Angels appeared in Genesis many times as well. Two angels destroyed Sodem and Gomorah. The original location of these cities are still covered with salt.

Acts 9

10Now there was a disciple at Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision, “Ananias.” And he said, “Here I am, Lord.” 11And the Lord said to him,

***

No that was Jesus.
Good one, thanks for the reminder.

The body contains your bones, heart and brain. Whereas your Soul contains your spirit, mind and personality.
The soul is your mind, will, intellect, passions, desires, emotions

The flesh is your body suit with bones, organs, etc

The spirit is the real you, the inner man

We are a spirit that has a soul and lives in a body.

All of them really. When I read through Acts I at times wonder why I/we as a church don't see much interaction with angels as they did. The only time I really hear of it is when friends of mine have gone into places of heavy persecution where they see this kind of happening, regularly.

Also Hebrews states:

Therefore, angels are only servants—spirits sent to care for people who will inherit salvation.
Hebrews 1:14 NLT

So I'm careful not to write off angelic encounters, and I don't believe people who take notice of the encounters are worshipping the angels, it would be an extra-ordinary experience I think if an angel appeared before me lol

Oh and didn't an angel also speak to the guy who would take Saul in when he was blinded?
There are angels and the there is the angel of the Lord, which is a theophany of Jesus Christ

The soul is the meeting point; here the spirit and the body join. Man communicates with the spiritual realm through the spirit. He communicates with the world of senses through the body. The soul is in between. On the one hand, it communicates with the spiritual realm through the spirit, and on the other hand, it communicates with the physical world through the body.

The soul is in between the spirit and the body; it binds the spirit and the body together as one. The spirit rules over the body through the soul and subjects it under God’s power. The body can induce the spirit to love the world through the soul.

The soul is the source of the personality; man’s judgment, intellect, and love all are of the soul. The spirit is the part with which man communicates with the spiritual realm. The body is the part with which man communicates with the physical realm. The soul is in the middle of these two parts. It exercises its judgment to determine if the spiritual realm is to rule or if the physical realm is to rule. Sometimes the soul rules through its intellect and stimulations; this becomes the rule of the psychological world. Unless the soul yields its rule to the spirit, the spirit cannot rule. Hence, the soul has to authorize the spirit to rule before the latter can rule over the soul and the body. The reason for this is that the soul is the origin of the personality.

Angels as spirit beings like God have no form(DNA) and are not able to manifest a form in regard to their spirit as if we did wrestle against flesh and blood .They have no DNA as rudiments of this world, therefore having not been formed from the dust as man, a beast of the field with the number 666 applied to that kind of beast. They have appeared in a vision as prophecy using flesh and blood to describe their unseen appearance but cannot perform that kind of work by their ownself ..

The soul is the line of communication between two spirits… not seen .The soul of Adam died representing the second death, not his temporal spirit it was given seventy or so years before it died used to represent the first death, the death of these bodies of death.

Christ suffered in respect to the first death, the death of the soul by giving His Spirit life that will never die but will be raised on the last day ..

I'm sorry but you've read it wrong.. up to you to take it.. prime example of how people romance false ideas and teach them
The king was going to throw them in...they said God is able to save them but even if He doesnt save them ,they would rather die than worship those idols.

To me it shows the type of faith we should all have.

The 1st century Christians died by lions, fire, etc instead of renouncing their faith. Many today still chose death over idol worship or spitting, burning or walking over the cross.

Oh wow...are we "teaching" or just discussing scripture?

People have their Bibles and the Holy Spirit. Everyone is free to pray and decide what they want to believe.

It's a historic fact that early and modern day Christians died for their faith.

I don't see how it's "romance" to see that old testament saints also died for their faith in God. Jezebel hunted and killed many prophets who worshipped YHWH.

The fact that God calls us to have a faith that is willing to die for Him is not based upon one scripture...so you can believe what you want concerning that scripture,,,,it didn't really change the point I was trying to make.

Do you have a faith strong enough that when tested you would die for God rather than renounce Jesus as your Lord and Savior?

Matthew Henry Commentary
3:8-18 True devotion calms the spirit, quiets and softens it, but superstition and devotion to false gods inflame men's passions. The matter is put into a little compass, Turn, or burn. Proud men are still ready to say, as Nebuchadnezzar, Who is the Lord, that I should fear his power? Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego did not hesitate whether they should comply or not. Life or death were not to be considered. Those that would avoid sin, must not parley with temptation when that to which we are allured or affrighted is manifestly evil. Stand not to pause about it, but say, as Christ did, Get thee behind me, Satan. They did not contrive an evasive answer, when a direct answer was expected. Those who make their duty their main care, need not be anxious or fearful concerning the event. The faithful servants of God find him able to control and overrule all the powers armed against them. Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst. If He be for us, we need not fear what man can do unto us. God will deliver us, either from death or in death. They must obey God rather than man; they must rather suffer than sin; and must not do evil that good may come. Therefore none of these things moved them. The saving them from sinful compliance, was as great a miracle in the kingdom of grace, as the saving them out of the fiery furnace was in the kingdom of nature. Fear of man and love of the world, especially want of faith, make men yield to temptation, while a firm persuasion of the truth will deliver them from denying Christ, or being ashamed of him. We are to be meek in our replies, but we must be decided that we will obey God rather than man

Daniel 3:18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up."

Yes, or at leat that's what it seems like to me. The body is the things you can't take into Heaven. And the Soul are the things you can.

If the bible says diffrent then please let me know and quote a verse.
