hi people. i saw this conversation going on and i want to make a separate article about it because i wanna see how we can reconcile these verses:

Mat 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Rev 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

so we have few vs great multitude, rev 5:9 confirms these great multitude are saved.

have at it bros, i ask for your views on the harmonizing of this! or explanation.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
It is still a few in proportion to the number of souls not saved. There are a great multitude of drops of water in a pond- yet that is still very few compared to how many drops of water are in the ocean.

They say the population of the earth today is 7.4 billion people.

If 100 million people were in heaven that would be a great multitude of people,and on earth it is a great multitude of people,but compared to all the people who has ever lived,and died,on earth,there is very few that find salvation.

If we take the percentage of 100 million people to 7.4 billion people,it would be about .0135 percentage.

Daniel 7:10 states that ten thousand times ten thousand stood before the throne,which is 100 million people,which I thought that maybe it would be lower.

But there will be many saved that never heard the word of God at the great white throne judgment.

Creation testifies that there is a God by the things made,and that He loves people,for He provided food,and the means to make clothing,and shelter,so the world is without excuse,so the ones that never heard the word of God,or not sufficiently,will be judged by the 2 greatest commandments by their belief in a higher power,and their love towards people,and their conscience.

And it would be less percentage of the people saved if it were from Jesus' time to today,and even less percentage of people if it were from the time of Adam and Eve to today.

So in heaven it is a great multitude,but on earth compared to all the people who ever lived,or died,it would be very few people that find salvation.

It's all relative..

How many people have existed on earth over the generations since the time of Abraham? indeed since the times of Noah? How many billions of people? 10 Billion? 20 Billion and lets say that only a minority of that number end up saved? Lets take a figure of say 5% of them saved.. How many would be 5% of 20 Billion? That would equal 1 Billion people. Now imagine being John, trasported in the spirit to the end times and seeing a crowd numbering in the vacinity of 1 Billion saved people..

Could any man start counting that crowd and ever finish counting it in their life time? Nope..

Would the crowd be few in proportion to the entire population of humans who ever lived? Yep..
