According to Gen 1:14-18 and John 11:9-10; days on Earth are when the
sun is up, and nights on Earth are when the sun is down.
_
Dusk to dawn and dawn to dusk. On the Jewish calendar it is 6pm - 6am, 6am - 6pm.

The final authority on matters of daytime and nighttime is the Lord himself.
He was actually living in Israel during crucifixion week. When Jesus was
here, days were, at the most, only 12 hours.

John 11:9-10 . . Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in
the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world. But if
anyone walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him.

Days divided into twelve equal periods of sunlight were regulated by
what's known as temporal hours; which vary in length in accordance with
the time of year. There are times of the year at Jerusalem's latitude when
this world's light consists of less than 12 normal hours of sun, and
sometimes more; but when Jesus was here; the official number of hours was
always twelve regardless.

I don't exactly know why the Jews of that era divided their days into twelve
equal periods of sunlight regardless of the seasons, but I suspect it was just
a convenient way to operate the government and conduct civil affairs;
including the Temple's activities (e.g. the daily morning and evening
sacrifices)

Were Jesus' resurrection to occur in 2020, your announcement would be
premature-- as of today he would not yet be crucified seeing as how this
year's Passover season doesn't commence till sundown April 08.

Are you saying that there was no salvation for 4,000 years before Christ was crucified, the sacrificial system was a hoax, and Moses who lived before Christ is dead and didn't walk the streets of Jerusalem as we are told in Matther 27:53, and John was all wet when he told us in his gospel that He is the word add the word was at creation?

According to 1Pet 1:18-20 and Rev 13:8, Christ's crucifixion and his
resurrection were on the books prior to the creation of the cosmos, viz: the
work was as good as over and done with even before it took place. Ergo:
everyone who has ever been saved, both in the Old Testament and the New,
has been saved by Jesus Christ. (Rom 3:23-25)
