I said, and you quoted it already.

If you do not do you are either not listening, which doesn't mean you're not a hearer just only not listening.
And I said if you're are listening but not doing then you are just choosing to reject God.
Either way, you make the choice.
So you don't believe hearing has any relationship to understanding, biblically speaking?

The sheep do the good works they were created to do. :)

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

I believe those choosing not to listen or obey do so because that's what they want to do.

I know some think any type of work is a sin. So even if God begged them to to help someone they will always reject God.

Matthew 7 completely defines these types of people. They claim to know God but never do His Will and wonder why in the end they get rejected by God.

The poster said they, but if it makes you feel better, I'm sure you were included.
Yeah, I could be wrong, but I think the "they" may have been an attempt to be diplomatic. Given that his salvation gospel is based upon one's works, I would actually consider it a badge of honor were it directed to me, or I included in it, given that I trust solely in Christ alone without any of my works for justification and salvation.

God created ALL humans.
To think that when God speaks that a human cannot hear, Knowing that God knows how to speak to dead people, just shows the ignorance of some claiming to be Christian.

Too bad for you. You are trusting in yourself for salvation. That is all you have left to do, Unless you repent.

Matthew 16:27
For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels: and then will he render to every man according to his works.

Wait. Did you actually read my post? I am not trusting in myself; I am trusting in Christ. I said the exact opposite of what you said above. Don't you trust alone in Christ and His offering for salvation?
BTW, the "his works" are Christ's works. If someone wants to be justified by their works, they will need to be the equal
of Christ's works to not be found guilty.

Agree with your first statement.

What people are objecting to is not works, but works as a means to salvation. Once someone is saved, their works actually evidence their salvation. The lack of works for someone claiming to be saved may well be an evidence of the lack of salvation.

Those in Matthew 7 actually had a large number of works. Their problem was that they had no relationship with Christ...I never knew you.

Didn't Jesus speak in parables so some would not understand?

I am not even talking about salvation. Just general day to day Christian life.

Their works were not done by hearing God to do them. Those are just works done thinking it will benefit them.
