Yes, I know Oblio--however, the whole point of this forum is to share what we believe about 'Holy Spirit Laughter'--and I believe it is a 'doctrine of demons'--one of Satan's best used tools in the church is to appear as 'an angel of light'. Yours and Lafftur' notion that because it feels good it must be okay, reminds me of the expression, "If it feels good, do it."

Testing the spirits and speaking out against demonic activity in the church is not pride.

I agree some people have ZERO understanding of the indwelling Holy Spirit!
The Spirit can NOT be taught nor controlled and God is NOT the author of confusion!

Laura, you're just seeking to be RIGHT....you're NOT seeking TRUTH. Your little box of religion is not going to sustain you through all the storms of this life. You'll need a really good laugh at some point. God knows this and wants to refresh you. Let Him. :love:

Don't let that judgmental critical spirit mess with you...that "religious legalistic" one that is stiff-necked and resists the Holy Spirit.

Just stay humbled and childlike and ask the Father for a refreshing from His Holy Spirit. He loves you. :love:(y)

Testing the spirits is not judgmental--I am on fire for God and the TRUTH of His word--my job as a Christian is not so much to be happy as to be holy. "Be Holy as I am Holy."

"My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring him back, consider this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and cover over a multitude of sins."--James 5:19-20

PS Odd to say a person who stands on God's Word is being legalistic--legalists are like the Pharisees- adding rules and regulations to God's Word.
