Those that believe in the rapture and catching away of the church before the Great Tribulation comes upon the earth have good and sound doctrine. Don't be swerved by these amillennialist that would have you to believe otherwise. They have the wrong understanding concerning the nature of God and Christ's relationship to the church. They are very confused concerning the nation of Israel and the promises that have been made to them, even though they are at present in unbelief. The church is not Israel, never has been and never will be.

Through the cross God has called both Jews and Gentiles to be one in Christ and those that have believed are both one in Christ. The nation of Israel as a whole has rejected Christ and God will deal with them in the 70th week of the Great Tribulation (the time of Jacob's trouble) and will turn their iniquity away from them and they will see and believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is in you and testifies to this truth and not another. Be confident and reject boldly those that would try to persuade you otherwise. Keep the faith that you have been given and hold fast to that truth so that you may be rooted and grounded in the faith.

What is Dispensationalism?

Dispensationalism is a form of premillennialism originating among the Plymouth Brethren in the early 1830's. The father of dispensationalism, John Nelson Darby, educated as a lawyer and ordained Anglican priest, was one of the chief founders of the Plymouth Brethren movement, which arose in reaction against the perceived empty formalism of the Church of England. To the Brethren the true "invisible" church was to come out of the apostate "visible" Church, rejecting such forms as priesthood and sacraments.

Dispensational theology centers upon the concept of God's dealings with mankind being divided into (usually) seven distinct economies or "dispensations", in which man is tested as to his obedience to the will of God as revealed under each dispensation.

Dispensationalists see God as pursuing two distinct purposes throughout history, one related to an earthly goal and an earthly people (the Jews), the other to heavenly goals and a heavenly people (the church).Dispensationalists believe that in the Old Testament God promised the Jewish people an earthly kingdom ruled by Messiah ben David, and that when Christ came He offered this prophesied kingdom to the Jews. When the Jews of the time rejected Christ and the earthly kingdom, the promise was postponed, and the "mystery form" of the kingdom - the church - was established.

The church, according to dispensational doctrine, was unforeseen in the Old Testament and constitutes a "parenthesis" in God's plan for Israel. In the future, the distinction between Jew and Gentile will be reestablished and will continue throughout all eternity. The "parenthesis", or church age, will end at the rapture when Christ comes invisibly to take all believers (excepting OT saints) to heaven to celebrate the "marriage feast of the Lamb" with Christ for a period of seven years.God's program for the Jews then resumes with the tribulation, Antichrist, bowls of wrath, 144,000 Jews preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, and Armageddon.

Then, the Second (third, if you count the preTrib rapture) Coming, the instantaneous conversion of the entire nation of Israel, the resurrection of the Tribulation and Old Testament saints, and the "sheep and goats" judgment. The "goats" will be cast into hell, the "sheep" and the believing Jews will enter the millennium in natural human bodies, marrying, reproducing, and dying. The "mystery church" and the resurrected Tribulation and Old Testament saints will live in the heavenly Jerusalem suspended above the earthly city. This millennium will be a time of great peace and prosperity, with Christ ruling on David's throne. After 1,000 yrs. Satan will be released from the chain with which he had been bound at the beginning of the millennium and many of the children born to the "sheep" and the Israelites will follow him in revolt against Christ.

The King will again destroy His enemies, followed by another resurrection of the righteous, another resurrection of the unrighteous, a final judgment, and at last the New Heavens and the New Earth.

Although premillennial thought has been recorded in the early church, dispensational theology and its pursuant eschatology are new, as even the father of the system admitted -"I think we ought to have something more of direct testimony as to the lord's coming, and its bearing also on the state of the church: ordinarily, it would not be well to have it so clear, as it frightens people. We must pursue it steadily; it works like leaven, and its fruit is by no means seen yet; I do not mean leaven as ill, but the thoughts are new, and people's minds work on them, and all the old habits are against their feelings - all the gain of situation, and every worldly motive; we must not be surprised at its effect being slow on the mass, the ordinary instruments of acting upon others having been trained in most opposite habits." - LETTERS OF J.N.D., vol.1 pg.25-26

The new doctrine was widely accepted in America, due to popular prophetic meetings such as the Niagara Bible Conferences. C.I. Scofield promulgated dispensational thought in his Scofield Reference Bible. Dispensational Bible institutes by the hundreds have sprung up across the continent - notably Moody Bible Institute and Dallas Theological Seminary.

Media evangelists such as Jerry Fallwell, Dave Hunt, Howard Conder, Charles Capps, Pat Robertson, Jack Van Impe, and Hal Lindsey popularize dispensational eschatology today. Most likely you have heard these doctrines taught over Christian radio programs, and yes, from your own church's pulpit, though probably no one defined the theological system as dispensationalism nor the origination as Darby circa 1832.Dispensationalists view the teaching as a return to Biblical theology, after nearly 1,800 years of darkness.

Another book focusing on the rebuilding of the temple does the same. Don Stewart and Chuck Missler dedicate their book, The Coming Temple (1991): “To our wonderful friends in Israel this book is lovingly dedicated.” In still another work Ready to Rebuild (1992) on p. 25 we read: “Today many Christians are excited about the very real potential for the rebuilding of Israel’s Temple in Jerusalem.”

But even while encouraging Jews to return to Israel, dispensationalists teach that “Zechariah predicts that two-thirds of the Jewish people in the land will perish during the Tribulation period.” (LaHaye Prophecy Study Bible, 1101). John Walvoord, in his Prophecy Knowledge Handbook (1990, p. 332) states of Zechariah 14:8–9: “This prophecy will be fulfilled in the Great Tribulation when two out of three of the Jews in the land attempt to flee their persecutor, the future world leader, will perish, and only one-third will escape.”

Should they not be warning Jews not to return to Israel? Would not it be more wise and compassionate to warn Jews what will befall them after they return?

Dispensationalism is trapped in a Catch-22: On their theological view of Israel and their eschatological view of history, they must encourage Jews to return to Israel. But on their exegetical understanding of prophecy, they know that after they have returned, fully two-thirds of them will be destroyed."

Should they not be warning Jews not to return to Israel? Would not it be more wise and compassionate to warn Jews what will befall them after they return?

I have a question for you and I am speaking one on one with you and you only. Over the past (250) years of human history concerning the church and the gospel that is to preached, what country or nation has sent out more Bible believing-born again- Christian missionaries into various parts of the world to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and establish churches in these areas to help the believers grow in grace and knowledge of Christ and be disciples for the Lord Jesus Christ? Do you know the name of that client nation that God has blessed and used for the work of preaching the glorious gospel in all the world and to every creature? When you find that out, ask yourself the question of how many believers that you know and fellowship with, heard the gospel and were born again in that client nation.

Abortions are a terrible thing and all those nations that have condoned and participated in that kind of behavior will be judged justly and those of that nation that did not participate will be rewarded justly. We need to do our part to prevent this kind of behavior but our first priority is to preach Jesus Christ and Him crucified. This will be the message that will change people's hearts and minds concerning taking the life of a human fetus that God created in the womb.

When you think of the wars that any client nation must embark upon, it is for the preservation of its liberties and freedoms that such wars take place. What would the USA and the world be like today if we and our allies had lost WW2 and were taken over by the Japanese or the Germans or a combination and unification of a group of nations? How much liberty and freedom do you suppose we would have concerning the church and the free worship of its believers and the proclamation of the gospel of Christ? many of us might never have heard the gospel and perhaps never have been born.

It amazes me that any believer would even consider the fact that Satan has been bound from deceiving the nations, especially when you can observe historically and presently the deception and religious atrocities that these nations around the world have been under and the effects it has had on its people. The reason that the gospel had been able to enter into many of these countries as a witness of the Lord Jesus Christ has nothing to do with the binding of Satan in the bottomless pit in (Rev 20:1-3), but is the result and fulfillment of the promise that Jesus made that He would build His church and the gates of hell would no be able to prevail against it (Mt 16:18).

Satan is blinding and beguiling the minds of those that do not believe, in every nation and among every tongue, but that is only providing a darkness for the light of the glorious gospel to shine unto them (2Cor 4:1-7). These who have been blinded and deceived by the god of this world system must have light and we must pray that God would raise up laborers because they are few and we must let our light shine unto them. This client nation has been called by God to raise up those laborers and she has been sending those laborers into the harvest field of nations for (250) years.

I know of one local church alone has trained up and sent each year between 10-20 full-time missionaries over the last 30 years and has established among the local people of these nations, that they have gone, over (400) local churches. Everyone of these local indigenous churches love each other, the pray and love the word and have a burden for lost souls. They get the message of the gospel out on the streets and in villages every single week. All this started and was done over the past 40+ years because a handful of people believed the promises of God, they had a vision to go into all the world with the gospel and never turned to the right or to the left and were steadfast and immovable and always abounding in the work of the Lord, because of the faithfulness and supply of God's incredible grace.

There are some on this site that just want to lay back and take it easy and go to a nice quiet church that preaches the word and that's it. That is all they want out of being a Christian. That's the peace they believe that God has called them to. These same people have the unmitigated gal to preach that believers are going to pass through the great tribulation to have their faith tested and perhaps even have their heads cut off, but for now they don't want to stick their neck out for nobody. If God brings someone to them every 5-10 years to give the gospel to, there okay with that and they have done their job as a believer. That's strange because I don't see the Lord and His disciples doing that. They were always getting up and going to the next place to preach the word to the people. You may be a believer but you are no disciple that takes up their cross to preach the gospel to every creature and lives godly before a Holy God.

America did send people out to preach the gospel. They received the word of God and now those from other places are being sent back to us to tell us to repent. America does kill our unborn babies, our presidents says it's OK. Last I knew a bunch of unlearned Christians voted this antichrist man into office.<<<<<Will they reap what they sowed by this action??? I was wondering how many places America has helped whose god is Satan. We divorce at the drop of of hat. The love of money over God is rampet. Love your neighbor, eh, I don't see it. No more Jew or gentile zone. I am the apple of Gods eye. You can be what ever you want. I pray one day you learn the word of God instead of thinking you know all and can be taught about God.
