For example as a Christian working in the secular world, do you have any problems?

Just depends who you are working with but i couldn't imagine working in an office environment with all the chat that goes on, would drive me insane.

Of course we have trouble at our jobs. If for no other reason that Genesis 3:17-19:

"Cursed is the ground for your sake;
In toil you shall eat of it
All the days of your life.
Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you,
And you shall eat the herb of the field.
In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread
Till you return to the ground,
For out of it you were taken;
For dust you are,
And to dust you shall return."

But we must remember Jesus' promise:

"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

The important thing is not to join in and work your job and live your life for God, people will take notice and you may have opportunity to witness

Agreed 100%. The Hebrew word "avodah" means both work and worship, depending on the context.

We are called to be apart. It is never easy, but it certainly can edify when you ace the world and stand on God's word through faith in Jesus Christ. Shine that light enough and others will notice!

When I was working in a company, I avoided going out lunch with my peers, reason being they liked to talk about the bad things of bosses. I joined them a couple of times and I admit I didn't enjoy the lunch not because of them but because of the conversation topics. It left a subtle but strong resentment inside you. So, I was selective going out with colleagues for lunch.
