Hello everyone. My name is Thaís and my call is to serve God as a pastor. I went through many problems before and after I knew God called and chose to be a pastor. Now, I don't care about problems any more because He provides, He's my father, He's my lawyer, He's my doctor and everything I need. Today, I received fresh and good word that says that God blesses the work of my hands and wants to give me more than I expect. The problem is that my heart and my attiude were not pleasing HIM. I would complain and cry if I didn0t have this or that but I realized that I had to "clean the temple and deny myself so that The Son of God takes place in my life.

I want to tell you that if you were called and chose to be a pastor, DON'T GIVE UP! It's a huge blessing to serve him in that way. (not only pastors or ministers serve God, but we all have to do it. I just wanted to say this to the ones who were called in that way)

I'm finishing writing a sermon about "Denying myself". Hopefully, i can share this with you.

Have a great and super blessed morning/afternoon/night.

Thaís R.

Dear thais,

When I read your post I was reminded of Jesus' admonition to His disciples, "Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it." (Matthew 16:24-25)

God bless you and your ministry. I look forward to reading your sermon.
