why wouldn't our purpose be the same as Adam since Jesus restored it back to order?

why wouldn't our purpose be the same as Adam since Jesus restored it back to order?

Jesus restored all things, but we will not see it until the wicked are removed.

did not God allow Adam to walk around and NAME THINGS? did not God allow Adam to have Authority and Dominion over the Earth?
so when Adam lost this, did not Jesus restore it back?

That was before he fell.

so, how come Believers are not walking around in Authority and Dominion over the things of the Earth? the LOVE of God not only gave us Salvation, Victory over death, and Resurrection Power, but He gave us back what Adam had lost. so why are we not utilizing it?

Simply because God cannot trust us while we live in this body of death.

God could deny anything put forth if it does not align with His Word.

maybe this will be clearer.
Adam, (before the Fall), Spoke and it was done. we don't see Adam doing physical work until after the Fall. so if he was Created to till the ground, it reads like he could speak it into existence and the ground was tilled.

Jesus came, He did no physical work, He spoke everything into existence. Winds be Clam, Storm Cease, Fish fill the nets of the Disciples, People be Healed.

Jesus restored what Adam had.

so, why can't we speak to the storm and it stop?
speak to the sick and they be healed?

this is the Order i am talking about that was restored.

Our purpose is greater than Adam's. We are now dwelling in heavenly places in Christ, but we are not yet glorified with a body of glory (Phil. 3:20-21, Eph. 2:6)

Yes, he did, but that was before the fall. Imagine if he would've been faithful. The next task would have been to be Botanist, after that a mineralogist, a geologist, etc.

We are not capable of walking in divine authority while we still struggle with sin, so until get our glorified bodies just like the one Jesus has, we can only wait for the revelation of the sons of God,
Rom. 8:19 (NKJV) "For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God."

so much for us being Saved and God accepting us as heirs if God still condemns us based upon our ability to sin. that alone tosses out OSAS!

Yes, He did. He worked as a carpenter for 30 years. Work was never considered a curse. God is always working (Jn 5:17). The issue here is that work can be considered playing if you fully enjoy it. A writer who loves to write enjoys his work, the same can be said of a craftsman, a painter, a scientist, etc. You don't always have to be paid to work. Work can be a delight.

Jesus restored what Adam had.

He did, but as long as sin is in the world, we will not see what Jesus fully accomplished.

so, why can't we speak to the storm and it stop?
speak to the sick and they be healed?

It's all about how the Lord delegates authority once your obedience to His word becomes a practical reality in your life. Delegated authority and trust come hand in hand. You don't do what you want whenever you feel like it, even the Lord said that He could do nothing on His own (Jn 5:19). He was always obedient to the leading of the Spirt and only did the things that please the Father. Are you willing to do that?

The main thing is that we must always work in union with the Spirit of God because He requires us to have a close relationship with Him based on total trust. If we begin to understand His love for us and walk in obedience to the leading of His Spirit, in time, we will see the fruit, but we begin by being obedient in the insignificant things of life.

Do you love your wife? Are you honest at work? Do you delight in doing good without looking for a reward? Do you do the right thing even if no one is looking? The Lord looks for these things before He can trust you with greater responsibilities.

this is the Order i am talking about that was restored.
The order restored is individual, not collective.

You want the glory without paying the price of being obedient even in the smallest thing. Character comes before authority.

I would like to know more about God’s purpose. Please guide me to any discussion on this subject.
I believe God does have a purpose for every born again child of God. The only thing that I have knowledge of, is how he purposed my past, which was different than the way I had it planned. I do not understand what purpose that he has for me presently or in the future, but I am trusting God to guide me..

I believe that the inspired word of God are instructions written to his adopted children, on how he

wants them to live their lives as they sojourn here in this world.

God does not plan things, he purposes things.

I would like to know more about God’s purpose. Please guide me to any discussion on this subject.
Born again is the same as new creation we’re meant to be changed this is our purpose and why he saved us

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

we’re made to follow Jesus teachkngs and those good works he taught us to do

we’re made to shine his light in the darkness to inpact the people around us in the world with love and goodness in all it’s forms taught by Christ Jesus

we’re saved from being servants of the evil in this world , doing harm to others speaking lies , lusting and commiting sins of lust ect all the bad in the world we’re created To part from those things they are satans Will d made to start gathering the faith in the gospel d following those things he created us to walk in we’re literally saved to do food works and reflect Christs goodness and mercy , his forgiveness and love found and known and conveyed by Jesus our lord in the gospel another example

This is where every Christian’s place is and it’s why Jesus did what he did

“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.”
‭‭Titus‬ ‭2:11-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The reason oaul wants it taught is. Excuse that’s how grace saves us it teaches us to repent of evil works me become zealous for doing the good works we’re taught by Jesus to walk in or walk after his ways and teachings

all they really teach us is how we are supposed to treat each other forgive don’t hold grudges , help others when you are able to help them especially the needy among us , don’t lust after someone’s spouse , live a merciful life , not just a life where God is merciful to you but be merciful as our father has been and is To us when we do something wrong

he just teaches us how to live right and how we are to act in daily life how dowctine isn’t a list of rules but a collection of Hods own teachkngs to mankknd meant to create a new nature new perception of God , ourselves , this world and his eternal kingdom to come

we just want to let it in d the word of Christ is we don’t reject and deny it will begin to strengthen or “ quicken “ our mind and heart where the sin problem exists this is able to change our trajectory and how we actually live life it has the power to change us based on if we hear and accept and believe him

if we do that we come to the conclusion “ this is our lord , he is the one whom is going to judge us , it’s his word I need to hear and start to accept and let it change my thinking “

his word is the key to everything the Bible has to offer it’s the vehicle for how the hilt spirit gets into our hearts d that’s when the real change begins to manifest we just persevere in the faith Jesus spoke forth and he will re create us from within and that is what changes us outwardly in our deeds

we have to let the gospel in and let it change what we believe because mostly we think we know but if the Bible is saying something we don’t believe it’s never going to change nee have to conform to it and let our minds change and come to agree with the gospel

our only place is to let Jesus do his work in us through his word that’s where faith is found

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

we have to hear the word of the gospel it’s eternal Life d freedom from condemnation

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭

The reason Jesus constantly said things like that or like this

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.”
‭‭John‬ ‭6:63, 68-69‬ ‭KJV‬‬

e reason he repeatedly says that type of thing is because it is the fulfillment of this

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David. Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55:3-4, 6-7, 10-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

he sent the word to save us the word is what “ quickens “ is it breathes life into us it wakes us up from our slumber and wakes us up to hear the truth from God because we find that we had hardly any clue so it is a changing event to learn what Gods true word is to believers if we do actually hear and believe him

you do realize that tearing down Satanic strongholds is preaching the Gospel of Christ and those inflicted should they be bound you pray over them in the Authority of the Name of Yeshua of Nazareth and be free to allow the Spirit of God to intercede?

not sure what your idealism is all about but maybe it's why you don't seem to understand anything i post.

brother it’s just that you’ve heard things and allowed them in that some others haven’t , we can’t understand things we’ve never even heard about and could never have faith unless we heard and believed the gospel what I mean is some haven’t heard complete message of the gospel but , they believe what they have heard even if it’s just a starting point like this

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

That’s the gospel , it’s not everything in the gospel but it’s truth from the gospel that younger mknds can hear and believe it’s only when the foundation is laid that we can start to build upon it

disagreements have always been an issue in Christianity but it’s just because we have heard different things some have heard things not in scriptures from false teachers others have heard just smaller amounts of the truth and some have a thorough understanding of doctrine

we don’t need to be experts in doctrine but need to be believers who live at peace as much as is possible

I believe that when a person receives the life of Christ by the Holy Spirit by faith and the grace of God, he is a new person, the old has gone and he is now a new creation of God. There is a dramatic inward change in his life and God gives him a new inward constitution. The Lord Jesus Christ becomes his all-in-all. He lives to become more like Him in nature and character. He experiences something that cannot be easily explained but the power of which enables him to commit his whole life to the Lord. I could go on …The apostle Paul’s experience on the road to Damascus is a good example.

Christ in me,
May I suggest looking at the context with me?

"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
.6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?"

Verse 5 there are two nouns,
Water and Spirit.
An Episcopal priest assured me it was water baptism. Why? Because of the context?
No, because he was an Episcopalian who taught a works based salvation.

Next is Jesus' explanation. Verse 6.
What does he say?
That which is born of the baptistry is flesh?
No, He says, "That which is born of the flesh is flesh."
So what is He speaking of? Answer:. Flesh birth. Not all that difficult.
Child birth happens to be born of water as any woman can tell us. The baby isn't swimming in a church baptistry, but is in the fluid within it's mother's womb.
Spiritual birth is the second half.

Since you were born into this world as we all were, Jesus says that a new birth, a spiritual birth is necessary.

Let's look at what condemns a man first.
He said inverse 18
"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

Did he say, he that has not been baptized, or a good person, or has committed crimed, is condemned?
Nothing about that. In fact He says just the opposite
"but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

What do people want to believe in to save them?
Good works like..
Clean living
Sacraments
Trying to not sin as much as they used to..
Baptism

These have their place but they have no place when it comes to salvation.

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.". Ephesians 2

I appreciate your humble attitude Christ in me!

I have to sign off for tonight, but please don't hesitate to ask of you have any questions. Perhaps this brief Bible message to this class will be a blessing.

And this is the life that was revealed; we have seen it and testified to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life that was with the Father and was revealed to us.
We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And this fellowship of ours is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ. We write these things so that oura joy may be complete.”

Once we are saved, our fellowship is with the Father and with Christ. To put it another way: The core of our being is the Living God. It is in this state we become His disciples. This is the light we walk in and the sequential revealing of this light changes us from glory to glory. As we mature in Christ we display the Father in increasing measure as He lives through us.

you make some good points indeed. once i found my way back to God i decided not to go the denominational route. i made it a purpose to hear Great teachers of the Holy Word that had roots in Methodist, Wesleyan, Baptist, Presbyterian, and Pentecost. i allowed my mind to be open to the differences and researched them to understand why they believed as they did. and i discovered so many hidden truths. and i thought to myself i need to find a way to apply these truths to my walk in God. and like anything else, it took time. but eventually, the Holy Spirit used those truths to open my eyes to things still hidden. which is why i believed there has to be more than just calling Adam the first Adam and Jesus the second Adam.

Jesus did more than restore our Salvation. He restored where Adam failed. but more than that, Jesus restored our Dominion and Authority through Him. so we have been restored, and the Blood of Christ redeems us like Adam was before he sinned, just without being perfect. before the Foundations of the World were ever Spoken into Existence, look what God did for [[((US))]] in Ephesians 1:
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

look at Verse 9
9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

we have been restored by Christ!

when we understand this and begin to live it, God will use us to do great things for His Kingdom and to fulfill the mystery of His Will.

i just happen to Believe it now and am trying to get others to see it for themselves.

John 1:12-13 KJV But as many as received him, (not accepted him) to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Accepting Christ requires the will of the flesh and that of the will of man. Receiving does not require the will of the flesh nor the will of man.
that's wonderful
