Ezekiel Chapter 40

I want to backup to the closing verses of chapter 39.

Verse 28. Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.

Then they shall know that I am The Lord there God: That is the whole purpose. Our Father loves His children, and when you return that Love He does take care of you. Going into captivity to the Father is a beautiful thing; it means you are held by Him He holds the strings of your heart, your mind, and you want to serve Him. You want to be loved by Him, You want his leadership, you want His blessings, and He is always there for you. How precious it is when we read these verses that are just about to take us into the millennium. That wonderful time of teaching a day when every knee will bow to the Lord Jesus Christ every knee. It will not stay that way over the thousand years again but that is how it will begin

Verse 29.Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

What is the Lords Spirit, what is Gods Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit and when He pours out His Spirit it touches the heart of them that are attuned to it; That is those who have ears to hear and eyes to see the precious working of the Living God.

What do we have to look forward to in the upcoming chapters? The battle of Armageddon and Haman GOG. Who fights them? God made it very clear I will I Am That I Am will fight these battles. We are entering the Millennium here. How do you know? The temple is about to be built. Jesus Christ will be in this temple that is how you will know that this is the millennium. This temple will be different from Solomon's temple because all the measurements are1/7th larger. As we get ready to enter this study you must understand that the 7th trump has already sounded, all m7 seals are open and all 7 vials have been poured out; that is the wrath of God and we come to the time of teaching we come to the very events that happen once we have changed from flesh bodies into spiritual bodies.

Chapter 40 verse 1. In the five and twentieth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was smitten, in the selfsame day the hand of the LORD was upon me, and brought me thither.

The Lord is going to show Ezekiel something.

Verse 2. In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of a city on the south.

The very high mountain. This is no doubt Zion. There it would have been to the south. Don't forget you are in a spiritual body remember that as we move forward in this chapter.

Verse 3. And he brought me thither, and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate.

This reed was the measuring reed that would be used to measure the very temple of God.

Verse 4. And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for to the intent that I might shew them unto thee art thou brought hither: declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel.

I want you to share it with them. I want you to show them what is in store for the during the millennium.

Verse 5.And behold a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man's hand a measuring reed of six cubits long by the cubit and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed.

A wall on the out side of the house: This would be the outer wall. A reed is about 10 ft. a cubit is between 16 to 18 inches it depends on the length of the kings arm from his elbow to his finger tips.
