I have this friend (really me) who is not doing something that is a good thing and his aunt got in the picture with her trying to fix things or get him to obey her (by force or waling or any other tool she could use on the evil me (or my friend ) and he refuses to get manipulated into something that he wasn't going to do anyway. and now my aunt sucks my sister into it and she's becoming a manipulator. She tells me to obey or she won't have anything to do with me. evil evil evil. this bothers me greatly and I likely will loose half of my family over it. but I won't change who I am no matter what. people are so stupid (I mean so good.) And I am doing the right thing I have no question about it whatsoever. There is more at stake than my family.

With that said the question I put out is, lets say someone is doing great evil or only perceived evil, is it ever O.K. to manipulate and use pressure to overcome evil with a lesser evil?

I asked that to someone at my Job and she thought , yes if it was to protect people, I still wonder about that as well. What would Jesus do, what does God do when evil people throw His people in the flames?

I think of this martyr that all he had to do is offer a grain of incense worth 1000th of a penny to a fake god and he wouldn't do it so they fed him live bees till he died.

I find it sort of annoying that since I became a Christian I never have been so evil. and I know how much truth is in that.

Let us go to the Lord in prayer.

Dear Heavenly Father you know our troubles and cares and our worries. we place them in your hands Lord and place our trust and love before you. Please lead us in your ways O God. Please protect us from attacks from those who mean us harm and place a hedge of love around us and our loved ones. Help us to live lives worthy of a living sacrifice to You Our Lord and Savior. Please awaken the hearts of those around us to their lack of You o God and help us be living testimonies to you that will shine lights into their lives and lead them to a deep and personal relationship with you God. We pray that they come to know you. place in their hearts a godly sorrow that leads to repentance and true faith in Your salvation. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

sorry Giant I don't have any answer but I will pray with you and perhaps a song will help?

that was a very good prayer, I agree.

I don't feel evil at all, though many people over the years have tried to make me feel evil. (to make them feel or think they look good) But regardless of how evil or good I am, it won't change their condition whatsoever.

that's the truth. it doesn't matter what others think of us. it only matters how God judges us and if we follow Him wholeheartedly or not.

I'm practice praying out loud. lol I still don't speak them as much as type them, but I"m getting there ;)

Ummmmm.....it all depends on whether the means can be Biblically justified.
