindness, etc. They will only see your selfish ways. So all this talk about the fruits of the Spirit means nothing if you're not constantly killing the flesh so the fruits can be seen. Paul said he crucified his flesh daily. That's a "work" involved in order so that God who is living inside him can be seen rather than Paul being seen.

He doesn't have a commentary on all of scriptures, but his works on Romans and Ephesians are remarkable. I believe most of his works are merely edited sermons as he preached expositorally through the Bible. Many consider his works on Romans to be the best available. I generally go first to Matthew Henry but that's mostly because someone blessed me with his commentary, but I do consider him very good.

Correct-and some here are going to balk against it-

Certain scripture references supporting the notion that there is a "works involved" before the fruits of the Spirit are evident in anyone's life include:

Galatians 5:16-17 (KJV): "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would." Here, Paul exhorts believers to walk in the Spirit instead of fulfilling the desires of the flesh. He acknowledges that the Spirit and the flesh are in opposition, implying that choosing to follow the Spirit leads to the production of the fruit of the Spirit.

Philippians 2:12-13 (KJV): "Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure." While this passage primarily speaks of working out one's salvation, it also suggests that believers must cooperate with the Holy Spirit in order to bear fruit.

Colossians 1:9-10 (KJV): "And from the day we heard it, we don't cease praying for you, and asking that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;" Here, Paul prays that the Colossian church might be filled with the knowledge of God's will and increase in the fruit of the Spirit. This verse highlights the connection between knowing God's will and producing good works.

John 15:1-8 (KJV): "I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit...If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love."

In this passage, Jesus connects bearing fruit to keeping His commands and remaining in His love. Believers who remain connected to Christ and obey His commands will bear fruit.

These verses support the idea that there is a "works involved" before the fruits of the Spirit are evident in anyone's life. These works involve walking by the Spirit, cooperating with the Holy Spirit, and following Christ's example. As believers strive to grow in their relationship with God, they will increasingly demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit in their lives.

They can balk but their answers also tell us who is showing the fruits of the Spirit to others in order for others to know they are of God. People say I am saved all of the time. But you watch them and you're like I don't want no part of that salvation if I end up like you. That's because they think God is going to exhume Himself beyond their natural human self. Not so, they are only going to see what is most important in a person's life, self. Those who truly are of God kill their flesh all of the time so others only see God.

Do you believe everyone can choose to believe sound doctrine of Jesus Christ without denying any sound doctrine of Jesus Christ?
It’s all true and at different points is when we need those things that seem to contradict sometimes a believer needs to hear “ your forgiven I love you son , just believe in me and you’ll be alright I’m with you “

At other times we need to hear “ son so you think you’re any different from any other sinner ? Unless you repent yoy also will perish
God saved you irrespective of anything you did or do. It was always (from before the foundation of the world) God's plan to save certain people. At a time of His choosing, He manifests that salvation unto them.

Absolutely correct.
“God saved you irrespective of anything you did or do. It was always (from before the foundation of the world) God's plan to save certain people. At a time of His choosing, He manifests that salvation unto them.

Yes I understand your theory there it doesn’t really make any sense to me I sort of look more to what the Bible explains and believe that stuff like for instance this

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

That’s why he came to call sinners to repentance so they don’t perish

“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭13:5‬ ‭

“I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭5:32‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It isn’t a work to hear and believe what Jesus preached it’s giving us the choice to live if we don’t reject it that is

If we start to accept the truth that we need to repent like he taught us it’s going to do this because we’re all caught in the trap before we acknolwedge the truth

“in meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

and that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2:25-26‬ ‭

“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:12-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Gods work in us is to change our mind and heart our Will from corrupt sinners to righteous children of God

about if we refuse to hear those parts that were taught bout things that were told by Jesus like “ if you don’t repent and believe the gospel you will perish “ then we’re never going to have that faith we’re gonna keep talking about “ doing nothing and saying we’re saved by faith “

those things we accept or reject is creating what we believe I believe the things Jesus taught and lol it isn’t a self work to her what Jesus said and believe it if we do we’re going to believe that way like we need to repent , like we need to start living other people in deed and truth or like these simple things that folks reject as some form of self salvstion

The reason I can’t really keep eating time is you’ll reject anything like this because it’s telling us we have to do something

“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: but if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:14-15‬ ‭

I dont reject that I believe Jesus taught the truth so I believe that way and then turns out I will never hold a grudge and forgive as soon as I possibly am able because I believe that thing Jesus my lord taught

i don’t reject it saying “ that’s a work we’re not saved by works thats false works gospel ect ect I’m a believer in him who taught it clearly and plainly and repetitively so I believe that and that’s what I’ll expect to face when I face him like we all have to do because he said it and then said believe it …..

we need to believe what God said and follow after that belief that’s what faith is

Do you believe God loves the unrepentant sinners who are in hell?

I believe what the Word says, that Christ died for sinners, that He loves the sinner yet cannot tolerate sin and He wishes none would go to hell. God loves the sinner, He is married to the backslider. You want to see how far God's grace goes, look at the Jews. To this day God is calling them to repent and come home.
