Every time I come to this site, I find some man or woman thinking the world of him/herself or of what he or she thinks he/she believes in.
Then they call themselves a christian and act as if the other people are not. It is irratable. Especially when you see that by what they say they have very little knowledge about what is going on in the spiritual. More than that it breaks down the name of Christianity, especially with those people curious about Christianity that comes to visit the site. This cause more division in the body of Christ and it is truly not the way of Christ at all. If you haven't reached the level that other people have reached, be content and get your life right with God. And if you have achieved a tiny bit more in your spiritual life than the other person has, stop being small minded and be graceful. For you will not achieve anything more until you fulfill that which God holds dear. And God said to Moses the following : That whosoever brings an offering to the alter but has an argument with his brother, must leave his offer and first go make right with his brother and then bring the offering.
The name Christian was given to a group of people because they acted exactly as the Lord Himself did. How many of us can say this is true of ourselves.
That we never judge others.
Never lie.
Never steal.
Never break down the wounded.
Always care for the peolpe around us.
Go out of our way to help those around us.
Continiously listen to God's instructions daily and obey them as we hear His voice on a daily basis.
Continiously complete His commandments to show our love towards Him.
Heal those around us.
Pray for those around us. (good and bad)
Give prophecy for those around us.
This is but to name a few things. Yet this one wants to claim his church and say that church has not got the right values because of this and that. I ask you... have you worked with them in ministry and prayed with them. Have you walked a path with them and tried to understand their ways and the reasoning before you made your statements. Are you that "Good".
How many today walk according to the path of Christ. Correctly totally according to what He said we should do. Yet you call yourself a christian. It is commonly known in the business world, "if someone openly calls himself christian when he intruduces himself, beware cause he has got some kind of scam"
This should not be so, the reputation of the name christian has gone to quite the opposite of its original meaning. If you want a good argument, just log on to any christian website. ?!?
When I was in the missions we had this saying..."Preach the Gospel, if you must - use words." The Gospel should first be preached by our actions. The way we talk to people and each other.
Do we truly perform the assignment Christ gave us, or are we so in our own line of thought onto the next argument that we don't even listen to His voice when we hear what we have to say to aid the other person. Isn't that why we should come to a Christian website. So God can minister over the internet with various people?
Think about this, the next time you wish to make an argument please.
