Okay, you use what was happening in the gathering of the Saints, in Corinth. They were taking for granted that they were 100% forgiven and figured they could do whatever they wanted being forgiven, and gloried in it.
that is what the entire written 1 Corinthians is all about, straightening out that heresy.
They were correct about being 100% forgiven, but they had only a worldly sorrow, and not a Godly one. So Brother let us not fall after the same misusing of being forgiven. Nor let us call God a liar in us through Christ being forgiven either, as in the self will of asking forgiveness over and over again, we are either forgiven 100% or we are not, make the choice.
Hebrews 2:3 how shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
Hebrews 10:28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
So the Corinthians came to:
2 Corinthians 7:9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.
2 Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
2 Corinthians 7:11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.
When one leads a horse to water, can one force the horse to drink, and the horse be satisfied?
Or is it better for the horse to decide to drink and be satisfied
Free will choice is sweeter than honey
John 4:13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
John 4:14 but whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
Why are we mixing force with free will? and not just loving as Christ has loved us, beyond loving neighbor as self Brother
Yes let it all fall were it may and just tell of the good news and quit the editing and destroying, and start trusting God's love to permeate all through your new self starting at the new heart God implanted from day one of your belief
I understand admonishment, and what it does to another when it is of the flesh doing it, and how it causes despising each other and we have all the different groups we have today when we are to be one faith, one love, one spirit, one baptism, one in Father through Son Christ. And we are all carnal and in need of the Godly repentance, and quit this like men.
I am sorrowful to all that do not come to trust God in all things they do or not do, as God said he will never leave us nor forsake us
God seeks:
John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
John 14:17 even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
maybe it is time to see from the Spirit of God rather than this world of goody two shoes
There were three reasons why the trumpet was blown, and they were gathering together for feasts, and the another was a blast for warning of attack, or a cry for battle, and the third for the beginning of months. For the children of Israel this warning would have been a call to battle in defense of a certain position, or an offensive attack, such as we read when Israel conquered Jericho.
(Joshua 6:4-20) I find in scripture that the trumpets were blown at the beginning of each month, yet there were three special occasions of trumpet sounding.
(Psalm 81:3) These times of new moons and feasts had nothing to do with a call to battle, because no alarm accompanied the original blast.
Numbers 10:7-10 (KJV)
[SUP]
7 [/SUP]But when the congregation is to be gathered together, ye shall blow,
but ye shall not sound an alarm.
[SUP]
8 [/SUP]And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance for ever throughout your generations.
[SUP]
9 [/SUP]And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye
shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.
[SUP]
10 [/SUP]Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I
am the LORD your God.
It is up to us to sound with distinction, and warning.
1 Corinthians 14:8 (KJV)

8 [/SUP]For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle? There is nothing in the Bible that says we are to force people to obey.
Homward; It seems as though you are insinuating that I am endorsing something that the Bible doesn't say for us to do. God's Kingdom is not a dictatorship.
Vengeance is His, but if we fail to sound off, the blood is on our hands. Like Joshua, it is up to us to choose who we will serve. Seek the approval of God, not the persuasion of the masses.
Homosexuality is wrong in the sight of God! He disapproves in every detail. Period! I used to play trumpet in Junior High band. I'm still learning how to blow it with distinction. If those of you who don't want to take the warning I give, and sound off according to God's commandments, the blood is on your hands, not mine.
