People tend to have varying opinions of Johny Mac. I recall your thread about how to disagree on doctrine.
Johny Mac isn't the example of the positive method in that regard. He has a history of dedicating entire sermons to slamming other pastors with whom he disagrees. He was even a member of a panel of like minded folk as himself who did the very same thing and for hours.

As to global warming, it is climate change due to of course human existence and consumerism. For the most part, fossil fuel consumption is in part largely responsible for not just pollution but climate changes the world over.

Twenty years into this new 21st century there are still more than a dozen countries who use fossil fuel. Unimaginably toxic to people and the environment.

So yes, climate change itself is real and we are largely responsible. However, it should be noted that climate on earth has changed for millions of years and the earth is still here. Humans are like unto a parasite. We take, take, take in order to survive ourselves. In relative comparison what we give back is but a blip on the screen.
When we have gone too far like unto other species we'll go extinct.

You'll know when this planet is at crisis hour when efforts to inhabit other planets escalate at a tremendous pace. God forbid we achieve that arc.
In the meantime all you can do is do your part to not be part of the problem.

Now, just what about all the islands that are rising while some are sinking ? Continental drift and like the video mentions ''trade winds shift'' are the cause of Islands sinking or rising .. Any Climate Change is cyclical patterns determined by our Suns solar activity of which some are hundreds of year cycles within smaller cycles, all programmed in by God at creation .. Whenever we enter a different longer term cycle trade wind will begin to move and shift , some islands will rise and others will be put in the way because of the trade winds shift... They will cycle back eventually unless it is due to the earths crust moving ''continental drift'' .. Climate change is not man made or due to co2 .. All you have to do is compare recorded actual sea levels our East coast, West coast and Europe's west coast for example and compare it to what they actually are now (if they haven't edited it out off all the internet by now and info keeps on disappearing fast if you haven't noticed ..

And did you know we had new coal burning technology and new coal burning energy plant stations with minimum little or practically no emissions cancelled when Obama was elected ? So if the process of melting continues the methane in the soil under the ice will escape and accelerate the warming effect so it will melt faster than the year before year after year.

It would be rather odd to think that devil would devise an hoax and trick us into doing everything we could to obey God and clean up the pollution's we put into the earth right? I think while the north pole is melting, the south pole is actually expanding. Earth's climate has always fluctuated since records have been recorded. The question is "WHY." The truth is nobody knows, in my opinion.

And friend, what do surveyors say about most world mountain ranges still rising in elevation as we speak, shouldn't erosion be breaking them lower ? I love science .. It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter. .. Carbon , all carbon was created in the beginning with the other elements .. A basic element required for all life, right ? Try living without it .. But slow down and follow the money and the relative quick agenda .. Check out this short video then research the vast amounts of valuable oil, gas and coal deposits discovered the last few years in Israel where previously was thought there was no oil, gas or coal deposits .. Who would want to deny Israel there vast newfound wealth and to become energy independent from the world? And the recent finds in America to become the worlds leader .. I think that God give and put the oil for Israel to use , you ?

Yes and we will continue to reap what we sow .. Where do you live ? I was talking about global warming and sea level rising .. Pollution is not a problem where I live and not much my business in India or China, and imo for a fraction those 3rd world countries could clean up everything , I remember hunting drink bottles on the sides of the roads for pennies .. I wouldn't mind helping but 2,000,000,000 dollars for the USA to pay for a carbon tax and in effect for us to pay years before the actual polluters begin to pay their share.. And if I spilled any chemical or even had a 1/2 gallon oil spill the last place I worked, regulations called for a report , clean up procedures , roping off the area and calling the combination fire emergency /spill cleanup crew, then a final report and possible fine if neglect was found .. Have you ever noticed the grass on the sides of any road that washes oil after every rain year after year, the grass on the sides of the road use it like high grade fertilizer and it takes millions to keep it cut .. One of the great lakes were bad polluted and a few rivers 60-70 yrs ago and we cleaned them all up .. We do plenty enough.. But like the covid 19 BS, you don't shut down entire economies because you catch a cold or afraid you might, the numbers are out and not intimidating to me at all especially considering age groups or vs other sicknesses ,it is a joke, why not outlaw tobacco or alcohol or illegal drugs , do you not think every police dept knows what section of their towns, streets , you can hook up for any drug you want .. And some things like cold and flue you have to live with, I always had sense enough to stay home if I were too sick for myself and even sick days at many places for that reason, just call in and go see a dr .. And try starting a business where you sneak and pump chemicals or raw sewage in a creek or out on the ground and see what happens if you get caught.. The democrat solution is to keep pumping money into the bucket full of holes but never fix the holes or get a new bucket .

The United States fishing industry alone generated 200 billion dollars in seafood in 2015. Worldwide, it would probably be over 1 trillion dollars.
10% of the world's population depends on fisheries for their livelihoods, and 4.3 billion people are reliant on fish for 15% of their animal protein intake.

How did you feel about ''chemtrails''.. Did you ever notice them, do you think it was normal water vapor or do you think it was chemicals polluting, being sprayed on purpose that lingered for hrs in our skies like I do ? I have sat and watched 4 or 5 jets fly back and forth for hours .. They would go down cut the trails off while they turned around then start spraying again .. I used to hate seeing that .. I don't know if they finally quit spraying about 4 yrs ago or if they come up with a way to spray clear and unseen or if I quit noticing them .. Before I remember seeing those chemtrails I remember a small fish we called ''spots'' and they would run in the spring headed North then again in the fall headed South .. You could catch them 2-3 at a time ''as many hooks you had'' I've caught coolers full when they would run .. I was swimming at Freeman Park a few years ago and a school of thousands swam by me .. You can still catch a few spots but nothing like times past, and there is little or no commercial shrimping goes on anymore in Wilmington … I think the chemtrails were killing off much of our coastal estuaries ''natural hatcheries'' .. My proof ? Where are the massive and dependable spot runs, where are all the blue crabs, where are the shrimp boats that filled the morning offshore costal water in Wilmington .. (I had heard at one time that blue crabs laid so many eggs and so easy to feed and raise they were offered as a helpful solution to world hunger) When I moved to Wilmington I prayed for God to give me a taste for those ''spots'' fish .. They kinda had a fishy taste and fish were never my favorite , but Lord have mercy, I got to where I craved those things, I could eat them anytime and I still think they are my favorite food .. This Virginia video is a sample from 7 yrs ago but I remember at Kure beach pier, Carolina beach pier and Johnny mercer pier in Wrightsville beach catching spots as soon as your hook hit the water and so crowded people were climbing shoulder to shoulder all over you every time another school of ''spots'' come through .. The old timers told me about tractor trailers in the 60's backing up and loading spots caught with gill nets headed for NYC sold for a pennies a pound but I never saw that . Google ''Surfchex'' for live pier and beach cams .. The Carolina Beach cam at Surfchex I can see my family from my computer when they drive out on the beach at freeman park sometimes and talk on the phone , kinda cool ..

A couple other peculiar things .. My neighbors and I received a letter approx. 15-20 yrs ago informing me that our local water company would be building a new huge water reservoir lake behind my house .. Already approved and mapped out then suddenly the plans were scrapped .. Also about 20 miles from here there were plans to build a huge new lake to be named Patriots Lake in the next county in Sumter National Forest .. The idea was for new jobs, power generation, water conversation, and economic growth through the recreational industry .. I'm told the Army corp of Engineers had alL the studies and plans on paper then it was just shut down after a couple years of hope and local excitement, the Senator's newspaper statement for scrapping the idea was simply ''just forget it, it ain't gonna happen'' .. And Strom Thurmond had bought land in Chester co bordering Union co long ago rumored for a massive future lake in another secluded spot on broad river.. It never happened either .. How many other future plans were scrapped in America .. And I remember long ago the state and federal would help build you a pond or lake and even stock it for you in the name of water conservation .. We have had a couple reservoirs built local but long ago that I can think of, Bowen lake built in 1960 and the infamous John D long lake built in the 70's where Susan Smith murdered her children in 94 and where few people ever go since that I know of ..

There are two different concepts here.
The first is how we personally and corporately keep our environment clean and healthy.
Secondly; the long term climate changes that are well know to happen and are caused by the one driver of our climate; the sun.

The first is something we can and should do, or the effects like smog, will be detrimental to us.
The second is nothing we can do to alter the normal, cyclical weather patterns, which are often quite dramatic. but are totally beyond our control.

So we must do all we can to keep our environment clean and healthy. Also control and enforce overuse of all the resources.
But to think we have any way to stop the sun from giving us extreme hot or cold weather; is just impossible and the dream of crazies.

Bible prophecy tells us that the Lord will use the sun to change this world as we know it. Could be quite soon!

Pollution is not a myth. But the world's worst polluters are immune to Western pleas. China, India, Russia and the rest of the world do not give a hoot about pollution or CO2 emissions. And that is the real issue.

However Global warming is the myth that the CO2 (produced by the burning of various fuels) is responsible for global warming, and that the sky is falling because of that. C02 is not a harmful gas, since without it there would be no plants. It is a necessity for photosynthesis. And the small additional CO2 is of no danger to anyone.

Nonetheless, the myth is that only the elites should jet around in their private jets, and travel around in their luxury automobiles. Their importance is critical to the survival of the planet. But the rest of the *riff-raff* should ride bicycles and be grateful to the elite for the crumbs that they receive. Pure HOGWASH!

Makes garbage and waste disposal in our seas even more disturbing given those numbers.

With regard to nuclear power for our electricity what is deeply disturbing about that is the atomic water that results. Heavy water or atomic water that cools the core of the reactor can't be disposed of by any other method than to bury it.

well yea...the problem as I stated before.in that when all that ice melts and the methane and other gasses trapped under it escape then the problem you'll have is the gasses you already have along with the ones that were trapped.
