Romans 9:30-32
30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.
31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;

Which one of these is Lawless???? The gentile, who has attained RIGHTEOUSNESS through faith in Christ?

Or the jew who works at the law but hasn't attained to Righteousness?

Just because a person works at the law that doesn't make them "law keepers".

Just because a person doesn't work at the law doesn't necessarily make them lawless.

I really don't understand the Judaizer and legalist pushing so hard for everyone to work at the law when it is so obvious that Christians follow a BETTER WAY.

2 Corinthians 3:7-9
7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:

8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?

9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.

Those who are following the letter are following the ministration of death.

Those who are following the spirit are following the ministration of Righteousness.

Galatians 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

You are citing scripture that you do not understand. There is so much more to the verses that you can see that all I can say is go back and read Hosea to get a deeper understanding of what Paul is saying. Until then your words are out of context and without meaning.

Can you explain them to him, or what you see, instead of making a flat out accusation with no proof or evidence to back your viewpoint?

What amazes me is why you think you can WATER down the law. and claim to be a follower of the law. or of Jesus.

In fact, it sort of mocks and is disrespectful to Christ is it not? He came fulfill the law in your place. by taking the curse of the law you have earned and continue to earn by your actions. Yet you claim even today, You can keep the law?

You can no more keep the law than the jews who rejected Jesus, who thought the law is what made them righteous, and separated them from the dirty Gentiles. The same law they thought MADE then children of God. And the same law that made them think Christ was an impostor and false teacher

But hey, if you want to do that, Instead of trying to find out what REALLY empowers you to obey Gods commands, and makes you a righteous person. Well feel free.

Me? My life is to important and God is to important and his will is to important for me to go BACK to what can only condemn me, and at best, give me a false hope and false sense of how morally good I really am, Because I need and desire to be used by God, in order to do that, I have to act like Christ.
You think you act like Christ? WoW.

if you want to expose sin, I will be right there with you, Sin is sin is sin, No matter what that sin is

But would you not want to also discuss HOW we break the mold or power of those sins?
That's the "easy" part!
1 Peter 2
5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

The hard part is that that is something one has to do for oneself! I can testify, and witness, that it does happen. I can testify and witness a deeper understanding concerning "the Word of God." Still, of all the things I can do and testify and bare witness to? I CANNOT "do it FOR you!"

One has to allow oneself for God to "put you in His smelter", so to speak. I know this "illustration", does not truly represent what really happens. Although this same "process" is described in several different ways throughout the entire Bible.

And after that? One has to allow for God to PROOF you! Where, and when one finds out, not only how deep one's roots are "in love?" But, also the rest of the "fruit of the Spirit!"
God is trying oh so hard in His refining of one to "close the breaches", so the birds aren't able to whisk it away.
Where the thorns and thistles aren't able to "choke" His Word. Where "the way" is not able in simply "walking over" His Word, unheeded, and unheard.

But, in being a good and responsible "tiller of the ground?" It requires EFFORT/S! These "thorns and thistles?" Are "put there", for a "reason!" The "way"? The "birds?" Same same!
YOU have to remove 'em! MAKE the "ground" GOOD!

God gave us a "gift", promising an "everlasting" salvation by His grace through faith in not just Jesus Christ. But, becoming a "joint heir" WITH Christ, and obtaining an ETERNAL salvation! FROM He who SENT Jesus Christ!

Maybe I’m wrong. I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t see much talk about grace from those who are intrinsically focused on the law. 🤷‍♂️
The problem is there is a big divide on how we view the commandments of Jesus Christ. If we avoided the subject of works and just talked about grace we`d be fine. Uhh probably. LOL! But conversation on grace doesn`t take place because of other disagreement.
I can go to a lot of different churches and just focus on the basics which is grace and be in perfect harmony and agreement. Many churches, many denominations I have visited and considered them brethren and enjoyed fellowship with.

1. Seek after the things of the spirit and you WILL NOT Fulfill the lust of the flesh
2. Love the lord your God with all your heart mind and soul, and love your neighbor as yourself.
3. Produce the fruit of the spirit, against which there is no law.

And yes, it does take some effort. But it does and should not take alot of effort. Because God promised he would give us rest. So whose power do we rely on? The power of God, Who LOVED US, and because our ABBA father, or the law. which takes great effort. and even then you can not fulfill it as required.

Remember, God told us to sit in his work, to stand on his promises, and to walk according to his guidance by putting on the whole armor of God so you can withstand the spiritual forces who are out to destroy you (see the book of ephesians)

do you disagree with anything I have said?

Nah,

It is a sacrifice to learn to love others more than yourself you have t give up your own desires and your own needs. and rely on God to take care of you while you focus on loving others.

Keep it up dude, Your makin git easy to prove just how ignorant you are of my belief system!

Question.

A person wakes up Thanks God for another day, Spends his day looking for people to LOVE and to SERVE, (His family his coworkers, his customers, his neighbors) And looks for ways in which he feels God love which is poured out on him this day, so that he can love others even more

Is that person going to be one who obeys Gods commands, Or one who is a command breaker?
@RickStudies @SimpleGardner @NayborBear and all the other lawyers here

Why have you not answered this question? Are you afraid you may have to admit i preach obedience and I know the way to true moral living, and all your lies about me hating Gods law and loving sin is in error?

There is no forgiveness under the law. The driver is condemned by the law.

This scripture from Revelation 12 describes the dragon going out to make war with God`s remnant people. According to the verse they are obeying God`s commandments/keeping Law and they have Jesus as well.

17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

This is near the end of this age, why are they keeping Law/Commandments of God?

Why do they keep the commands? What are they doing that other people are not?

is that descriptive or prescriptive?

and it describes the dragon who wants to war with Israel. But God is protecting her, So the dragon give up and goes after her offspring, Which are those who keep his commands, (the church)

it does not say they KEEP THE LAW.. HUGE DIFFERENCE!

by the way, What does this have to do with my example of a person who wakes up loving God, grateful, Goes through his day serving God and finding out who he can serve in love?

Keeping the commandments of God = obeying His Laws. It says they obey Yahweh`s commandments and have the testimony of Jesus Christ ( His testament)

This is the tribulation period, but regardless of that, these are people like you and me who follow the teaching of Jesus, but not Old Testament law.
