this is claptrap

Bruce is not a teacher. He is a salesman and sells himself in this forum.

he does not teach the word...he posts copy/pastes from the sites he goes to

green monster? that would be funny if you did not think it true

this is a discussion forum. not a teaching platform

the actual problem may be YOUR personal perception of him as YOUR teacher but stating anyone is jealous of him is just foolish

you are making an emotional plea here for some reason and it does not sound right

there are actual teachers on this site but they discuss. they don't go around claiming to be teachers nor do they constantly call others slanderers, full of malice and other choice descriptions bruce has claimed towards those who simply disagree with his copy/pastes

your sentiment is personal. not shared by anyone I know and if there are 6 people here who think the same as you, well, let's remember that some people need their egos stroked

what is going on here is simply a minor personality cult, nothing to do with jealousy

there is nothing to be jealous of. I have no emotions involved here but it seems some people do

Thou dost.....protest..... toooo much.....

that's quite catty of you

and uncalled for

I will simply say again this is not a teaching platform and your personal prejudice does not make G7 a teacher

this is a discussion forum. my reply is based on your ridiculous claim that people are jealous

you are free to be taught by anyone you want. the problems arise with G7 because he does not respect anothers opinion

there is a problem here and you are trying to do the same as he is

as far as protesting too much, well hey, I've been protesting the hyper grace copy/paste both of you do and I am far from alone in that

you cannot equate your personal emotions as any sort of admonishment towards those of us who disagree with what 'your teacher' posts

I am truly sorry you feel the way you do

I'm taking my leave of this mess on this thread as have 3 others before me. those 3 all agree that there is a false gospel being presented in the copy/pastes you call teaching

that is the real concern. a false Christ is being presented here. that is the concern

Hi EG., This happens every month or so. The green monster
comes out reeeeeaaaalllly green in usually the same people against Grace777 I've noticed Bruce's strongest critics are those with strong personalities who don't seem to want or need any teaching..., or anyone who disagrees with THEIR teachings. But this is a Bible STUDY Forum and we get to read different Christian's view points as we BIBLE STUDY. HEEELLLLLOOOOOO

Mostly., imo some
don't want Bruce teaching. But Bruce is a good brother and actually is a good teacher. He has a gift and is using it for the Lord. So God bless him and anyone who desires to be used of the Lord for the benefit of other believers and also the unsaved for that matter who come here on CC.

It's just too bad that the green monster has to come out at all. Childish old Christians should grow up!

My post bears repeating so as not to miss what was originally said.

Hebrews 4:

14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin.

16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Our great High Priest, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, was touched with the feeling of our infirmities (weaknesses) and He was in all points tempted like as we are and yet He was without sin.

In other words, where we may or may not be victorious over those things we are tempted with, He successfully endured and was victorious over the temptations He faced.

And because of Who He is (and who we are in Him), we can come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

To come boldly means that we can approach with freedom of speech. We can confidently stand before the throne of grace and speak openly in time of need in order that we may obtain mercy and find grace.

In those moments where we find ourselves "feeling guilty", we have to recognize that we have been drawn away from our abode in our Lord Jesus Christ and turn our hearts back to Him. Then (and only then) will we realize there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.

I agree with you Renewed. While reading the last part of your post I have to add something for clarification. So we believe there is no condemnation coming from God to us anymore when we sin. But that truth does us no good (in the here and now) unless we believe it. His forgiveness is already provided and we have it., but unless we apply it., we won't be healed.

Many suffer for years never living out that truth. They take the guilt and sickness of their failures and sins and carry it with them and hide from God in shame and guilt of their weaknesses. They run from the throne of grace where the Bible even says we can go and would find grace and help. We DON'T DESERVE IT BUT IT'S THERE.

So why do we run? Because many of us Christians STILL don't believe we can have it when we don't deserve it. Without understanding we are set free from guilt and shame by grace through faith., it can even make us sick and die early for the living in guilt and shame. It's so important to know how to live by grace through faith. It will change everything and especially how we relate to God. We will run straight to Him without hesitation each and every time when we know we are loved and forgiven unconditionally.

feeling really bad for those who 'deny' Jesus Christ's Sacrifice, and the Job that
He created for Himself, through His Holy Father' Will...

we're done...

Who is doing that?

the only people I see doing that are those who are denying the cross by trying to add their works to the equation, in order to maintain thei salvation,

I mean honestly

what next

I've heard it all now.

I think people who think they should be teaching should probably go and do that on their own blog

this is a discussion forum

it seems that certain people think we should all hush up when they start 'talking'

that's pretty telling. this is not about one person and I question why a few people think it is

it's a bit odd IMO

Sounds like pretty much everyone who is attacking a person because he shares things with people, if he was trying to boast of himself, or puff himself up, he would not use videos of others, or copy and paste things from people who feels can say what he wants better than himself, he would instead be posting his own sermons or his own videos (I have seen this from a few people over the years)

your right, it's not about one person, but yourself and a few others make it about one person,

whats most amazing, is everything you just said in this post should be directed at yourself, and your group who have been at war for over a year now,

you promote yourself as teachers, and attack one person continually, then blame him for promoting himself as a teacher and making it about himself.

I agree with you dcon., But the Bible mentions about being cleansed from a guilty conscience. Shouldn't we find out what that means? Hebrews 10:22

[SUP]22 [/SUP]let us draw near with a true heart in [SUP][a][/SUP]fulness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil [SUP][b][/SUP]conscience: and having our body washed with pure water,

[SUP]23 [/SUP]let us hold fast the confession of our hope that it waver not; for he is faithful that promised: [SUP]24 [/SUP]and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good works;

[SUP]25 [/SUP]not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as ye see the day drawing nigh. American Standard

[SUP]

22 [/SUP]Let us all come forward and draw near with true (honest and sincere) hearts in unqualified assurance and absolute conviction engendered by faith (by [SUP][a][/SUP]that leaning of the entire human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness), having our hearts sprinkled and purified from a guilty (evil) conscience and our bodies cleansed with pure water. and many have Satan or one of his cronies in their ear telling them how guilty they are. To take them out, make them feel useless. It's all a spiritual war, and we are the targets.

We all need each other in the body of Christ and no one has all knowledge in any area or truth. We all can speak what we believe the Holy Spirit has shown us about the things of Christ and we learn from each other.

1 Corinthians 14:26 (NASB)
[SUP]26 [/SUP] What is the outcome then, brethren? When you assemble, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.

Paul says "To him that thinks he knows something - he doesn't know it as he ought to."

We can all learn from each other as every part in the body of Christ has a role to play. In my previous background in medicine before I retired from there - the Lord uses the anatomy to show me how individual cells function. Some cells never come into contact with other cells and yet they are still a part of the body.

Some cells lie dormant until they are called upon for various reasons and they have a different function than some other cells do. Paul alludes to this truth when he says that not all of us are eyes or hands in 1 Cor. 12.

Ephesians 4:15-16 (NASB)
[SUP]15 [/SUP] but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ,

[SUP]16 [/SUP] from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.

Please don't get me wrong, joaniemarie. I believe it is imperative that we go to Father when we sin. Yet that is the time we choose to run / hide from Him. We fear Him because we have sinned and then we behave like Adam and try to hide from Him.

However, He searches us out ... just as He searched for Adam (Gen 3:8). He knows we're hiding from Him but He comes after us anyway. Just like any father who knows his child has done something he or she should not have done.

As a parent, it hurt my heart when my children were afraid to talk to me when they were naughty. Sometimes they would come to me to talk about what they had done. But most times, I had to go find them so we could talk about it.

We do the same thing to God. I know it hurts Him when we are afraid of Him. He has nothing but love for us, nothing but what we need to help us, but we hide from Him, even though we know there is no place we can go where He cannot find us.

The great men and women of faith shown in Heb 11 were not great because they never sinned or stumbled. They were great because they had faith to get back up and continue in their walk of faith. Hand in hand with God. It's a shame that we fall. And it's even more of a shame when we do not get up after we've fallen ... to remain distant from God after all He has done for us and in us. That is our shame.

While I often find it difficult not to defend grace777 from attacks here I know that he and I both expect these attacks and in fact they are simply more proof of the truth of the gospel of Jesus. He said that we should expect people to have a very hard time believing His gospel. Everyone who proclaims the truth of Jesus gospel since paul has been and will be attacked.

John 16:1-4 [FONT=&quot]These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.[/FONT][FONT=&quot]2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]4 But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.

John 15:18-21 18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.[/FONT]

WOW!!!.....Trying to keep "to the topic" with these posts? Is much like trying to follow a proverbial "pin-ball" as it bounces and spins from 1 set of eyes to another. As the "ball in play", comes into contact with the next "bumper", the OP gets bounced and spun, sometimes ignored totally, with each "bumper" claiming some form of a victory!.....what this kind of behavior tells me, is that in some, but not all cases, some posters, have no way of how to deal, or reply to OP, yet one's level of vanity, will not allow themselves to learn, or be taught! Nevertheless, it (vanity) insists that they respond. If for no other reason, then?...Well?...LOL...For Vanity's sake!

Others, it seems, don't really CARE concerning OP! But, have set themselves in some sort of crusade AGAINST any certain poster, in attempting to recruit allies in a railroading off the sight with an aggressive tar and feathering strategy in these.....efforts towards self righteousness?

I dunno!...I do know, however, there are believers, young in the faith, there are non-believers, asking (in thier eyes, anyways) questions pertinent to them, and where they may or may not be, there are believers in or at and of many differing levels of faith, and actions of faith, seeking someplace to "fit in" with the body of Christ! There are many instances and arguments over terminology usages in describing the same thing. Heck!!!...there's even people in here, who as teachers, or instructors, who grade posts, on how ineffective one's usage of grammer, and sentence structure is to them, therefore, nullifying what was written as null and void, and so, should be disregarded by all!
VANITY
VANITY
VANITY!
Also?...is hard to watch, and rather sad in the beholding of. Yet, pretty telling of the how the "falling and drifting away" from the Truth, is perpetuated, and perpetuates itself! :(

I agree.....to blend what we do into the equation devalues the sacrifice and work of Christ on our behalf and waters his blood down to the point of making the promises of God void and without effect.

Good post renewed., It's probably my own personal issue with shame that causes me to shun even the word "shame" when it comes to me and Jesus. It's also probably due to my personal experiences with life and failures and success that cause me (a 59yr old woman) to take the position 'of' and seeing myself 'as' a young child with God the Father.

Even when I fail and mess up I'm not feeling any shame before Him at all. It used to be when thoughts came into my mind from out of no where., I would own them thinking they were all mine. I'm not sure how the enemy does this because I know he can't read our minds., but he does influence our thoughts. Just because a swear word or a negative thought would come to my mind (and I don't even swear and never have) there is an awareness now in me that says it's not my word I don't have to own it. Since I now know this., those thoughts are not a problem anymore. The truth set me free and the enemy was resisted and he fled.

There can be many reasons why a shameful thought our a word comes to our minds. One reason can be we exposed ourselves to people or a movie or tv or reading material where there was a bunch of swearing or sin going on., and it effected our minds since we allowed it in and tolerated it. It's true that what we allow and tolerate to come in our minds will effect us. Even if we don't actively allow it in and it gets in., it will effect us.

Guarding the mind has become a truth in my Christian life now. Due to the fact that we have these mortal bodies still to deal with., tons of things occur in life and to our minds and bodies that we have no idea about OR any power over. The whole subconsciousness reality thing. People can do things based on self protecting all the time without realizing it. Many angry people are just hurting people but don't deal with the hurt so they lash out at those who threaten them. Their anger is lethal!!

Being aware of how subject we can be without the power of the Holy Spirit "allowed to rule and reign in our lives" we can be very messed up puppies. That is our frame I believe when we are not walking in the power of the truth. We can be subject to many things because of "our frame that IS but dust"

The Holy Spirit has taught me that this is what happens when He isn't the One influencing me. I'm open to other influences including my limited understanding. I need Him to interpret what is happening in my day activities and my reactions to them., or my mind is open to mis understanding and I can easily go off on a tangent based on my own limited dusty frame reactions.

I wish more Christians teachers and preachers would help the body of Christ understand about the battlefield of the mind. Many believers are living in the torment of their own minds when they could be set free by the truth. We have been given a new mind but it needs to be developed. There is so much more to this subject that I haven't done it justice in only these few small paragraphs. It is a big subject for study.

Right. We live in a world in which the rulers of darkness abound. satan uses others in order to influence our lives and get us to take our eyes off of our Lord Jesus Christ. And when we take our eyes off of Him, we sink ... just like Peter when he walked on the water. The moment he took his eyes off of Jesus he began to sink.

We have to get to the point where we realize that our Lord Jesus Christ is our life and everything in this world is set up to distract us from Him. A lot of people sitting in our churches don't pick up their Bibles to read. The only time they look at Scripture is on Sunday when they go to church. When we consider that God is the Author of Scripture and everything in Scripture points to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, it's no wonder that so many are duped into seeing themselves just as the god of this world has painted them. Really sad to see just how blinded we are to the fact that we (believers) are the children of the Living God —— the Creator of the heavens and the earth and all that is therein. Do we point to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in our daily walk? Do we live a life that exemplifies our Father? Or do we look like everyone else in this world?

I need Him to interpret what is happening in my day activities and my reactions to them., or my mind is open to mis understanding and I can easily go off on a tangent based on my own limited dusty frame reactions.

I wish more Christians teachers and preachers would help the body of Christ understand about the battlefield of the mind. Many believers are living in the torment of their own minds when they could be set free by the truth. We have been given a new mind but it needs to be developed. There is so much more to this subject that I haven't done it justice in only these few small paragraphs. It is a big subject for study.

Have you ever read the mind is the battlefield in the Book, The Spiritual Man, by Watchman Nee?
