really, going to report me?

hahahaha you really are a weak minded person.

what have you done for God in such a weakened state of existence?
What you appear to be is an arrogant person who thinks their stuff does not stink, and for this post, you are now officially on report, and placed into my prayer bin.

Study jesus and his life. You are supposed to represent him if you are a christian, the way you talk to people shows no resemblance of God.

Good day.

I see, so asking if Joseph and Imhotep are the same person, that would tie secular history to the Bible and give it more validity to those not saved is a bad thing?
Apparently. Too threatening for some I guess.

Nah, its not threatening, thats not the issue, the issue is his so called every dnce or reasoning, thats flawed, if thats flawed it got ves LESS validity to those who do not know god, not more.

Then you add in his attitude to anyone who tries to questions his reasoning, and it hust makes it worse

But you're worried about his attitude, but where's your grace? If you know he's flawed (but know there are plenty of other ways history matches scripture perfectly) how does that invalidate the attempt? How many people were led to Christ based on information that was't 100% accurate? It's not even the gospel he'd be sharing but information about Joseph. And then maybe it could open the door for him to preach the gospel.

What I read were replies to him that completely invalidated his attempt. One can disagree with him but not be condescending about it, like Kavik successfully did (speaking of "being like Christ").

You must not be reading his responses.

And is this is a discussion forum, when people discuss things and disagree, they say why, and give reasons, and those reasons tend to invalidate the others view,

How that person responds to what others see, is the issue.

And that is th issue in here, his attitude.

Flaming:
To engage in an online argument usually involving unfounded personal attacks

definitely not here to discuss anything and I would not take him seriously. the op topic may actually be of interest, whether true or not, but his manner is as described above

we know who Joseph is.
we know his brothers sold him and he ended up in Djoser, Egypt becoming second in command to the Pharoah.
and we know he was looked upon a wise man, a ruler, a spiritual man, saved Egypt during a 7 year drought.

but the Egyptian hieroglyphs speak of a person that also fits the attributes and qualities of Joseph, also in Djoser, second in command, a wise man of spiritual advice, medicine, and also was in a 7 year drought of Egypt who saved Egypt like we know Joseph did.

his name was Imhotep.

now what is most interesting about the names is how they are properly aligned and spelled/sounded according to the original Hebrew language.
and when you use the proper spelling, you can see a similarity between Joseph and Imhotep.

here is the example I speak of:

IMHOTEP
J HOSEPH

when you view it in this manner, Imhotep could easily mean Imhosep which is Jhoseph.

they both built a step pyramid [which Joseph used as an alter unto God].

in my opinion, the person whom Egyptians worship as a god is in fact Joseph, the son of Jacob.

but, what do you think?
Very possible. A woman some time ago made a lay study of this possibility. A rather good one in my view. LINKED HERE

The theme of this thread is completely insane. Joseph was not nor could not be Imhotep. Imhotep was a Egyptian magician and would have worshiped the many gods of Egypt. Joseph never worshiped any God except Jehovah God.

no one actually has any real history on Imhotep. they have found a multitude of pharaoh's tombs, their existence through hieroglyphs, and other factual notations proving their existence. but no one has any of that concrete evidence for Imhotep. yes, they have supposed information. but they are guessing about it considering Imhotep existed and then 1500 years later someone remembered him. so all his information is basically made up. they really don't have any specifics about Imhotep including when he would have actually lived.

and there are articles proving they have never found his burial tomb.

so, we have a mirage of information making up who this Imhotep is supposed to be and none of it is most likely facts.

but what we do know outside him being a supposed magician of medicine, are his roles that are specific to what the Bible claims of Joseph.

so, we cannot actually say Imhotep worshipped the Egyptians gods because no one really has solid information outside 1500 year old myth.
