Hello, I was wondering if the Bible says anything about how NOT to preach the gospel. I can only think of, don't show pearls before swine etc?

Also, anyone have any tips on solo evangelising, as I'm probably going to have to do it alone. Feel like a cheat at the moment because I haven't done it yet. And I'm already dreading verbal door to door preaching. So maybe God pointed me to tract design for now? Any help appreciated, thanks.

Have you ever considered getting together with someone and having an open air service in a park or such? You reach a lot more people and its an informal place to talk to those that might be interested. Also,you may reach people and not even realize you have.

I don't think that happens much in the UK because well the UK church is a bit quiet and limp. As far as I can tell anyway. Hopefully not always.

I think the best and most efficient soulwinning method is face to face.
However if you dont like that type of interaction I'd go with your tract idea, I think its also a great way.

The reason I consider face to face soulwinning the most efficient is because you can interact with people live and answer their questions, maybe share contacts and keep in touch so you can help them grow in the Lord and lead em to a church.

Thats just my 2cents tho! There is NO WRONG WAY to share the gospel that i can think of, the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation at the end of the day! Tract, face to face, internet, it dont matter!

Yeah I'll probably do a YouTube channel at some point, but I think if you can walk n talk, tracts without speaking or YouTube non-interaction video's are just kidding yourself/myself. It's just staying away from awkwardness​ because I'm/they are a bit chicken, maybe. That's what I think of myself anyway. Evil thoughts make me think of crushing embarrassment, slurpy in the face or something else like big dogs. Woof, ahhh. Hehe.

Can we use Jesus's example?

Matthew 4:23 (NLT)

So if this the example to use we should teach, preach then heal?

Jesus sent people out two by two.

I think that folks shouldn't be alone when preaching the gospel to people who may not have heard it before or might be hostile to it....Even Paul had Barnabus for some of his ministry and then other believers traveled with him.

I know a lady who is really friendly and listens gets everyone around her to talk to her and tel her their life story within 5 minutes it seems like.

She invites them to church, gives them encouraging cards with Bible verses and listens to their life at least once a week.

I believe she is evangelizing

Your probably right, but it's difficult enough to get out n find friends, let alone one to evangelise with.

Something that may help you in this. A little word of wisdom to remember:

It's not your job to convince them. It's your job to tell them.


Just remember - not everybody believed Jesus. Not everybody welcomed Him. Many drove Him out of their cities. A servant is not greater than his Master. If they hated the Master they will hate you too. Never adjust your message to appeal to the audience. Just share the gospel.


This will help you in times of discouragement.

Sending them out two by two would not have any bearing on them having protection from those that are hostile to Christianity,for they are instructed to not fight physically no matter the circumstance,unless it is a psychological advantage,but then there is always more than 2 people they deal with at one time when reaching out to people,sometimes a whole town that is against the preaching of the cross.

It could be out of the mouth of 2 or 3 witnesses,let everything be established,and 2 people back each other up when witnessing,which Jesus said that the Father and Him are both witnesses to the truth.

Yes,but who can find a person that would agree with them concerning whatever they believe is the correct interpretation of the Bible,for them to witness side by side,for they might end up fighting with each other,in the midst of the people,being detrimental to the agenda they are trying to achieve,lol.
