The Bible maintains a clear distinction between God and His Son, but also says that " all the fullness of Deity dwell in Christ in bodily form " ( Col. 2 : 9 ). There are things that humans do not know because it has not been explained to us. There are also things that we humans simply unable to understand, even if it is explained to us. With the knowledge that we do not understand God, the following is proposed :

The universe consist of time, space, matter, but God the Father (the One True God, YHVH of hosts) exits outside of time, space, matter, but that where the wisdom and power, that created our universe came from. He is presently living in eternity pass. This is bid stuff, so let me all it to digest.

So now the scriptures identify the Son as " the Beginning ". This is understood to say that He is the Beginning of time, space and matter.
He brings eternity pass into time.
Consequently, one cannot separate the universe from the Son; God brought the universe into being by bringing His Son into being. His Son is that immense explosion of Energy that brought this universe into being. He is the "big bang"; not an uncontrolled explosion, but an incomprehensible planned and guided explosion. ( Gen. 1 & St. John 1 ).
But this Son is a Person, by which I mean the He is aware of Himself and aware of other living things. He is not only a Person; He is an intensely loving Person. He was willing to become a human being and even to die at the hands of evil men, because He loves His sinful creatures.
So base on the scriptures we should maintain the distinction between God and His Son, we should also keep in mind the Son's attributes: " By him (the Son) all things were created (Col. 1 : 15, 16). "He is before all things" (Col. 1 : 17 ). He is the " Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end"(Rev. 22 : 13).

TERTULLIAN HIMSELF PROVED FOUR HISTORICAL FACTS.

Fact 1. Tertullian was the first Christian writer on record to use the word “Trinity” with “three persons.”
Fact 2. Tertullian believed that the Son was created as a subordinate lesser god person in heaven before his birth in Bethlehem which is akin to Arianism.
Fact 3. Tertullian admitted that the Oneness Modalists were “always the majority of the faithful” Christian believers in his lifetime and that this Christian majority believed that Jesus had eternally existed as the Father before becoming a man.
Fact 4. No early Christians that lived during the lifetime of Tertullian (190-225) believed that Jesus pre-existed as the timeless Eternal God except the Modalistic Monarchians. Fact 5. Tertullian is not a true Trinitarian like today.

Hippolytus and Origen were not Trinitarian at all, they were Semi-Arians who do not believe that the Son is in one substance with the Father.

There are four undeniable historical facts from the writings of Origen. 1. Origen believed in an inferior Semi-Arian Son rather than a coequal Trinitarian Son. 2. Origen was highly influenced by Greek Platonic Philosophy in formulating his theology. 3. Origen was the first Christian writer on record to clearly teach a timeless eternal Son. 4.Origen clearly stated that “the general run of Christians” were the Modalistic Monarchians who taught that the word of God was “the utterance of the Father”.

There is a Trinitarian apologist trying to convince anybody that Trinity doctrine is the best defense against Oneness of God and Tritheism, he is saying that Trinity will harmonize between the two beliefs between Oneness of God and Tritheism(believing more than one God or three gods.)

In reality, Tritheism did not become a part of the issue in early Christians because they all believe there is only one God. The Arianism did not believe that Jesus is God because they want to maintain that there is only one God who is the Father.

The first Council of Nicea in 325 AD, was only resolving the divinity of Jesus in which the Arianism opposing it.

Tertullian wrote that the Modalistic Monarchians(Oneness believers) were ALWAYS THE MAJORITY OF THE FAITHFUL IN THE WEST, and while Origen admitted that Modalistic Monarchians were THE GENERAL RUN OF CHRISTIANS in the East.
