I guess I thought it was obvious, but if you need it spelled out...

The translator chose the word "circle" in English because God inspired the author of Isaiah to choose the word that means "circle" in Hebrew. One might even say that God inspired the translator to choose the word "circle"...

Technically, "technically" is defined as "according to the facts or exact meaning of something; strictly."
Nothing is really obvious with you Mr. AxeElf

I guess you missed that one word can be translated into various other words, a word can have multiple meanings. The translator based on context and other considerations decided on the word, now hopefully the translator made the right choice.

Do you speak any other languages Mr. AxeElf?

You haven't seen me naked.

Missed it? This is exactly why I was advocating for the Amplified Bible with you earlier--because it provides additional words that reveal shades of meaning and connotations of the original texts that are lost in single-word translations.

The translator based on context and other considerations decided on the word, now hopefully the translator made the right choice.
Yes, hopefully. I tend to think that if God went to the trouble to inspire His word in the first place, then He would also inspire translators to keep translations faithful to the meaning that He intended. In other words, I believe that God is powerful enough to insure the fidelity of His word in languages other than the ones in which the scriptures were originally written.

Do you speak any other languages Mr. AxeElf?
I can pick out a few words in various languages here and there, but not fluently (or even conversationally), no.

I think those of us who consider God as omnipotent and whose thought are higher than our thoughts, would take for granted He knows what's goin on.

I said, we can deduct from the Creation to how God explains it in the Book of Job in greater detail. There are specifics being explained, that we can relate it to what we would define such situations in our present time and world.

Iyov - Job - Chapter 38:4-5

Hebrew:

דאֵיפֹ֣ה הָ֖יִיתָ בְּיָסְדִי־אָ֑רֶץ הַ֜גֵּ֗ד אִם־יָדַ֥עְתָּ :
בִינָֽה

English:

4 Where were you when I founded the earth? Tell if you know understanding.

Hebrew:

המִי־שָׂ֣ם מְ֖מַדֶּיהָ כִּ֣י תֵדָ֑ע א֚וֹ מִֽי־נָטָ֖ה עָלֶ֣יהָ
קָּֽו:

English:

5 Who placed its measures if you know, or who extended a line over it?

That little bit includes a planet, how big it is, how God measured it (which a line = like our version of a tape measure). What God measured with a line, we measure with light travel. There can be the idea of Engineering, Mathematics, Astrophysics, Design from these 2 verses as well.

The Bible has enough questions it could easily lead to our current Science Book

Just on topic students are taking the day off school to protest climate change, I mean not that they think anything can be done to stop the climate from changing but maybe that things arent being done to prepare for it because it will affect people.

I guess when talking about it it always seems to open a can of worms but I do remember years ago it was not called 'climate change' but global warming or the greenhouse effect.
