Satan has been deceiving the Elect for centuries through the mistranslations of Gods word and by the twisting of doctrines. Take a look at this famous, oft quoted verse from the kjv

Ephesians 6:12 KJV
”For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Now here is that same verse taken from the Geneva bible which predated the kjv by 12 years

Ephesians 6:12 Geneva 1599
12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, and against the worldly governors, the princes of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness, which are in the high places

This verse has been used to pacify believers from involving themselves in government affairs and it is no surprise how the west has devolved into a habitation of devils and every unclean spirit.
Praise Yahweh

How do you square this with the fact that so many Christian nationalists are firm KJV users?

The Complete Jewish Bible says this:

12 For we are not struggling against human beings, but against the rulers, authorities and cosmic powers governing this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm.

13 So take up every piece of war equipment God provides; so that when the evil day comes, you will be able to resist; and when the battle is won, you will still be standing.

KJV:

2For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

[Satan has been deceiving the Elect for centuries through the mistranslations of Gods word and by the twisting of doctrines. Take a look at this famous, oft quoted verse from the kjv ]

Once again your assault on the KJV is unwarranted, and, IMO, is in danger of judgement for disrespecting the Word of God. To suggest that the Lord God would allow the devil to gather together servants of the devil to produce the KJV Bible is simply ludicrous.

The KJV is as good of a Translation of the Word of God as is in existence, get over it!

LOL! That last sentence is simply your opinion, which IMO, isn't worth much.

The KJV is not the word of God. It is a translation of the ancient scrolls (which are the words of God). There are better translations available today, based on more and better sources, written in a language that everyone clearly understands.

We should probably be as involved as was Jesus, Paul, Peter, John, the Apostles, etc...

For myself, I've ran for as many public offices as Jesus did.

I've also only paid the government in their own currency. I've never shared my Kingdom inheritance with them.

Furthermore, let's take what you wrote and apply it to the believers in China, or Iraq, or Afghanistan: "Be more involved in politics!" We'd witness more firing squads and beheadings in the name of Allah and the State.

You're thinking too much like an American. You're supposed to have the mind of Christ the King.

The KJV is certainly the Word of God. And, by the by, I have not seen the Memo from GOD that He appointed you to determine what was or was no His Written Word. Show me that, otherwise, all you say is sinply your opinion. Your just the latest KJV hater to come here, and, I assure you, you will find little support. Were I you, I would concern myself more with my eternity than condemning the Written Word of God.

You give God so little credit for His Power. Believing that He is not powerful enough to have the Holy Spirit inspire those who gather to translate from the Greek and/or Hebrew Scripts. That is your downfall, and makes your argument just another strawman argument,

Hi.. please tell me your logic or proof is not based on 51 years. So between Genveva which came before 51y then later KJV. Well how is it originally written? For me I would take the KJV over Gevena since it does match more the originally text in this case.

Lol that being said not all that translate original text agree. I gave up on trying to debate and what not but ... pfft let me show you with just two.

Eph 6:12 "is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers against the authorities against the powers of this(world's) darkness, [and] against the spiritual [forces] of evil in the heavenly realms."

Eph 6:12 "because not is to us [to you] the wrestling against blood and flesh, but against the principalities against the authorities against the world rulers of the darkness of the age this against the spirituals of the wickedness in the heavenlies"

So I try not to touch these kind of posts since if we just take KJV vs Gev vs Niv, LSB, CSB.. yeah sure you will find something. But how was it originally written/translated and then how others translated it.

Hmm but was the Genvena the 1st? :) nope

geneva 1599 still says "wrestle not against flesh and blood" and worldly governors would be flesh and blood.

I am not a King James "hater". I regard it as an ancient translation that is now more confusing than a modern translation. That is not hating!

Were I you, I would concern myself more with understanding God's word in my native language than condemning someone who doesn't think that the KJV is a useful translation in the 21st Century. Since I am saved, I am not concerned with "my eternity".

And don't tell me that I don't believe that God is not powerful enough to have the Holy Spirit inspire those who gather to translate from the Greek and/or Hebrew Scripts. Of course He is! The problem is that you and others think that the Holy Spirit stopped inspiring translators when the King James Bible was published. Of course, that is absurd.

If the King James Englyshe is such a wonderful language, why don't you use it in everyday communication (such as your post above)? And say hello to your unicorn!

Job 39:10 (KJV): Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?
Psalm 29:6 (KJV):
He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.
Isaiah 34:7 (KJV): And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.

This last verse alone should make anyone think twice about using the KJV as their main Bible.

Here is a far better rendition of that verse from the NIV...

"And the wild oxen will fall with them,
the bull calves and the great bulls.
Their land will be drenched with blood,
and the dust will be soaked with fat."

or from the NRSVue...

"Wild oxen shall fall with them and young steers with the mighty bulls. Their land shall be soaked with blood, and their soil made rich with fat."

or from the NET...

"Wild oxen will be slaughtered along with them, as well as strong bulls. Their land is drenched with blood, their soil is covered with fat."

=> Notice how these modern translations make the meaning of this verse much clearer then the 17th Century Englyshe <=

(And that is just one verse out of many!)

King James wanted an accurate translation so he found the 54 Most renowned linguists and translators in these languages in tbe world to translate the kjv

But we browse the internet for a couple years and determine the 54 translators who revised and re checked for years checkeing each other work in independent groups ….who were recognized as the absolute best in the world are suddenly mistaken and in error

😂

We do so many things to invite doubt of plainly spoken words from God

Ephesians 6:12 Geneva 1599
12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, and against the worldly governors [added but not in the Greek text] , the princes [should not be in italics] of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness, which are in the high places
RECEIVED TEXT
ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ἡμῖν ἡ πάλη πρὸς αἷμα καὶ σάρκα, ἀλλὰ πρὸς τὰς ἀρχάς [principalities], πρὸς τὰς ἐξουσίας [powers], πρὸς τοὺς κοσμοκράτορας [rulers] τοῦ σκότους [of the darkness] τοῦ αἰῶνος τούτου [of this world] , πρὸς τὰ πνευματικὰ τῆς πονηρίας ἐν τοῖς ἐπουρανίοις

As you can see, the Geneva Bible has deviated from the Received Text and added "against the worldly governors". Also, kosmokratoras means more than simply rulers. It means angelic or demonic powers*. Since it is in fact the text, it should not be in italics. So there was no need to pit the Geneva Bible against the KJV.

And all of these powers are actually angelic (not "worldly governors"), therefore "we wrestle not against flesh and blood". "Spiritual wickedness in high places" means spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (or evil angels).

*Strong's Concordance
kosmokratór: a ruler of this world
Original Word: κοσμοκράτωρ, ορος, ὁ
Part of Speech: Noun, Masculine
Transliteration: kosmokratór
Phonetic Spelling: (kos-mok-rat'-ore)
Definition: a ruler of this world
Usage: ruler of this world, that is, of the world as asserting its independence of God; used of the angelic or demonic powers controlling the sublunary world.

Actually, the church in Western world went away from evangelizing and taking the gospel out into the public square and door to door by the end of the 70's. In the 80's, the church entered into politics as an alternative which has led to much weakened churches. Christians today are more interested in politics than reaching the lost.

Nowhere have I said only the KJV translators were inspired byk the Holy Spirit. Don't know where you get that......same place you came up with the KJV NOT being the Word of God I guess......both assumptions are wrong,,,,,,If you do believe God is powerful enough to protect His Word, then how do you surmise the KJV is NOT His word?

I know there are several translations I would not use, but with the ones most accepted by the Church today, IMO, the KJV and the CJB are the two best and closest to mirroring each other in their translation. That is important because it lends credence to both.

Read what translation you want, makes no matter to me, but do not tell folks a particular translation is NOT the Word of God unless God has revealed this to you from a burning bush.........

honestly… i don’t think the brethren are studying scripture diligently… the apostles of old could recite the scripture by memory as they didn’t have access to bibles like we do but most of us cannot say the same, myself included… how many of us are taking the scripture back to its hebrew and greek languages using the internet to trace back to the earliest manuscripts? we wouldn’t know if there were mistranslations unless we were studying these things diligently and comparing the translations for ourselves, personally i want to share these discrepancies with my brethren as i find them so that we can discuss the scripture and enlighten ourselves being led by the spirit of wisdom.. praise Yahweh

All I'm saying is I know a lot of people who use the KJV who are very involved in politics and government affairs, so I don't find your original post that accurate.

To those who truly understand God's word knows that is what the KJV bible is stating. We do try our best to vote for those with the best views for the nation's well being. But truth is this World's system is controlled by Satan and the enticement of evil. So yes we wrestle in the Spirit in prayers fighting the spiritual darkness of this world. One of the things I pray for is that our politicians (especially the President) would get on their knees humbly before God every morning asking for guidance. But ultimately God is ordering everything. When it comes to this worlds evil system intercessory prayer is one of our greatest weapons.

Why don't you continue on to the second sentence??? And the rest of the paragraph???

Is the NIV "the word of God"? Is the NRSVue "the word of God"? Is the NASB "the word of God"? Is the ESV "the word of God"?

You must learn to read more accurately!!!
