Mathew chapter 22, verses 25 - 33.

In verse 32 Jesus said ' God is not the God of the dead, but of the living'.

What does this mean? Is God no longer still our God when we are gone from this life? Or maybe it means none are ever dead who have faith in God.
A little more clarifying is needed for me to understand fully this scripture.

at he Sadducee’s we’re trying to trap Jesus i his words because they didn’t believe in a resurrection Jesus was talking about it a lot …

“Then came to him certain of the Sadducees, which deny that there is any resurrection; and they asked him,”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭20:27‬ ‭KJV‬‬
https:

“Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. ( they had already all died )

For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭20:37-38‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Moses was told “ I am the God of Abraham and of Isaac and of Jacob “ speaking of them as if they are alive because they are with him
