well you have to remember that women are not as logical or intelligent as men

while we debate theology they are more interested in knitting patterns :)
I'm desperately hoping this post is a joke???

I don't knit. I did when I was young, for money. It was a business. I soon found being a silver jeweler made more money, and then being a teacher. I gave up knitting forever when I got Rheumatoid Arthritis. Even though I would love to have some real wool mittens and a hat for our cold winters. Sigh!

I have been reading theology since I became a Christian. I went to Seminary, and in fact found the most outstanding students of theology, languages, etc, etc to be women. Now, it may only be because you have to KNOW you are called to go to Seminary as a woman, and excel or you don't belong there, whereas many men are NOT called, and really have no interest in serving God.

However, I have met some very brilliant men who were amazing preachers, even if they flunked out of Hebrew the first time. LOL. I pray for many of the men who are God- called, that God would work through them and the gospel would be proclaimed and the flock discipled.

So would you like to debate theology with me?? I am currently on vacation, again, and I have been quite ill, but in a week or so when I am off the anti-biotics, I would love to discuss anything you want. As long as it has to do with the Word of God.

The thing I find about most Christian men in real life, is that they are more interested in sports or cars than theology.

And I am NOT joking, sadly!

On my thread concerning Genesis, the extent of your "debate" was
that I'm just a nut job not worthy of any sort of intellectual response.
Yeah, you're a master debater, brother.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
(Gal 3:28)
Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
(Eph 2:15)

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
(2Co 5:17)

That's where the rubber meets the road.

I think I get it, your saying God has a split personality?
if you think adam was created a god then you could say that Eve was made in the image of both. But scripture does not say that.

and your logic is illogical.

I was just wondering where it is that the females fit into all of this?

Considering that when studied, one finds out that they are the true hero's of the OT.

I'm just saying, that with all this debate about the Father and Son, and reffering to The Holy Spirirt always in a male context; It just seems to me that the ladies sure get the short end of the stick.

We men should treat women as we would have them treat us.

I am more than happy to correct your various doctrinal errors within the limits of your irrational comprehension; perhaps we could start our own thread:)

I am willing to discuss the original Hebrew and its implications any time you like; where you and I differ is that I take the text at face value whereas you toss the obvious meaning of the text in the bin and wander off on disconnected fantasies

Would you like your wife to buy you some feminine hygiene products and get you a nice bra at Walmart?
These are the words of Jesus Christ:

You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Matt 19:19 RSV

I don't need the things you mentioned. A twelve-string guitar would be nice, though I am not married.

Its ok! I forgive you your arrogance and your selfish pride and cruelty. I hope Huckleberry can do the same. Looking forward to debating with you using the original Hebrew and Greek when I am not dizzy and sick!

No sir, I don't toss anything out.
I savor every Word.
What you consider "disconnected fantasies", I consider logical reasoning.
Give me a supposed fantasy and I'll give you my logical reason.

James 1:26 If any man among you seeme to be religious, & bridleth not his tongue, but deceiueth his owne heart, this mans religion is vaine.

You must know something they didn't. </sarcasm>
That's quite the indictment you've made there, kid.
Confirmed:
You have zero credibility.

This is Christian Chat, ya know, not Abomination Chat.

Deut 22:5 “A woman shall not wear man’s clothing, nor shall a man put on a woman’s clothing; for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God. (NASB)

Showing weakness ( Like compassion, mercy, and love) is a feminist behavior, and which it is uncommon for someone that is very strict in their ways that doesn't want to change.

Acts 7:51“You stiff-necked people! Your hearts and ears are still uncircumcised. You are just like your ancestors: You always resist the Holy Spirit!

John 12:40
“He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts, nor turn—and I would heal them.”

Acts 28:27
For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’

Matthew 19:8
Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning.
