Hosea 14:4......I will heal their faithlessness; I will love them freely, for My anger is turned away from [Israel].

Just because He wants to......it pleases Him....

Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book;
but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God,
and that by believing you may have life in his name.

1 Corinthians 2:9, "But as it is written: Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the mind of man the things which Yahweh has prepared for those who love Him."

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Trust ye in the LORD for ever:
for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength

John 3:14

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

'When I consider Thy heavens,
the work of Thy fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which Thou hast ordained;

What is man,
that Thou art mindful of him?
and the son of man,
that Thou visitest him?'

zinzerio 1:1-8

buy in haste and it will to waste.

if in doubt spit it out.

in times of sorrow think of tomorrow.

where there is a will there is a way .

it is better to have loved than not been loved at all. God bless

I would like to thank you Zin for this thread, it is good. While I enjoy a healthy bible discussion, this thread is a relief from the arguing that happens on other threads.

Just scriptures...simple and something we can all enjoy.

Luke 12:7
Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. (NIV)

[h=3]Hebrews 3:12 [/h]
[SUP]12 [/SUP]Be careful, brothers and sisters, that none of you ever develop a wicked, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.

[SUP]9 [/SUP]“But as for you, take wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet and spelt, put them in one vessel and make them into bread for yourself; you shall eat it according to the number of the days that you lie on your side, three hundred and ninety days. [SUP]10 [/SUP]Your food which you eat shall be twenty shekels a day by weight; you shall eat it from time to time. [SUP]11 [/SUP]The water you drink shall be the sixth part of a hin by measure; you shall drink it from time to time. [SUP]12 [/SUP]You shall eat it as a barley cake, having baked it in their sight over human dung.” [SUP]13 [/SUP]Then the Lord said, “Thus will the sons of Israel eat their bread unclean among the nations where I will banish them.” [SUP]14 [/SUP]But I said, “Ah, Lord [SUP][b][/SUP]God! Behold, I have never been defiled; for from my youth until now I have never eaten what died of itself or was torn by beasts, nor has any unclean meat ever entered my mouth.” [SUP]15 [/SUP]Then He said to me, “See, I will give you cow’s dung in place of human dung over which you will prepare your bread.” [SUP]16 [/SUP]Moreover, He said to me, “Son of man, behold, I am going to break the staff of bread in Jerusalem, and they will eat bread by weight and with anxiety, and drink water by measure and in horror, [SUP]17 [/SUP]because bread and water will be scarce; and they will be appalled with one another and waste away in their iniquity.

I also like this one because a company decided to use it for their name:) Ezekiel 4:9 (I guess they hoped we wouldn't read the rest)

Revelation. 1:7.....Blessed is the man who reads aloud the word of this prophecy; and blessed
are those who hear and who keep themselves true to the things that are written
in it, for the time is near.

'Grace be to you and peace from God our Father,
and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Blessed be God,
even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

Who comforteth us in all our tribulation,
that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble,
by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us,
so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.'

(2 Cor. 1:2 -5)

* Paul and his companions new what it was to suffer for the name of Christ,
and they knew also the joy unspeakable and full of glory that was their consolation.
It was super-abounding! Praise God!

'But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye:
and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;

(1 Pet. 3:14 )

'If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye;
for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you:
on their part He is evil spoken of,
but on your part He is glorified.'

(1 Pet.4:14)

* There was a time when Peter shrank from the suffering and reproach of Christ, didn't he? He wept bitterly (Luke 22:62) when His Saviour looked around and looked at Him, having known that He would deny Him. Yet here he is quite a different man, by the grace of God.

Praise His Name!

Behold, O God our shield,
and look upon the face of thine anointed.

For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand.
I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God,
than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

For the Lord God is a sun and shield:
the Lord will give grace and glory:
no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

O Lord of hosts,
blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

[h=3]Isaiah 51:7-8[/h]New International Version (NIV)

[SUP]7 [/SUP]“Hear me, you who know what is right,
you people who have taken my instruction to heart:
Do not fear the reproach of mere mortals
or be terrified by their insults.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]For the moth will eat them up like a garment;
the worm will devour them like wool.
But my righteousness will last forever,
my salvation through all generations.”
