When they have created plant life, animal/creature and human beings then give us a shout :D of course their reply to this is "give us severalf millions of years and we'll show you"

In the mean I noticed how bad this world is, so much trouble so much corruption so much deception, is Bible prophecy being fulfilled?
Right,, well it's the ninth hour in the morning and 6 mins 30 seconds where I live ET USA.. would you agree or disagree?? Do you go by minutes and seconds where you live when it's not written in scripture what's makes you believe in time as you know it today??

I wonder if the first created human being adam gazed at such wonder in the heavens? :)
The mist probably would have hampered that. Though that's on belief that in the beginning there was no clouds for rain to fall

I never replied to post #221 nor #223 because I am not sure what you mean to denote. Can you please elaborate on the time part?

I always look at the bigger picture or have a wider perspective on as many things as I possibly can, I try to not have a narrow vision of things, I try to keep an open mind on matters. Look at what The Cronin Group are doing, notice that they use all manner of Intelligent Purposeful Design mechanisms and notice they use no mechanisms of Evolution?

It never stopped me from gazing at and observing the glory when i'm stood in my back yard, although I have to say I wouldn't recognize mars or venus, haha.

Yep not many other human beings there except for Adam. I can only assume what the earths condition was like in the beginning.

what I'm saying is a lot of people are stead fast in not believing in things outside of scripture but these people will look at their clock to know its 11:24am and believe it so with their whole hearts. No where in scripture is the account for minutes and seconds which Do make up a 24 hour day how did this belief be so assured without scripture.

Gen 2:5-6,

It's not saying the whole planet, only "Adam's Earth". (world)

Yes I agree,, and a telescope makes gazing at the heavens a lot of fun and up close. Seeing Mars for the first time threw a telescope is quite amazing sight to see.

I think many look to the Bible for guidance and how they should walk with their God (so to speak), walking in righteousness, to please their God rather than follow mankinds secularism and teachings.

it seems some will believe anything as long as it is not in the Bible - like creation in six days = no never = six seconds, minutes, hours, weeks, months, years maybe but not six days - btw via google just watch[Evolution vs God[ - wincam

But you must realize, that Hebrew "yom" is not English "day" only. It has several meanings. So the more accurate way to describe your feelings is - "it is not in MY TRANSLATION OF BIBLE".

The Sun rises on the east horizon and sets on the west horizon no matter where you are on this planet.

Somebody a very long time ago started tapping his/her foot as soon as the sun set and stopped the instant the sun rose again.

The foot tapped 829,440 times from sun up to sun down.

Later they called the taps minutes and went from there

As I guess it :)-

Or blinking the eyes :)

Egyptians designed the first dials and thus gained this knowledge from a source.

Actually I was wrong. That person would have to be on the equator.

Trof, you try, but it just doesn't stick. Context determines meaning. So yes, of course 'yom' has different meanings in different books/passages etc. That doesn't mean its usage in early Genesis means anything other than day, as in the 24-hour understanding of the word. It's only ever questioned in the early chapters of Genesis. I wonder why that is?

Well and would have to be tapping through out the night as well to complete a 24 hour

Source, please. Because that sounds completely ridiculous and like a method fraught with errors.
