According to John 2:19-22 Jesus' crucified dead body was restored to life
just as it was. In other words: when the events recorded at Luke 24:36-43,
John 20:16-17, and John 20:26-29 took place, Jesus' body was not yet
glorified.

FAQ: If Jesus' body wasn't glorified the day of his resurrection; then when?

REPLY: I'm guessing it was during his ascent to Heaven per Acts 1:9-11

Eternal Life is simply another name for the New Heavens and New Earth.
Eternal Life is a *location*, not a state of being.

1John 1:1-2 . .That which was from the beginning, which we have heard,
which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands
have touched-this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. The life
appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the
eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us.

In that passage; eternal life identifies the Word spoken of at John 1:1-3,
and John 1:14, i.e. a sentient being rather than a location.

You believe he is flesh and blood human in heaven?
Did you fail to read what Christ said and what I posted? He had already shed His blood. So He said "flesh and bones". So you do not believe that Christ has His actual resurrected body in Heaven? Then why do you believe anything?

Are you Jehovah Witness?
Thinking Jesus was a man appointed by God to bring his gospel?

Because the hurdle one has to overcome when thinking flesh and blood enter heaven are the scriptures that say otherwise.

Jesus is the door to Eternal Life. We still have to go through the door (through Jesus) to enter in.

John 10:9
"I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture."

John 14:6
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

John entered into the New Heavens and New Earth via the Door...

Revelation 4:1
"After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter."

Jesus was the Door.

FAQ: What percentage of Christ's sheep would you suppose he expects to
lose?

REPLY: The good shepherd doesn't have any lost sheep. What do you take
him for: a run of the mill cowboy? All those that God entrusted to His son's
care are safe and sound.

John 10:9 . . I am the gate; whoever enters through me shall be saved.

Were Christ a common ranch hand; then he wouldn't dare say "shall be" saved;
no, he'd have to tone it down a bit and say "can be" saved. That would leave
him some room for error. But when Christ says "shall be" he's claiming a
0.0% failure rate.

FAQ: Why can't the sheep up and run away of their own free will?

REPLY: Well; they wouldn't get very far because the Father's free will trumps
the sheep's free will.

John 6:39 . .This is the will of the one who sent me; that I should not lose
anything of what He gave me.

So then, were Christ to lose even one of the sheep, he would disappoint the
one who sent him. But Christ never fails to satisfy his Father's expectations.

John 14:31 . . That the world may know that I love the Father, and as the
Father gave me commandment, even so I do.

John 8:29 . .The one who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone,
because I always do what is pleasing to Him.

Were Christ to lose even one of the sheep in his care, he wouldn't be able to
say that he "always" does what is pleasing to God. He might claim some of
the time, or even most of the time, but never all the time.

When people say that it's possible for Jesus to lose sheep; they are actually
casting a vote of no-confidence in his Father's approval rating.

Matt 3:16-17 . . As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the
water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God
descending like a dove and lighting on him. And a voice from heaven said;
"This is My son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased."

Absolutely.
However, I don't think enemies of the gospel deserve respect.

Disagreement in the church is natural.

That which is averse to the gospel from start to finish is not of the church.
When God judges that worthy of damnation, they're not worthy of respect by the church they work to sully with false teachings they boast they spread about.

When people have a bad opinion of our faith, actions like that are contributing factors.
“Absolutely.
However, I don't think enemies of the gospel deserve respect.”

you are making judgements you have absolutely no place making running man is a believer of the gospel I know this again from many interactions and discussions of many detailed subjects regarding all of scripture and specifically the gospel

what's happening here is your too convinced of your own grasp of the Bible and what it says , so then anyone that ever doesn’t agree with your interpretation is going to be “ an enemy of the cross or an enemy of the gospel “

I can assure you without a doubt running man is not in any way an enemy of the gospel, but a believer of the gospel

In a forum like this it’s important to understand this isn’t congregation of official teachers of doctrine ordained by Christ to establish his church or anything

Its a group of many people that have heard about Jesus from the Bible d believe in him , so then they find a reason to study and learn from and about him in discussing the Bible

My point is that if everyone that disagrees with what we think we make our enemy we’re going to end up with no friends because everyone understands certain amount that they have learned over time others understand more others still More

people looking to discuss the Bible arent enemies they are seeking after the same faith and trying to understand what the Bible says to believe

if you consider your own self a mature advocate calling others enemies consider positions like this

“And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, in meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; and that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2:24-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

if someone doesn’t agree with you and your convinced state a good solid case as you would to someone you cared about and then let the seed sink in and give it time to root

abut also be willing to hear what others like running man are saying because maybe not always but often others like running man have a good way to make you think about something you might not have considered before .

aid we don’t make ourselves enemies because we disagree we could maybe get closer together in understanding not even considering “ who was right and who was wrong “ but instead “ whats really there in the Bible we love and believe ? “

running man is no enemy of the gospel there are many witnesses to this , you’ll be hard pressed to find one here that’s “ an enemy of the gospel “

you’ll just find a lot of different thinking and ideas because you’ll find a lot of different people from a lot of different places who heard alot of different things growing up and getting old all who believe in Jesus and probably came here to discuss the Bible because they believe it

If we can’t as Christian’s at the least get along discussing Gods word heaven help us when real storm comes against the church.

Here's another clueless Newbie trying to show that he understands the meaning of certain Scriptures.

So no, I am not a JW but you are rather presumptuous and clueless since you do not understand the meaning of the resurrection. If you do not believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is fully God and also fully sinless Man who has ascended to Heaven in His resurrected body (with the marks of His crucifixion) then you are in deep trouble. And all the saints will also have their resurrected bodies in Heaven. I don't believe you bothered to study 1 Corinthians 15 as I had suggested.

How about "Satan's Real storm" of almost 2000 years now, we are all Confused
and
all Divided Up! May the Great Grace Departure Occur soon, so then we
"all may Be ONE" In Christ Jesus! Amen?:

1Co 1:9-10 "God is faithful, by Whom ye were called unto the fellowship of His SON Jesus Christ our Lord. Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment."

Eph 4:1-3 "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."

Satan defeats us when all we do is judge, criticize, "bite and
devour one another," and then, to top that off, we "lose rewards"
At the Judgment Seat Of Christ, Correct?

You certainly understand I'm sure that their first impressions for new arrivals is what shows that new arrival who they are?

As pertains to the claim he has a firm grasp of the gospel, that is not proven by his own remarks concerning the particulars.

I appreciate you are defending what you know of him. That is not at all what he showed me.

Consistency in behavior is key.

no matter how much we know this is also true

“For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭3:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

because we arent letting it sink in and be written on the conscience and heart

We need to walk this way instead of in strife to have an effective message

“And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, in meekness instructing those that oppose themselves;

( why would we bother doing that ? )

if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; and that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2:24-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

that’s opposed and contrary to this approach which comes from and breeds and antagonizes the flesh reactions and division me among us

“For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?”

If we argue and contend it breeds grudges and hard feelings and divisions and groups within the body it’s driven by the flesh part of people the pride and foolishness of man

the spirit is driven by love and care for others wanting them to hear the truth and acknowledge the gospel because we believe the gospel saves souls as Jesus said.

So we dont build walls and conduct wars we communicate what we believe the truth is in an orderly and respectful way in hopes someone would hear and acknowledge the truth and be saved. It’s never to be right or prove a point but to offer what we believe is true and relevant in hopes of another that was actually opposed might acknolwedge and believe

and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; ( the law seperate d Jews from gentiles ) for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; and that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: and came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; in whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: in whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.”

yeah I understand some Christians judge people the instant they meet them even upon a first impression
That's what we have as people. First impressions of one another.

Some Christians think we are not to judge. That's not true.

I'd hope you'd intend your tolerance and calm advice posts to others besides just me.

Scathing remarks by the likes of Nehemiah ,as example, is uncalled for.
Children can be forgiven.

Others though that insists on false doctrine that undermines as they intend the gospel are to be corrected. If repeatedly committing to the same behavior, rebuked. If continuing after that, recognized as one who is not bearing the truth, but is in service to the adversary.

Even Satan appears as an angel of light. And can quote scripture.

That behaviors such as opposition to the gospel is tolerated, even defended by some, is tragic betrayal of Christ's sacrifice and truth.

I know your heart is in the right place. However, I shall never apologize for standing against a false teacher. Souls are in the care of God. His truth is our responsibility.

There are communities that do not allow such as that, adversaries of the gospel.

And for good reason.

I also believe the Bible refers to two different concepts that are both called eternal life.

after believers become

God sends the

believers also become, simultaneously,

which I think is another way of saying

And, critically, since Jesus Christ is

then they would have eternal life in them. That is the first concept. I believe this is what 1 John 5:13 means by "have eternal life" earlier in the same chapter. I believe Jesus Christ was referring to this relationship in the Vine and Branches example

Therefore I believe a vital element of this relationship is the disciple's

I believe that someone in Jesus Christ has the ability to

would no longer either, because that is Jesus Christ.

I believe God will repay each man, including disciples with Jesus Christ in them, according to their

where they will have no more

hence the term "eternal life", and also

Believe the Bible before me, however.
and a nice little song to my brothers and sisters reading :)
I would also add, even though the Bible seems to refer to two different concepts as "Eternal life"
The first in John 3:16 which comes through faith in Jesus Christ

and the second that Jude 1:9 calls "eternal life" in John 5:28-29, Romans 2:7, and 1 Corinthians 15:53, etc. which comes at the resurrection at the Last Trumpet, where there is no more mortality.

They both are Jesus Christ, not just the first one. I believe this is what Jesus Christ meant here.

John 11:25-26
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me will live, even though he dies. And everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”

and the second that Jude 1:9 calls "eternal life" in John 5:28-29, Romans 2:7, and 1 Corinthians 15:53, etc. which comes at the resurrection at the Last Trumpet, where there is no more mortality.

Oops, Jude 1:21, not Jude 1:9,
I apologize.

And for good reason.
honestly my opinion would be the person accusing and judging and calling another Christian an enemy because of thier own flawed judgement is probably what an enemy of the gospel would do

and yes there are a lot of cults out there or “ communities “ notice those places never end up well though following some isolationist claiming by be a prophet and leader teaching us to cut people off who doesnt agree with thier specialized understanding of every aspect of the Bible

The gospel says

Judge not, that ye be not judged.

For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:1-2‬ ‭

If I met a person that claims the believe in Jesus and then judge in my heart “ this person said something I don’t agree with therefore they are an enemy of the gospel “

Im overstepping my place as a Christian believer because I’m not an Old Testament prophet or an apostle and have absolutely no place saying any such thing of someone that calls on Christs name as lord believers belong to Christ now

Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. But why dost thou judge thy brother? Or why dost thou set at nought thy brother?

for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, And every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭14:4, 9-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

If you have a discussion with a bunch of people here about anything you are eventually going to come to points you don’t agree upon because your two different people that lived two lives and have heard different parts of the gospel and experienced Christ in two very different ways through life

a discussion forum isn’t a place to when we disagree go to war and label each other enemies it’s a place to “ discuss “ reasonably and state a solid case according to scripture to interact peacefully and maturely with other believers who don’t agree with everything we think that’s what a forum like this is for if we are able to be humble we can learn a lot from others or even just reading through some discussions

if we insist everyone agrees with us or they ere an enemy there’s no way to ever convert anyone or convince anyone of the truth and discussing the Bible would become irrelevant “ you either know what I know and fully agree or you don’t and I hereby cut you off from
My sect in the church

a seminary is for a teacher to spread his ideas and insist everyone must agree but a public forum is about free discussion we can make it a war and accusations and division and strife and ruin it or could just discuss and see who knows what and what makes sense and steer to come closer together it’s gay way in any group of believers they can argue and strive and accuse and judge or they can act like brothers and sisters who care about one another and actually want to just learn a better understanding of the Bible and we can by eliminating strife and embracing peace and discussion

everyone hasn’t read and studied and practiced all the same things everyone isn’t old some are babes in faith others are mature and others are old in the church we have to start here with this principle removing ourselves from any design upon the judgement seat and the acknowledging of our date to appear before it instead like everyone else

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

that’s why none of us has any place judging anyone as an enemy simply because we don’t agree instead we need to start in Jesus doctrine and let that be our guide

“But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall be given into your bosom.

For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:35-38‬ ‭KJV‬‬
