When you hear that verse, do you strictly think to yourself, that means towards sanctification - strictly?

It is a good gift
-repentance
-fruit of the Spirit
-sanctification itself

We don't want to say that God is for our happiness - happiness is a by-product and not a prime-product

by-product yes!

Do you ever think God enjoys you because your His Child?

That He enjoys it when He gives things to you?

I know I have had a difficult time with this, I also have a difficult time believing compliments people give me, and maybe that also produces sometimes a peace but without emotion when God does something amazing and over the top, like I can't believe He actually did that - something must be wrong, God doesn't do that

i have been contemplating buying a Tacoma pick up since, I think I wanted a car when I was 19. I settled for the cheap, I even almost bought one, but settled for a Rav4 -which was great. I actually the past few weeks had looked at some, saw one I really liked, Sparkly green, but over priced. I kind of chided with myself, I don't want it, my car is good.

Well, yesterday, just wanted to look, I put in the search engine a specific type and I found a 2012 Sparkly Green Tacoma, and it was a lot better price range. I looked more, it was fully loaded, and only had 1588 miles on it? Come to find out the guy who had the truck had a company truck, and never used it. He wanted a nice car, so he traded it in

So went through the paperwork, approved for what I could afford, and I praying, like what do I do Lord, silence, and peace - Like God was saying "it's your choice" I found this for you, so if you want it take it

So, not out of emotion, I decided to buy it. I love it, it's basically a fully loaded truck, brand new minus about 200 month lol in payment.

I am having trouble just comprehending the elation i should feel, thoughts?

However you feel about the stuff, remember to love your neighbor as yourself. Christians do not own anything but a measure of God, we are stewards of the tools given to us to use for the glory of God.
