Emptying of Equality
it is his equality with God that Jesus did not regard as robbery to possess. He did not gain his divine equality by an act of seizure or robbery.
So you're saying what I've accused you of saying:

God didn't think it robbery to be equal to Himself

These two sections tie it together quite nicely for me.

[h=1]Matthew 3:17Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)[/h]17 and lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

[h=1]Colossians 1:13-20King James Version (KJV)[/h][h=1]13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

this is the first intelligent thing you have said on this thread......and I fully agree........

denying the Divinity of Christ, the Holy Trinity is not ONLY nonsense, it may well be eternal damnation......just some food for thought.......
Sir, no maybe about it, if one has the wrong Jesus they having nothing more than an idol and are Hell bound, and hopelessly lost. Jesus makes it very clear, that He and the father are one and that he is God.

Shubee, please tell me how one becomes born again.

And you believe this contradicts The Fundamental Beliefs of the Millerites, Circa 2014?

Do you realize that you are dishonoring Christ's prayer about the oneness of the Father and the Son and the oneness of those who believe in Christ as cited in The Fundamental Beliefs of the Millerites, Circa 2014?

Jesus is God manifest in the flesh which means that God manifest all His attributes to the man Christ Jesus and the Spirit in Christ is still connected to the omnipresent Spirit of God for God cannot be separated.

The Bible says that when the Ruler to come appears who is Jesus He will be from everlasting to everlasting which means Jesus has no beginning.

Jesus is God manifest in the flesh and Jesus is fully God and fully man and the man Christ Jesus is God's personal human body that God glorified and sits on the throne in heaven which is the throne of both God and the Lamb who is God in the glorified body of the man Christ Jesus.

This is how the invisible God will have a visible relationship with the saints for the only way we can see God is by Jesus who is a visible manifestation of the one true God.

Since the man Christ Jesus is God's personal human body and God manifest all His attributes to Him which Jesus is the fulness of the Godhead in bodily form and it pleased the Father that in Christ all fulness should dwell and He has the Spirit without measure and the Spirit in Christ is still connected to the omnipresent Spirit of God,the man Christ Jesus did not think it was offending God to consider being equal to God since He is God manifest in the flesh and a part of God that will always dwell with God forever.

The throne in heaven is the throne of both God and the Lamb,God in the glorified body of the man Christ Jesus.

Since Jesus is God manifest in the flesh then the deity of the man Christ Jesus is God where the saints have partial attributes.

There is only one throne in heaven which is the throne of both God and the Lamb.

The Bible says that there is one God,and one mediator between God and men,the man Christ Jesus.

Our Savior is the man Christ Jesus for only a sinless man can approach a holy God on mankind's behalf.

No man is sinless so God reconciled the world back to Himself in the person of Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man in harmony.

When the Bible says Jesus is at the right hand of God it does not mean that Jesus sits on a throne next to the Father, but God exalted the man Christ Jesus to exercise the throne of power for a certain amount of time for the Son must reign for our sakes because He is our Savior, and when all His enemies are conquered then the Son shall submit to the Father that God may be all in all.

Of course although God exalted the man Christ Jesus to exercise the throne of power,God is still in charge for Jesus is God manifest in the flesh.

In other words God is ruling through the man Christ Jesus for the saints sake whose deity is God until a certain time then when all the Son's enemies are conquered and the saints are in heaven then God does not have to rule through the man Christ Jesus for the saints sake and God will be all in all.

Well I didn't mention that. Upon reading your linked i find it odd they skipped over For by him were all things created.
It wasn't skipped over.

Well doing a word search neither the word created nor the phrase ''For by him were all things created.'' appear on the page.

I read your link, and I didnt see a prayer. I dont see how affirming the trinity or the deity of Christ is dishorning, but if it is so be it as I have a higher standard (the word of God) than the SVA's doctrinal statement if thats what that was.

The very first error I noticed was calling God a thing. He is not cousin it, He is spirit and should be correctly called that, not a thing.

Also # 8 Revelation is not special or progressive, the cannon is seal and sufficent!

Thanks for sharing.

Yes, but you are ignoring two facts:

1. The third fundamental Millerite belief states: "God is unfathomably infinite. He is the source of all things and His Son is the agent through whom all things have come."

And that belief subsumes the line you wanted and is upheld by the Scripture cited:

1 Corinthians 8:6-7
"Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live. But not everyone knows this." (cf. John 1:3).

2. The page contains the link Where does Christ rank in the Godhead? which cites Colossians 1:15-20 explicitly.

I read your link, and I didnt see a prayer.
The link cites Christ's prayer, which I believe is disrespected:

John 17
20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

Ok, well I must be beat. I still dont see what your implying that was disrespected.
More importantly though, how do you become born again? And do you have assurance of salvation?

The very first error I noticed was calling God a thing.
What you call an error came by a vision but it also has a Biblical precedent.

Luke 1:35 King James Version (KJV)
[SUP]35 [/SUP]And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Luke 1:35 Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
[SUP]35 [/SUP]And the messenger answering said to her, `The Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee, therefore also the holy-begotten thing shall be called Son of God;

Yet one more mistake. There is no formula.
I didnt say there was, do you not know that you avoid the quest and are embarrased? Are you not born again?
It was a simple question. Someone comes up to you with a knife in their gut they are bleeding to death and have 3 minutes left and want to go to heaven.
What would you tell them?
