Did you even listen to the whole sermon? You do understand that the sermon is not even 30 minutes long, don't you?

And by the way, the word "backsliding" does appear in the King James Bible. In fact, this word occurs about 12 times in the King James Bible.

Now, obviously this word does not appear in the New Testament, but ratherit does appear in the Old Testament. Now, if you would have actually took the time to listen to the sermon, you would see that Dr. Ruckman right from the beginning of his lesson says and acknowledges that the word 'backsliding' is not a New Testament term but is an Old Testament term. He also said and acknowledged that although many times we use this term practically to refer to a Christian who is out of fellowship with the Lord, he also stated that doctrinally there is no such thing as a backslidden Christian.

So, the next time you want to declare a teaching as false, at least be fair and take the time and due diligence to actually listen to it and to make sure you are not about to make a false presumption and claim like you did here in this thread.

The teaching and doctrine in this sermon is sound, biblical, and true.

Now, I will give you the Scripture and Bible verses that show that this term does appear in the King James Bible.

Here are the Scriptures:

Jeremiah 3:6

Jeremiah 3:8

Jeremiah 3:11

Jeremiah 3:12

Jeremiah 3:14

Jeremiah 3:22

Jeremiah 8:5

Jeremiah 31:22

Jeremiah 49:4

Hosea 4:16

Hosea 11:7

Hosea 14:4
