Every act of freedom involves limitation. If I freely choose to do X, I must freely limit myself to doing X and not Y, Z, A, B. C.... You seem to be confusing freedom with an omnipotent ability to do all possible options at once.
Freedom makes all choices possible, not having to make all choices.
At any rate, thanks for the discussion. I appreciate what you have shared and the time expended to do so.

"Wrath" is not the Terror of the Lord.

And if you're insinuating that I do not possess Forgiveness, well then, you are the Judge and that's fine with me.
One is a reaction of the Other. But to fear God with [Terror] means there's an element of Wrath [Anger] not far behind.

To fear God in Reverence is totally different.

If you cannot refute the argument, it remains a valid and solid argument, and that means that you must concede that your position is only one of several valid and sound perspectives on scripture. And if you have not been able adequately to defend your claim abainst my defeaters, I may conclude that your position is weak and merely your preference for emotional rather than logical reasons..
You can do as you choose. It doesn't mean what I said isn't true. Again, thanks.

I believe men have the capacity to choose as they like. I do not believe they have the capability to bring all their choices to fruition.
Us humans having a free-will does not mean we have total control over all circumstances in this life.

Matthew 5:45
That you may be the children of your Father who is in heaven, who maketh his sun to rise upon the good, and bad, and raineth upon the just and the unjust.

The "calvinist" concept is biblical as I defined the adjective "sovereign" yesterday (cf. Isa 57:15: Ex 15:1; Job 36:22: ps 46:10, etc., etc. The term "exalted" alone is found 59 times in the OT alone. Also, we shouldn't forget that none of God's creatures can compare to him. HE is the Incomparable One (Isa 40:25; 46:5).
Make your argument using only Biblical terms from biblical texts. Don't try to smuggle unbiblical terms into the Bible by employing premises that are not biblical to reason your way to a claim that you may substitute your terms defined your way for biblical terms that mean something else in scripture. .

You have freedom to choose as you see fit. If you want to call that freewill, I'm OK with that.

No. Because they are what they are. Jesus didn't come to change the lost goats of the house of Israel into sheep. He came to seek and to save the lost sheep.
Wheat is wheat. Tares are tares. No where does Jesus say He will change tares into wheat. He merely says wait to gather it.
31 "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.
32 "All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.
33 "And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
The sheep nations/peoples:
34 "Then the King will say to those on His right hand,` Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 `for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;
36 `I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.'
37 "Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, `Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?
38 `When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You?
39 `Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?'
40 "And the King will answer and say to them, `Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.'
The goats nations/peoples:
41 "Then He will also say to those on the left hand, `Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 `for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink;
43 `I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.'
44 "Then they also will answer Him1, saying, `Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?'
45 "Then He will answer them, saying, `Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.'
46 "And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life." (Matt. 25:31-46 NKJ)

The analogy is about nations - people - who made choices and did or did not do things pursuant to those choices.

It seems to me the sheep (people) chose to be sheep when they chose to do and did things for Jesus' brethren.

It seems to me the goat (people) chose to be goats when they chose to not do things for Jesus' brethren.

The problem with these analogies of "kinds" is that they neglect to understand that man is a special "kind" who has been created to reason and make choices - both good and bad ones.

And in this analogy they freely chose to do things and brought to pass what they chose to do.

All that is consistent with what you believe. But your conclusion is assumed.
I appreciate the discussion and your time. Thanks.

So, you intend to turn back from pursuing this debates course to wherever the facts lead, and you are choosing to stop at this particular look out, and then return home to start tomorrow from the exact starting point that was not able to get you today to the destination of wherever the facts lead.

Jesus came to change vessels of wrath into vessels of mercy. He came to change children of Satan to children of God.

Lost sheep into found sheep, goats into sheep.... how hard can that be for God, compared to the above.

And I find it confusing that you believe free has limitations.

I find it interesting that one would think freedom does not have limitations:

13 For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty (freedom) as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. (Gal. 5:13 NKJ)

9 But beware lest somehow this liberty (authority/freedom of choice) of yours become a stumbling block to those who are weak. (1 Cor. 8:9 NKJ)

When did Southern Baptist change?
I have been around for quite some time, and I would never put them in the same category as reformed. For the most part I would say they would have a works based belief. They would never confess belief in what the Heidelberg Catechism, Westminster Confession, or Canons of Dort proclaim as biblical teaching! Were they to study these works, there would be many areas of conflict.
Perhaps you are confusing them with some Reformed Baptist Church. There are some of those, but they are not SBC.
