The shedding of blood by God represents the future shedding of blood of Christ. This became the entire basis of the sacrificial system. The clothing given by God represents the righteous covering of Christ.
OT saints may not have known their redeemer's name but they were looking forward to Him the moment He was promised in Genesis 3.
How much they understood is open to debate. That they knew isn't. Even as far back as Job they knew. I know that my Redeemer lives.
He specifically calls Him...Redeemer. He anticipated a Savior.
Amen This is a pattern of the gospel it’s how a testament is given forst God speaks a word then the mediator of that word sheds the blood according to the word spoken by God

“Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood. For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭9:18-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Moses word and animal blood is a pattern for Jesus words in the gospel before he shed the blood of the New Testament

“For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭9:16-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus had to preach the word of God forst to make the covenant and then he shed his blood for remission according to his words

New Testament word of the testator

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Then he shed his blood of the covenant spoken

Oh I just have to comment on those colors wow
Often I try to mute the background colours a bit (so they don't take away from the message),
but there has been so much rainbow talk recently I just had to go all out with it, because the
rainbow not only belongs to God, but is a symbol of His promises to us, which we know He keeps!

amen your goal was met that’s just the definition of vibrant and really just is inspiring the amount of love and care that comes from those panels , I suppose I’m not artistic so it just seems amazing .

i have no ability to coordinate color but naturally ot seems you have a gift for that very thing always just really enjoy the panel art and the message so cool

I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭9:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

everything gets hijacker’s and perverted the rainbow is meant by zgod to signify his covenant , but man made it signify things God calls an abomination

chrostmas is a time to celebrate the gift of Jesus cjrost given to us by our Heavenly Father who loves us and wills that we be saved from the end of all things not of Christ.

a man made it into a celebration of greed and sales and fantastical story of a magical fat guy ( who looks a lot like me lol ) with a beard and belly and 12 flying roondeer and a sled giving gifts Tom people if they are good and giving lumps of coal if they are bad

Dont get me started on Easter bunny …..but my point is the world hears God but they keep mocking and perverting every good thing he’s given us we always have done this

“And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:31‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭3:17‬ ‭

after ten generations of Gods forebearance

“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭6:5-6, 11-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Gods intention wasn’t to create a world of evil and wickedness but we do it because we distort and pervert everything good he gives us now we have the treasure of God his only begotten calling us by the gospel and we again like Easter or “ Xmas “ or a rainbows significance …..

the world is truly as the Bible teaches us

“And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Since God spoken to man about life and death in Eden, the enemy has sought to change the truth into a false narrative by acclaiming what God himself said about it isnt true but you need to instead listen to me who will tell you the opposite

The devils plot is the same today Jesus is the truth and he’s trying always to blind us to it or lead us astray from it rainbows for instance in fifty years no one will remember about the biblical meaning everyone will associate it with things God said are sinful and abominable from the beginning to the end to celebrate those things while forgetting Gods design and will for things is what will bring the world to its end

Thank you so much, Pilgrimshope! I realize they are not everybody's cup of tea, and some have
made incredible charges against them (such as they are demonically inspired, as if the devil/Satan
just loves loves loves to spread the beautiful Word of God
.:unsure::censored::unsure::oops:), and I have modified what
I am doing up to a point, for instance very few with depictions of anyone taken to be Christ, as some
find that offensive, funny really since they will go on and on about how we are not under the law but
then act as if I am breaking the greatest commandment. Also my skill level and style have naturally
progressed over the period of time I have been doing this. It would be discouraging if it didn't! And
I let people know on a regular basis that I am collaging, that is to say, I did not draw or paint that
woman's face. I sourced it from a site that offers such things free for people to use in their personal
projects with the caveat of no financial gain. Nor is accreditation required; I am fine with both, as
I am not looking to profit from my panels, plus it would be fairly difficult to keep track of all the
ephemera I have collected, having at last count 12 to 13 thousand pieces to build with (my images
folder has over 22,000 files in 57 folders, but many of them are older files which I barely look at).
I do make multiple edits to each piece as I add it, be it a border, frame, background, flower, face
whatever, starting with position and sizing, and then colour, contrast, hue, saturation, brightness/lightness
and opacity etc. I like starting with a face someone has already applied several filters to and then,
because the filters have made the eyes chunky/lacking detail, I replace the eyes with much more
real looking ones, fix/blend/cover many of the bloopies on the face, sometimes add a different nose
and mouth also, with the final face being made up of maybe at least five different faces at the end
including the hair which I also try to improve. I do a lot of erasing LOL. I did learn some of the
photoshop skills I use at work, but mostly work detailed sizing and flattening and removing channels
and compression so we could print the file the photographer gave us; retouching was mostly done by
others. My job has always been colour correcting and printing, and even as a non-believer I gave credit
to the Spirit of the Universe for the fact of landing my first lab job, since they did not want to hire me
with no experience (I kept applying anyways, because it was the only thing I knew I wanted to do),
and I started on the very day of my twenty first birthday. All glory to God.

All that to say, thank you for your support .:D

well sister I’d say of what you do wasn’t effective for some no one would be accusing you of things , that’s usually what happens when light starts shining someone has to try to put out the flame real quick through accusation and some sort of nitpicking or fallacy or rumor

i think what you share is inspiring but I’m a visual person often your panels inspire a study for myself and just simple short tonthe point things to consider

satan doesn’t want people sharing the word of life which you always seem to do in my own humble opinion

don’t let the critics affect what your doing it’s between you and the lord and he isn’t confused about it

always a light in my opinion to find somewhere when your involved I mean that sincerely

Please read all. Thanks.

Yes, looking back we can see the types and pictures in those examples, but that's all they are...types and pictures. One cannot put their trust in a type and receive forgiveness of sins and everlasting life. Only faith in the finished work of the cross can take away sins. Adam and Eve did not realize the cross as God provided them coats of skin for covering. The cross of Jesus Christ is not understood in Genesis 3:15 unless you have the rest of the story. You claim they must have known and yet, there is zero evidence that any OT saint look forward to the cross for the forgiveness of sins.

The word redeemer means deliverer or savior. Israel was looking for a redeemer to save them from their enemies as Zacharias, filled with the Holy Spirit, prophesied saying...

Luke 1
7 And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying,
68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
69 And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;
We see the cross but they were looking for a Messiah to rescue them from their enemies.
70 As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:
71 That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;Their salvation was being saved from their enemies
72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;
73 The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,
74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,
75 In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

The cross of Jesus Christ was a mystery until after it occurred. The entire OT is filled with violence and blood shed as Satan set out to destroy the promised seed before it would grow up in power and stomp his head and rule. Satan wants to rule the earth and he would stop at nothing to kill or pervert the seed line of Genesis 3:15. The very first murder occurred by Satan using Cain to kill the promise seed of Genesis 3:15. God did not panic, but replaced Abel with Seth.

25 And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.

And off we go throughout the OT, attack after attack...Satan attacking the seed line and God stepping in and protecting the seed line with all means necessary.

All that is necessary for salvation is to place your faith in Christ. All you need to understand is that God either will as in the OT or has as in the NT make a way for sinners to be redeemed. There is no requirement to know His name or even understand the means. All that has ever been necessary, or will be necessary for salvation is faith in God. It doesn't matter that you believe in the Father or the Son. What matters is that you have believed what God has said.
You have divided times and dispensation according to the fulness of God's revelation concerning salvation. You miss the greatest factor. When Jesus asked who He was, Peter wasn't blessed because he correctly identified Jesus. He was blessed because God had revealed Jesus to him. That's exactly, on some level, God did with all the OT saints. You can receive that or not. But that's how it works.

If salvation was another way other than the shed blood of Jesus on the cross for sin, then why did Christ have to die? If those in the OT were saved without the cross, then why the cross?

What I am saying is those OT saints were not even saved like you and I. They were not made new creatures in Christ. They were not sealed by the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption. They were not washed in the blood of Christ. They were not absent from the body and present with the Lord. When they died, they went to a holding place called Abraham's bosom. Why? Because they had no received everlasting life present with the Lord. They were being held in captivity until Christ could set them free.

There is only 1 way. But God only has to purpose something for Him to consider it done. That's because if God decrees a thing, it will most assuredly come to pass.
For example, read Romans 8:30. Have you been glorified? Not actually. But God speaks of all those who are justified as being glorified already also. Why? Because it's a certainty.
Old Testament saints didn't know His name was Jesus. Most probably didn't realize He would hang on a cross. But, to every believer, they knew God would redeem them.

You are correct that salvation was different. But the difference isn't so much in alternative but in degree. What I mean is, that salvation was always by grace through faith. But while I do believe they had the Holy Spirit, it was only sprinkled out the OT and was poured out at Pentecost.
