"You raise an interesting point though: Why didn't Jesus or other writers of Scripture clearly say things that would make most of CC moot: such as "abortion is wrong except to save the life of the mother" or "all killing is wrong, even in self-defense" or "predestination means that God is NOT all-loving but rather determined from the beginning to condemn most of humanity to hell" or "there will be no rapture" or "the human soul includes a body and a spirit" or "the Sabbath law including killing those who break it is still in force"; things like that!"

the essential and non essentials and the standard of Gods holiness context to sin the very act is called sin because it is looked at in the light of the word of God.

The word abortion is not in the bible, yet God hates Child sacrifice and judges it. Man Morality is not able to question God's actions.

we see wars in the word od God to defend oneself and nation. Sin produces killing and war.

"predestination means that God is NOT all-loving but rather determined from the beginning to condemn most of humanity to hell" or "there will be no rapture" or "the human soul includes a body and a spirit" or "the Sabbath law including killing those who break it is still in force"; things like that!"

Whether they believe in the rapture or not, this nonessential meaning has no relevance to one's salvation.

Ther Law of God are moral , Civll and cermonial. You have to know the difference.

Yet sin which is many does not have to all be listed as sin because the very act in the light of Scriputre proves they are sin and should not be done.

DUI
abortion
homosexuality LGBTQ
cheating on taxes

The action is not praiseworthy, and we are to shun the very presence of evil. Knowing context will help to see that. Fools say

Abortion for the life of the Mother. That is not abortion by definition. That is what doctors are to do save the life, yet those who say rape, incest, and the life of the mother refuse to address the racism of Planned Parenthood which was created to kill Black Americans
64million abortions, not even 1 % was done under those talking points people who like to shout. Truth matters

I agree with what you said, but now I will take a stab at answering the questions:

1. Why didn't Jesus or other writers of Scripture clearly say "abortion is wrong except to save the life of the mother"?

It appears that they only addressed matters that made sense in their culture, and perhaps abortion was not practiced in theirs. However, the law against murder and right reasoning should be sufficient for truthseekers to realize that abortion is akin to murder, so abstinence is the best birth control method, and if one does not have the gift of celibacy, then he should seek a "cold shower" solution.

2. Why didn't Jesus or other writers of Scripture clearly say "all killing is wrong, even in self-defense" ?

Since killing was common in their culture, then the logical reason they did not condemn it categorically must be because it is permissible or even right in certain circumstances, such as self-defense or to save the life of a mother or to punish murderers.

3. Why didn't Jesus or other writers of Scripture clearly say "predestination means that God is NOT all-loving but rather determined from the beginning to condemn most of humanity to hell" ?

Because God IS all-loving and wants everyone to be saved and reflect His love, but do so truly as gratitude for His grace rather than because He programmed or imputed their souls with the appearance of love as AI does--and God grieves over every soul that chooses to hate Him.

4. Why didn't Jesus or other writers of Scripture clearly say "there will be no rapture" ?

Because there WILL BE a rapture per 1CR 15:51-52 (cf. 2CR 5:4).

5. Why didn't Jesus or other writers of Scripture clearly say "the human soul includes a body and a spirit" ?

Perhaps because they considered GN 2:7 to be sufficient, "The Lord God formed a man/body from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath/spirit of life, and man became a living being/soul." (Cf. HB 4:12)

6. Why didn't Jesus or other writers of Scripture clearly say "the Sabbath law including killing those who break it is still in force"?

Because Jesus viewed commanding good works to be done every day (MT 12:12) and inspiring Paul to say resting on the Sabbath is optional (CL 2:16) to be clear enough for anyone open to His Gospel.

*Ding*

The objective a such a surgery is not to terminate/abort a life. Yet people do not catch on.... no doubt the blanket use of this terminology by the enemy is intentional. This is the abortion "city wall" that if it were to crumble, abortionists would be defenseless.

sin produced killing. Murder is the shed of innocent blood, and God did address it in the word of God, and he hates it. Jesus did not have to address the action of abortion; homosexuality war killing the Law did that. And by that law, all deserve death.

Jesus paid the penalty for all sins. and cultures.

Yes, but it would have been clearer if Jesus had said "Abortion is murder."

that is not true. People know the law very well that adultery is a sin. In each person, there is the knowledge of right and wrong.

Jesus did not have to address it. The very action testifies to it being a sin. Listen to any woman who has an abortion out of convenience without the doctor saying having the child will cause them to lose their life is not abortion by definition. a Perverted mind questions the Morality of GOD. Listen, women and men do what they want to do and try to make God endorse it.

Roman chapter 1 is very clear.

NLT:

18 But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness.

19 They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them.

20 For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.

21 Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused.

22 Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools. 23 And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles.

24 So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired.
As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies.

25 They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen.

26 That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other.
27 And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved.

Who are you and I to tell God he could have been clearer?
A man having sex with a man is against the very nature of man who God created. It is self-evident. Only one who creates wickedness (please do a study on that word)
willing to allow sin to rule them will do more detestable things and abomination with the action of sin. Things God Himself did not even want to say caused him to judge a nation.

Regarding "People know the law very well that adultery is a sin. In each person, there is the knowledge of right and wrong.": This confused me. Did you mean "abortion" instead adultery?

No, I mean both and "sin." The difference between adultery and abortion is one is named, and the other is not, but both are sins because of the root action that they do.

Example: A godly mindset sees the word of God and knows that fornication is a sin, which is having sex outside of marriage. Therefore, you do not need God to say having sex with children is a sin or do not do it. Child sacrifices God hates and punishes. We see this in the word of God. So killing a baby in the womb before it is born is just as sinful as waiting until it is born and burning it to the god of Baal.

Okay, but regarding abortion there are probably many like I was who grew up ignorant of fetal development and never really contemplated the issue of murder until I was confronted with two photos: one of a healthy 7-month-old premie outside the womb and the other of a healthy 7-month-old fetus inside the womb. That got me thinking...

OP you didn't backup what you said with scripture which in this case is really needed. Luke 11 13 is simple. Not sure why some will read John 3:16-17 and will do that confess Christ as lord (PRAISE GOD) yet will read Luke 11:13 and not do that. God said it. We know we can be saved yet not receive the sweet holy Spirit. The 120+ are a great example of this. All were saved yet waiting for that promise. Peter after.. be saved and receive the gift of the sweet holy Spirit.

I don't see baptized and filled as different. Yeah Christ left Him with us forever. Then 10 pages on this.. oh so much confusing.

For me its real simple.. don't believe me.. don't take my word for anything. You read John 3 16-17 you read Luke 11 13... and that's it. Me GIVE ME the holy Spirit Father.. thank you for giving Him. I believe in Yeshua/Jesus Christ who came in the flesh died on the cross for the worlds in was buried rose the 3rd day the only way to the Father. IF He is so real.. He will do what He said

If today one doesn't understand what I learned in sex ed class in the 1980s and much more is taught today, that is a really unbelievable statement to say. what you are saying, I agree in the context of reaching young mothers who have been given wrong information about abortion and make a decision based on only what was forced upon them. There is no right to choose if there is only one choice.

There are ministers where they are helping young mothers listen to the heartbeat of their unborn children before they get an abortion. Many of the moms chose not to abort after hearing it. In addition, there are free programs that help new mothers, such as diapers, formula, and baby care training. All of these things when a woman has this support and knowledge of it, they will choose life over abortion. But lying and making up a false narrative to justify sin will not work with GOD.

I don't know but given the immorality of many currently, I would not be surprised if sex ed classes focused more on how to have safe sex with someone of the same sex more than on the humanity of fetuses--feti?

The point is, my friend, 99.9% know that having sex between a man and a woman can produce children.

The word "fetus" comes from the Latin word fētus, which means "offspring, i.e., baby, child. The Romans chapter one applies here.

Then, hold the truth hostage so they can keep doing the thing they will not stop doing. No one on that day can reason with God on this issue. His opinion has not changed. Ignorance is no excuse. Unless you have a cognitive issue below the age of accountability, you know right from wrong.

Even children see transgender men and know there is something not right. It is self-evident.

If you see this and say, that's normal or okay, you have a darkened mind.
