Though the fig tree should not blossom,
nor fruit be on the vines,
the produce of the olive fail
and the fields yield no food,
the flock be cut off from the fold
and there be no herd in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the Lord;
I will take joy in the God of my salvation.

1 Thessalonians 5:12-22 (New Living Translation) final instructions

12 Dear brothers and sisters, honor those who are your leaders in the Lord's work. They work hard among you and warn you against all that is wrong. 13 Think highly of them and give them your wholehearted love because of their work. And remember to live peaceably with each other.14 Brothers and sisters, we urge you to warn those who are lazy. Encourage those who are timid. Take tender care of those who are weak. Be patient with everyone. 15 See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to everyone else. 16 Always be joyful. 17Keep on praying. 18 No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 19 Do not stifle the Holy Spirit. 20 Do not scoff at prophecies, 21 but test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good. 22 Keep away from every kind of evil.

How happy is the man
who has put his trust in the Lord
and has not turned to the proud
or to those who run after lies!

Lord my God, You have done many things—
Your wonderful works and Your plans for us;
none can compare with You.
If I were to report and speak of them,
they are more than can be told.

Mark 11:23......For assuredly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain ,"Be removed and be cast into the sea,"
and does not doubt in his heart , but believes that those things he says will be done,
he will have whatever he says.

11:24.....Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them,
and you will have them....

This is what the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel, says:

for I satisfy the thirsty person
and feed all those who are weak.

At this I awoke and looked around.
My sleep had been most pleasant to me.

Strength and gladness are in His place.

[h=3]Isaiah 51:6[/h]

6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens,
And look on the earth beneath.
For the heavens will vanish away like smoke,
The earth will grow old like a garment,
And those who dwell in it will die in like manner;
But My salvation will be forever,
And My righteousness will not be abolished.

The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours;
The world and all its fullness, You have founded them.
The north and the south, You have created them;
Tabor and Hermon rejoice in Your name.

You have a mighty arm;
Strong is Your hand, and high is Your right hand.
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne;
Mercy and truth go before Your face.

Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound!
They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance.
In Your name they rejoice all day long,
And in Your righteousness they are exalted.

For You are the glory of their strength,
And in Your favor our horn is exalted.
For our shield belongs to the Lord,
And our king to the Holy One of Israel.

(Psalm 89:11-18)

Psalms 30
I will extol You, O Lord, for You have lifted me up,
And have not let my enemies rejoice over me.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]O Lord my God,
I cried to You for help, and You healed me.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]O Lord, You have brought up my soul from Sheol;
You have kept me alive, that I would not go down to the pit.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Sing praise to the Lord, you His godly ones,
And give thanks to His holy name.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]For His anger is but for a moment,
His favor is for a lifetime;
Weeping may last for the night,
But a shout of joy comes in the morning.[SUP]6 [/SUP]Now as for me, I said in my prosperity,
“I will never be moved.”
[SUP]7 [/SUP]O Lord, by Your favor You have made my mountain to stand strong;
You hid Your face, I was dismayed.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]To You, O Lord, I called,
And to the Lord I made supplication:
[SUP]9 [/SUP]“What profit is there in my blood, if I go down to the pit?
Will the dust praise You? Will it declare Your faithfulness?

[SUP]10 [/SUP]“Hear, O Lord, and be gracious to me;
O Lord, be my helper.”
[SUP]11 [/SUP]You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
You have loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness,
[SUP]12 [/SUP]That my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent.
O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

My fave for on those days that seem to be great to bare...

Jesus said"
All is but a blink of the eye compaired to the eternity that awaits us.
In the world you have tribulation, but take courage, I have overcome the world!"

2 Corinthians 12:9,10
"'My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.' ...That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."

an understanding of our weakness apart from Christ and our continued walk of weakness is one of the few offerings we can give to our Lord:)
