I don't have a gift of interpreting dreams, but it can be helpful to figure out what the primary feeling or emotion was the dream gave you, and then think of things in your life that give you somewhat the same feeling. It might very well have something to do with that. Because something might be bothering you, without really realizing it, and in your sleep your brain tends to make a somewhat logical story from that: a dream. But the emotion or feeling is most of the time more important than the details. But that's only with the common, everyday dreams, and I don't know if that's what your talking about.
