As far as I can remember I'm not one of the scattered sheep. The best words I can think of to describe myself is "a former unbeliever".
God knows. Before coming to Christ, isn't everyone? But with the Abrahamic Covenant " his descendants would be like the dust or stars, unable to number, statistically speaking, chances are you are a sheep than not. Just sayin...

The most interesting discovery when you read the scripture on your own is, not only the resurrected Christ NOT tell the 11 that the law of Moses is nailed to the cross, he continue to tell them in the Matthew version of the great commission, to teach all to obey everything he had commanded them. And yes, he commanded them to follow the law of Moses too in Matthew 5.

So the idea that the law of Moses was done away with, immediately after he has died and resurrected, is not scriptural. It is a result of people reading Paul into the 4 gospels.
Reading Paul into the scriptures. What's that?

The ceremonial laws, non judgeable as shadows pointed ahead to suffering savior beforehand as to its unseen glory .the opening of the gates the first resurrection as a continue staying open until the las tday . Those shadows were fulfilled when Christ said the words .."It is finished" .

Searching what, or what manner of time the
Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. 1Peter1:11

Previously when there were kings in Israel. This was because God had given over the apostate Jews to do what they should not of. Setting up a pagan form of government as a result of their jealousy of the surrounding pagan nations. . The abomination of desolation. It removed the faith principle. . giving the illusion as if the kingdom did come by observation.

Christ had set aside that time period used as a parable, signified by the things seen.

Women previously were not allowed to participate in the ceremonial laws with men. There was a high wall (15 feet ) to prevent them from participating . And another level for the gentiles who also could not participate.

The time of reformation had come. The shadows became sight .The use of Jewish flesh to represent all of mankind had come to a end

The new ordinances as a shadow united men and woman , Jew and gentile. It was established as one new ceremonial law called the hair or head ordinance mixed with the breaking of bread, drinking of the blood of grapes ceremony .

It was a time of great tribulation for the Jew. . none like ever before or ever again. They trusted Jewish flesh could profit even though even Jesus said his profits not. . It is still having its effect today .

The kingdom was resorted to the time period of Judges when God not seen by faith reigned from heaven as he does today. No outward representative. We walk by faith just as in the period of Judges. .

I believe Paul was using the word "gentiles", as a "marker." For reason of denoting the difference between Those who were Jew, and those who were not.
A problem I have is the term Jew and its "improper" usage. It seems to be used for the whole nation of Israel, (which I just came to learn recently) not just the "house of Judah" or the southern kingdom . Also "called" a Jew was a resident, no matter where from. Also a Jew, or one who called himself one, but actually of the synagogue of Satan.

It is like the law. The old and new Covenants so different yet many times both just referred to as the law, hence the arguing of apples vs oranges.

It makes me think of Cains lineage, and how many names the same, just to set about confusion. I think by our lack of specificity??? is that a word??? specific-ness, or put another way, laziness, we are, by not being specific with our terms, causing problems ourselves. IDK. I just think the "division" that Jesus came to abolish by making us all one in Him, is getting lost through "the letter" and by not using the spirit of truth. God says "my people are foolish". Don't we just keep proving that right.

No matter what God does, Satan is hard core doing his best to make sure he keeps as many as he can from HIM. This dividing of the NT now.

What are we told about a house divided? Right there in the book being divided. What???

What are we told about no one being any different in Christ, Him breaking down the wall of division, yet right here in this forum you can't even get someone to say " Yes I am a Christian", a follower of Christ, made one in Christ, A Spiritual being, dead to the flesh. Well I think if you are dead to the flesh it doesn't matter WHERE you came from or HOW you were called. Done

If you admit you cannot keep the law, then what is the alternative, other than condemnation?

And don't say love.
The alternative Is to call on GOD not on man because man can't make the spirit perfect.

Many that TRY to keep the law are really saying your sin Is bigger than my sin which would be true according to the flesh man but not according to the SPIRIT of GOD.

Bearing in mind we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God, what would you ask God to do if you did call on Him?

Can we "call" that last statement "traditions of man", as taught by "precepts of men", as "they" are "called/taught", in the Bible? :)

There were no Christians until Paul in Antioch.

The term Christian most certainly did not exist in the 4 Gospels. There were only Jews and Gentiles.
Paul admit he was a Roman.
Act 22:25-27 KJV 25 And as they bound him with thongs, Paul said unto the centurion that stood by, Is it lawful for you to scourge a man that is a Roman, and uncondemned? 26 When the centurion heard that, he went and told the chief captain, saying, Take heed what thou doest: for this man is a Roman. 27 Then the chief captain came, and said unto him, Tell me, art thou a Roman? He said, Yea.

Malachi 4:1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

Malachi 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

Malachi 4:3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

Malachi 4:4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.

Malachi 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

Malachi 4:6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

John 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
John 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
John 8:45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

seriously?I would ask HIM to save me because I can't keep HIS perfect standard of righteousness(The Law)In my own strength perfectly.

Sidenote:when I say perfectly I'm talking about your thoughts which no man can read your thoughts.A person might think right a lot but not flawlessly every time. But when a person Is not under law they are receiving sustenance from the VINE and displaying spiritual fruit establishing the law.
All the prophets and the law are summed up In one word, love.

Then you are not under law. You have been freed, saved from the consequences of the law, sin and death.

In your case the law has been abolished, but not for others.

Are you talking about the idea of kind of secret Israelites mixed in with the gentiles? They are under the covenant of Abraham, but only God knows who they are?

I think it says somewhere that a person has to be circumcised to be part of the abrahamic covenant.

So if Israelites were taken captive, and then especially if they migrated North into Europe, after a generation or two of not being circumcised, they would no longer be under the covenant of Abraham, would they?

Does that make sense?

You didn't answer my question.
No. We do not do such things. We are Christians not Jews. I hope you have read and understood my response/post to you.

So did Jesus ever tell us (Christians) that we no longer have to keep the law (for the Jews) of Moses? Please show us your stance here using the scriptures as some here are doing. Don't worry Bro, we will not trample them under foot as some here also do with scriptures while exalting their own words..

The Man of Lawlessness

Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come. Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God. Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

The word/s of the Master is a law to His servants, written on their hearts.

Confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and walk in Love.

GOD IS good and His LOVE endures forever. Amen
