God is, of course, over all.
He is like a master who delegates certain things to underlings. In Genisis, He delegated some authority to man...
Genesis 1:26
“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”
Things got messed up when man sold out to Satan, but our Kinsman Redeemer paid the price for our redemption at Calvary. He will forcefully take all things back when He returns.
Luke 21:28
“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”
Romans 8:22,23
“For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.”
“And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.”
He paid the price at His first coming. He will collect the prize at His second coming.
Man has only himself to blame. All things were good at creation. Man chose to disobey, and the curse followed.
Praise be to God for the plan of redemption.
