The gospels reveal what Jesus accomplished, but the Lord used Paul to reveal the whys and wherefores.
Yep, Paul certainly explained the life, death and resurrection of Christ, and its application, as questions arose amongst the fledgling churches he was writing too. And masterfully used the OT to show this truth and the witness of Christ Himself that we have now in the record of the 4 Gospels.

The whole NT is about the good news and how people are to respond to it and how Christians are to live by it. In fact, all of scripture is about Christ and His redeeming work as God.

It's not either /,or. For the Christian it's all of it. Remember we view the 4 gospels through the lense of the resurrection just like it's writers and readers. Christ spoke of faith, he spoke of grace alone and he spoke of justification, His audience was rather different than Paul's - they should have realized what Jesus was saying.

Anyhow John146, if you have the time here is a short article that may help in showing the unity of Jesus' and Paul s gospel and the whole NT. It 's an article by John Piper. Its a good article for anyone who is not sure or confused on this issue. :

Jesus did not cancel any of the spirit of the law that Moses gave, only the freshly commands that he gave. When the command not to murder was given in stone, Christ explained that law making it the true law of the Lord, the spirit of the law given in our hearts. When Christ took away the command to physically cut flesh as a sign of circumcision, Christ did not take away the need for us to be circumcised, only the need to cut flesh.

Are you Hebrew?
Have you been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb?
Jesus said you CAN NOT SERVE TWO MASTERS!

The spirit of the law is sin and death
( wages of sin is death)
The law of love bought and paid for by Jesus releases us from sin and death, the Mosiac Law.

You also seem to be hung up on circumsion, are you male? If not this WOULD NOT APPLY TO YOU ANYWAY!

She won't respond,I think I'm on ignore 😂

I watched the first 20 minutes or so, and he misrepresented dispensational teaching as well. He stated that what Christ came to do (establish the kingdom) was aborted and so He went to the cross.

We would never fully understand the writings of the four gospels if it were not for Paul's epistles and what the Lord revealed to him. If not for Paul's writings, we would never know the meaning of the cross.

I belong to the Lord, He is my master so I am circumcised, I am not sure if that means I am 'hung up on" or not. I have no idea where my beliefs in Christ and I have absolute faith in all Christ tells me makes you wonder if I am Hebrew or not.

Being male or female has absolutely nothing to do with Christ's instruction to be circumcised. It is a matter of the heart not of the flesh.

Acts is not written to me or you. 2Ti_2:7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.
Paul does not write: Consider what Luke says.
2Co_12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. Who gave Paul what to write ? Who made himself known to Paul when he was persecuting the church of God? Who gave Paul the gospel to preach to throughout all the world ?
Christ.
My fellow prisoner Aristarchus sends you his greetings, as does Mark, the cousin of Barnabas. (You have received instructions about him; if he comes to you, welcome him.) Jesus, who is called Justus, also sends greetings. These are the only Jews among my co-workers for the Kingdom of God, and they have proved a comfort to me (Colossians 4:10-11).

The gospel Paul was given by Christ.

1Co 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1Co 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
This is the gospel you must believe to be saved.
Who is Christ to you, @Hann57?

Is it Jesus of Nazareth or someone else?

If it is someone else, then who?

You might as well lay all your cards on the table; it will all become evident eventually if you want to even get your message across.

So, you are saying that if the entire Gentile church does not continue in God's goodness, it will be cut off.
Israel as a nation was cut off. As Paul said

so yes. The gentile church would be cut off of its responsibilities. And it will be given back to Israel.

Your problem is you think it is talking about salvation. its not. Israel was blinded in part. There were and always have been saved jews, a remnant as they call it. But the nation was cut off.

When the Gentiles church is cut off, do you believe that the individual people in the Gentile church will be cut off and will not have salvation any more?

What is your definition of "cut off?

Rom 11:20, Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
Rom 11:21, For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
Rom 11:22, Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

In the above verses, "thou" and "thee" are singular for the word "you".

So, I think that your interpretation that Paul is here speaking of a corporate body of Gentile believers is unfounded.

Gal 1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
Gal 1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Peter recieved it first

1Co_2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Christ gave a new covenant new word , new blood. We aren’t part of this

“And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the Lord hath said will we do, and be obedient.

And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the Lord hath made with you concerning all these words.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭24:7-8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

that law is not our law this is our law

“If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:15-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

and this is the blood shed for us by Jesus according to his word not Moses word and blood

“For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭26:28‬ ‭KJV‬‬

this is Moses judgement written in his law

“And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭21:23-25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

one cannot keep that judgement of Moses word and blood ordained of angels , and also keep Christs word it’s contrary

Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:

But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

…But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:38-39, 44-45‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It isn’t possible to obey Moses and also Jesus the two words are contrary at too many points it’s a different law for dofferent people without hope or the Holy Spirit . The truth is that there are two covenants one made through angels and Moses with the children of isreal . And the the other God the father , through the son to all nations

there is a different covenant word and blood for each as well as a seperate priesthood , a seperate temple , seperate sacrifice , seperate promises because they are two seperate covenants one is for this purpose to condemn the old man.

“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:19-20‬ ‭

that’s all Moses law can achieve revealing sin to sinners and holding them guilty.

the savior and salvation is found beginning with Matthew chapter 1 more specifically when Jesus was baptized and began to say “ the time is fulfilled repent and believe the gospel “

that’s when our covenant began to be spoken the old covenant through angels mediation is for an example only

“Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭2:1-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the gospel is our covenant Moses law is not
