in context to John 3:16, the word World means Cosmo in Greek. Now Jesus was slain from the Foundation of the World Meaning.

God plans to save man and those in the world whom he created. Before man fell. God knew what he was going to do to save man and HE moved heaven and earth to do it.
I gave the same/similar answer and 20 pages of what a moron I am took place.
Thank God you KNOW the TRUTH!

Yup, that's what I meant too - that when we become saved, through God, we no longer place our trust in our works for salvation, but
completely in Christ as Saviour, or, did I misunderstand your point?
Yep, only the unredeemed cursed will continue to trust in the law or works, or some kind of condition Gal 3:10

For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

But Thankfully for those whom Christ died, He redeemed them FROM that curse Gal 3:13-14

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith/Christ.

Do you think Jesus died for the sins of the Universe like the Greek claims?

Do you think this verse is about sinners rejecting God?
48 The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day
Jesus Christ died on the cross for all sins. Jesus Christ did not die on the cross for the nonelect.

Why would a Loving God not die for all human beings that He personally created?
David explains, You formed my innermost being, shaping my delicate inside and my intricate outside, and wove them all together in my mother's womb.

God Himself proclaimed, 32 For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Lord GOD; turn, and live.

His prerogative to do so. And God doesnt love every human being. Did He Love the human being esau ? Rom 9:13

13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

See the but contrast ?

Does He love the workers of iniquity here Ps 5:5

5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

Revelation 21:27
There shall not enter into it any thing defiled, or that worketh abomination or maketh a lie, but they that are written in the book of life of the Lamb
This includes Christians that do not confess and forsake their sin as they never were cleansed of the new sins they did after getting born again. Sad indeed.

Proverbs 28:13
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Romans 8:13
For if you live according to flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

He probably doesn't love you... the Lord hates calvinists because they teach false doctrine that leads people away from Him just like the pharisees and sadducees
Whether He loves me or not, is for me to know and you to find out in the day of Judgment, that said, its a lie to say God loved every human being.

False witness, Believers in Christ dont have their sins charged to them.

2 Cor 5:18-19

18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

They are covered by the promises of the New Covenant Mercies Heb 8:11-13

11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

That's heresy from calvin who was taught of the devil.

It's sad that you think you are better than everyone else. Teaching false doctrine DISQUALIFIES you from entering God's Kingdom so you'd better repent of this heresy and shape up before it's too late.

Limited Atonement is FALSE DOCTRONE Holms!

The Father sovereignly decided to make man in His own Image which is why all men have free will. He said in His Word than we are predestined to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ (Romans 8:29), and we are to be followers of God as dear children (Ephesians 5:1)

God's Word says man is without excuse (Romans 1:20), the grace that brings salvation has come upon all men (Titus 2:11-13)

God's Word says it's not God's will that any perish and He wants all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), and He has commanded men everywhere to repent (Acts 17:30), and has given every man faith (Romans 12:3)

Jesus said if He be lifted up He would draw all men until Himself (John 12:32), and Jesus has tasted of death for every man (Hebrews 2:9)

In light of all these scriptures, we can say for sure that limited atonement taught by John Calvin is false doctrine and is in opposition to what God says.

Romans 8:29,30
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Ephesians 5:1
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children

Romans 1:19-21
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Titus 2:11,12
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Acts 17:30
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

John 12:32
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

Hebrews 2:9
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 12:3
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Believers in Christ dont have their sins charged to them.
That's one of satan's favorite lies, to get you to believe you can live in sin and still be right with the Lord.

Galatians 6:7-8 (see Gen 8:22)
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

God gave man free will... if man chooses to turn and walk away from the Lord, God will let them do so.

Romans 1:28
they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do what ought not to be done

The gifts and callings of God are without repentance which means God cannot violate our free will and save us anyway IF we choose to go back to our sin which is living in darkness. In God there is NO darkness. (1 John 1:5)

This is a major biblical truth the OSAS crowd always explains away or denies is simply this... God is NOT mocked, what we sow is what we reap - if we sow to the flesh we shall of the flesh reap corruption. (Gal 6:7,8)

In Gal 6:8, the word corruption is...

G5356
fthora from G5351; decay, i.e. ruin -- corruption, destroy, perish.
G5351
strengthened from phthio (to pine or waste); properly, to shrivel or wither, i.e. to spoil or to ruin, by moral influences, to deprave): -- corrupt (self), defile, destroy.

If one claims we DO reap corruption when we sin, then they are admitting they do not believe OSAS / Eternal security doctrine (and sadly many of their friends will forsake them!).... and if one claims we DO NOT reap what we sow, then according to Gal 6:7, that would be mocking God!

Adam and Eve were given eternal life by the Lord when He created them... but when they sinned against God they became corrupt and died spiritually and became separated from God. So Gal 6:7,8 is quite the quandary, quite the state of uncertainty and perplexity for the adherents of OSAS doctrine.
