Psalm 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord !
After reading the comments; it seems like there is a distinct divide among those who read your love of God and country. The way you titled this thread seems to speak of a person's love for God, and that He bless this land you are given to work good out of.
Some were chosen to 'spy' out the land given to God's people (and aren't you one of God's people); and when these men came back, their reports did not at all match. Some spoke of a place they would have to fight an impossible fight for, having nothing good to say; Doubts and fear weighed heavy in their witness; but Caleb and Joshua saw this as a land of opportunity; a land of milk and honey as God had promised. So those who follow in God's love for them; are the nation of God's people, no matter where you live and are being gathered to Him as a nation. Some believe the Jerusalem we can see is the place of God's nation. Too bad...
This is what I see that followed after you gave a good report; that this land you walk on has many good characteristics when you consider how you personally can make good come from a land that you apply your heart mind and soul to. It is people like Caleb and Joshua; and people like you who personally have chosen to labor towards the things which are eternal. The things you have set you hands, your mind and your heart to, is a continual witness that you are a citizen of the Nation of God. In this thread I have seen positive things towards God's people; and Jesus said,
"These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no man than this, than to lay one's life for his friends. You are My friends if you do what ever I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, and what ever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. These things I command you, that you love one another."
What good comes of hatred unless someone suffers; and what good is suffering unless someone believes good will come of it? Or is suffering designed to bring hatred and more suffering? Someone needs to suffer for good; and this is the love Jesus speaks (present tense) of; that I lay down my life for good, as Jesus laid down His life for me.
