I believe God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son... How does God stop loving the world so (here, the term 'so' referring back to how He loves the world).

So you do believe God hates unrepentant sinners who are in hell.
Yes He does, He surely didnt Love them and then threw them in Hell. If Christ Loved them He is their Saviour who died for them and gives them both repentance and forgiveness of sins Acts 5:31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Without your reaction ? Thats your condition then. Some call it faith, some repentance, some believing, still a condition, thats works
The people of acts were cut to the heart. And recieved the words of Peter. They repented and were saved.

Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him as righteousness.

We are saved by this same faith.

Its not a condition per say.

when a rescuer comes to rescue you from a fire where you are physically trapped and unable to save yourself. You do not save yourself by recieving his offer of salvation And doing what he says in faith. He saved you

But you can reject his offer of salvation in pride. And suffer your fate that was going to happen anyway because you were unable to save yourself.

World

cosmos

satan‘s world, satans kingdom, the earth and all who inhabit it.
So is the world in Jn 3:16 the same world in Jn 17:9

9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

Yes or no please

Yes,

so that whoever in that world believes will not perish, and live forever.

God came into the world to save sinners

God said the gates of hell will not prevail aganst the church, we will go into the world

God told us to go into the world and make disciples of everyone

Yes, he is not praying for those who chose to follow the world system,

He is praying for those who through faith are rescued from the world.

I dont believe you. Christ would never refuse to pray for a world He died for.

Faith is a work if you are not talking about faith given in regeneration, a fruit of the Spirit. But if you faith by the unregenerate person, its a law work

Matt 23:23
23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

So do you mean faith of regeneration or required faith of the law ?
I mean Faith necessary for Salvation. In the Scripture you quoted "judgement, mercy, faith" are not works of the Law but rather moral righteousness.

I know that, but what Faith ? Is it mans faith a duty under the law Matt 23 or the Faith which is the fruit of the Spirit, regeneration.
