My point was that people are supposed to make a decision about God and all they can do is look at what they can see and Christianity has a pretty bad name right now. It would be much better if God just came down and showed everybody personally.
I don’t even know what it means when you say God is not about rules but relationships. I wouldn’t have much of a relationship with my wife if I could never see, hear, touch, etc. her.

No, I don’t but to just say that it Hass to be God is presumptuous. It is honest and humble to say I don’t know.
Let me ask you a question. NASA says space, time and matter had a beginning. Meaning nothing existed before space, time and matter. So how did creation begin using nothing?

It is deeper theology. Hard for you to understand right now. No big deal.

I don’t know how it began. We don’t know everything about science yet and we may be able to figure it out someday but to attribute the start of the universe To God would be just a guess. Even if it is true that he created everything that doesn’t mean that he is good or deserves to be worshiped.

Christianity has been dredged through the sewer, no question about it, but when that happens I go back to the gospels and Jesus actual words.

“I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.” Mahatma Gandhi

I saw the Bakkers story and am aware of the crimes Christians have carried out - however read the words of Jesus in the Gospels they are inspirational and they are the words of god coming down himself.

The evidence of God is written in history. Especially in the Jewish nation.
Those who seek shall find.
The more man tries to explain away any devine intervention the more foolish the explanation becomes.
God has covered all the bases for a weak mind to the so called intelligent to consider.
There is a order in the cosmos that cannot be denied. What holds this order together?
The word of God has never been disproven it is just unbelief that separates the masses.

Respectfully, you are not hearing my point. Most people will not go to the Bible To read anything because they see no need to. You on the other hand want it to be true so you read it with that in mind.

If humans aren't intelligent enough to understand humans don't make the best examples of anything but being a human. Then those humans have a reason to not want to believe. And it has [nothing] to do with what they see. It's how they view the idea of God from their own perspective. They will say God was mean in the O.T., or that God let's bad things happen to good people like it's only supposed to ever happen to bad people, they will use God doesn't make Himself known therefore He does not exist, they might simply just say God is about 10 commandments which equals RULES and I will not be ruled by anyone/thing but my self.

The majority of people have reasoned their disbelief way before having examples of fools failing to represent God correctly!

I believe what you were missing is the idea that most people do not go back into history to study yet and most people don’t think about the order in the cosmos. All they see is what’s in their lives which is a lot of chaos, suffering and misery with a little happiness and joy mixed in.

That saint is found in the first verse of the bible.

In the beginning ...(time).... God created the heavens...(space)....and the earth...(matter).

We don’t know everything about science yet
In science, all the theories, all the rules, all the experiments are subject to observation. The results are completely dependent on the observers perspective.

Respectfully, you are not hearing my point. Most people will not go to the Bible To read anything because they see no need to. You on the other hand want it to be true so you read it with that in mind.
Most people are so brainwashed its difficult for them to have any independent thoughts. The bible is imperfect as is all mans creations but I believe it contains more truth than not.

Agree this is why I am starting here. That was the first and biggest miracle. Literally a supernatural event. Beyond nature to occur.

But even then the word of God prevails....jesus said..in this world you will suffer much tribulation, but be of good cheer..I have overcome the world.
Or
Cast your burdens upon me ..for my yoke is easy...my burden light.

You have a very good point in the last paragraph and I agree with it. What you said in the first paragraph has some truth in it also in that people do look at God’s actions in the old testament and see a problem. Even Christians have a problem with the old testament and try to stay away from it.

We are not to God yet. Jumping the gun. I agree. Why call to worship if you do not know who this God is or even if God exists.

Let me ask. What is the absence of space, time and matter?

I’m surprised that you said the Bible is not perfect. Are you saying that God did not preserve his word and that we cannot trusted?
