2 Corinthians 1
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
Wow Amen..Have you guys ever had an experience when you are suffering and God comforts you with a specific bible verse or whole passage?
The past few days I've been sick and felt very weak.. I started to read through Isaiah and guess what ..
Isaiah 40
28 Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the LORD,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
Wow.. I was so happy and peaceful after that!! I just felt so much comfort even though I was still sick! I was just curious if anyone has a similar testimony, I am sure many of you do! !
Please share what happened and what bible verse comforted you?
